I have stayed in the second floor twice. Both rooms great. Wouldnt make any complaints. I keep forgetting my suit! They have a beautiful pool they take good care of from the looks of it.

Hotel and room were clean. Check in was quick and easy. Parking is very limited. Hotel is storing building and renovation materials in parking lot. Pool was closed which was a disappointment. We were given no towels to take showers. I had to go to the lobby to get towels, I was told there were no clean towels. So I was given pool towels to use for my shower.

The property and room was exceptional in condition and cleanliness. The breakfast was excellent, but would have liked butter and syrup for the waffles. However, unlike any other place I have been to, they did provide strawberry compote and whipped cream for the waffles which was delightful. Unfortunately, the whirlpool/hot tub at the pool was down, but everything else was wonderful

The pool was cold and hot tub down due to boiler being broken. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We were awoken at 2am to the fire alarm. 1st time it shut off so we figure false alarm. Then it went off a second time. Spent 45 minutes outside waiting to be allowed back in. Once back in, there was a smoke detector dripping water on the 3rd floor. The breakfast was gross. Things were empty and when we asked if they were brining out more, we were told maybe in a while. My boys wanted milk and when they went to drink it, despite it not being expired, it was curdled and soured. The creamer in the large jug by the coffee was the same. I told the worker and she just said “hmm ok” and walked away. When we checked out, the front desk apologized for the fire alarm (a few checking out had mentioned they felt bad for the young family with little boys) and she went on to say that usually when it happens they just reset the system, so it’s a known issue. I mentioned the food and milk and she just said “oh”. Nothing done to make anything better.

Friendly staff, decent price. The pool is open until 12am which is nice, water temperature was perfect. Nice pool /hot tub facility area. Hot tub was lacking in quality, only a couple of jets worked. It looks like they have been working to renovate the hotel and make some upgrades.

Nice enough hotel, walkable distance to Mount Hawley Airport. Hot tub was inoperative. Pool was nice. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Overall a great value.

Our room on arrival had not been cleaned…desk was dirty and there were mens cloths in vanity area…they switched our room but nothing else. No money back nothing just pack up where you are and we will get different room. After two long softball games it was just to much. We did not stay for second night

Would NEVER stay here again EVER. We have a relative living in the area and have stayed in the past for funerals and occasions but not for few years. It was so out of date. The room had such a strong bleach smell that at first I couldn’t catch my breath. The lighting around the bathroom mirror which was a nice area but NOT in the bathroom was very unlit. It wasn’t even enough light to put on makeup. The room obviously wasn’t vacuumed well because there was an old Cheetos on the floor snd the curtains weren’t installed properly not to mention very outdated. When we left in morning we weren’t going to eat breakfast but was going to get coffee and only hot water was in the coffee area. NO ONE AROUND TO ASK and NO ONE AT DESK. Very disappointed in the whole day. It was obvious they were redoing some rooms because sitting are in lobby was packed (every inch) with furniture in bubble wrap.

Tv or TV remote would not show the channel numbers. So, the only way you could select a channel was from the guide on the menu on the tv. You’d have to use the channel

We originally was placed in a room where the heat was not working. The room was freezing, we went to the front desk to let them know and the attendant told us he had previously reported the heater. Besides that everything else was okay. We went to the pool while they found us another room.

Had issues with heat/AC that took them days to fix. Somehow finally fixing the unit caused the bathroom fan to run 24/7. I asked for more coffee pods (only got pods for day #1 of a four day stay). The lighting in the bathroom is extremely poor, whole room was quite dark in fact. The bed had just a super-thin duvet with sheeting, with no extra blankets which was tough the first two nights when the unit blasted cool air all night. I give them props for a nicer-than -usual free breakfast. I would not stay at this property again.

Our stay was very comfortable. The mattress was excellent, sheets sooo soft, and the room was clean. One thing to note, there is no bright lighting in the room near a mirror - there is light, but the room could be described as dim overall. So, if you need to do makeup, bring a makeup mirror.

$163 room. Broken tv . Broken air conditioning. None of the outlets work unless all the lights are on. Dirty bathroom with hairs in shower and no towels . Front desk was helpful and tried to do the best they could knowing they were in a terrible situation. 10/10 do not recommend!

Liked the breakfast..... Did not like the fact that we couldn't control the air condition...the room was much too cold. We actually had to turn the heat on in order to warm the room. Also, the small refrigarator did not keep our items cool.

Mixed feelings regarding check in . Stood waiting a long time as it seemed one girl on desk was learning and seemed to be running into problems. Must have been 15 mins before I was even acknowledged. Lobby was nice ,always etc not great. Rooms where clean spacious and comfortable. Furniture looked quite new. Bathroom could do with being replaced . But for $80 a night I have to say it's great value for that.

Front desk was very rude. Lobby and breakfast room were packed with a wrestling team parents from 7:30 pm till past midnight. Kids running through the halls ,myself and my 1 year old baby couldn’t sleep. Will never stay there again. Cost way too much for what we got!

The woman at the front desk was so helpful and so quick! Quickest least complicated check in at a hotel in years. We had a giant group (soccer team & parents) and it was a 10/10 from our group mostly due to the great customer service.

We arrived around midnight and the guy at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. Everything was very clean. Our stay was short (just one overnight, from about midnight to 9am), but all the staff we encountered was working and was friendly.

My wife and I never got to stay at the AmericInn despite having paid reservations for two nights. Feeling under the weather, I delayed our trip and did not arrive the first night. We arrived around 1:30 the next afternoon to find out our reservation was no longer valid because we did not call and cancel the previous night which we had already paid for. Someone "altered" our reservation and gave our room to someone else to fill up the hotel. This was an unpleasant surprise after driving 3 1/2 hours and we have yet to receive a refund for the 2nd night.

Liked that the pool hours were longer. AC in the rooms were COLD and worked really well. Breakfast was good. Beds were comfy. Not too far from the baseball stadium which was convenient. Fridge in room didn't work which was unfortunate. Couldn't eat our leftovers. Lights in the room were strange. Had to turn the bathroom lights on to get the lights by the bed to work. Also had an outlet that wouldn't work by the bed. Overall good experience and probably would stay again.

This one is a gem! Very quiet, safe area near shopping. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool looked clean and inviting.Easy, free parking. Panera Bread close walking distance away. If you like catfish, try JJ's Fish and Chicken on Knoxville Road (HW 40) 5 or 6 miles south. Easy drive down that street to downtown Peoria. Saw a show at Scottish Rite cathedral...excellent sound, beautiful old building.

Whirlpool tub in room needed some repairs to the drain and minor other repairs and updates need to be done. Bed was comfortable. The location was convenient easy off the interstate. Overall it was good for the price.
