Econo Lodge Grand Junction North

This was not the worst hotel in the world, I want to be clear about that but as someone who sets their search criteria to hotels rated 8 and up and this was definitely not an 8 and up hotel. The cleanliness was really bad, there was hair in the bed and it just felt ehh.. also they are rated high on their breakfast and literally had cereal and waffles.

It was loud in my room; now I realize that the hotel is right next door to I-70 (so that isn't the hotel's fault). The walls are very thin, and I could hear the neighbors talking and the TV. The breakfast "offering" was very bleak: waffles, a few muffins, and coffee. The room was spacious, clean, and simple. It is a budget-friendly place.

Poor breakfast choices, room had drapery partly pulled down, lamp ready to fall over and not functioning, dirty chairs. Thus property needs a complete renovation

Did not have breakfast. Room was clean, friendly staff. I could see my car from the room, always a bonus.

That part of town didn’t feel safe. Maybe homeless met on benches in the parking lot? Staff was friendly. Room was adequate.
