The bed was really comfy and the fridge a great size. Cons- the towel in bathroom is placed right above the toilet paper . Our room did not have a microwave in it luckily our friends room did. The pool and hot tub the 1st day felt a bit slimy. The hot tub gets closed down around 8pm. The pool the first night was closed at 930 and the 2nd night at 830. The hot tub was never opened on our 3rd morning. The rooms do not get serviced even if requested. When we walked down to exchanged our room towels... they gave us pool towels instead which are much smaller and less in quality. Bring your own garbage bags because you only get one small bag for the bathroom and one for the room. Also if you plan to grill you should call ahead to make sure propane is available.

Not clean, dead roaches behind the bed, towels and wash cloths not clean spots all over them. Cable went out the last night of my stay. Just horrible. It definitely wasn’t a hotel what I stayed in was a motel. I paid 391.00 it definitely wasn’t worth it!

Truly, not sure why there were so many high ratings for this property. It wasn’t the worst but not much higher than that. The room needs a deep clean; baseboards are dirty, the windowsills were dirty…I could go on. Also, the ac was not working properly and I found numerous hairs on the bedding. I wouldn’t recommend this place to others especially at an almost $ 200 price point.

The staff were nice and helpful. The location was fine. Noise really wasn’t an issue, and I didn’t feel unsafe. However the condition of the property was very disappointing and a big difference since we were there about 7 years ago. The rooms were just not kept up with. I mean thankfully the shower and toilet were clean. The beds were clean and comfortable.i did remove a pillow off of one of the beds though due to stains all over it. The carpets looked super worn and dirty. The walls were messed up. They were either scuffed up, dirty, white areas that were obviously fixed up but not painted over, and obvious paint touch ups (unless those were also dirty areas. The coffee machine wasn’t cleaned. Kind of smelled like a basement and there was a container of damp raid which is to help prevent mold. All these things just made me very skeptical and eager to go back home. Too much chlorine in the hot tub and everything. Bouncy house was no longer there but had a feeling that would be the case and frankly the least of our worries. Furniture like the chairs were extremely used as they were scratched up/fading. The pictures online are just no longer accurate. Due to the great experience we had before when my oldest was little and somehow the great reviews I thought it was a no brainer to go back but not after that—sorry!

While room was clean, the beds were fitted with extraordinarily uncomfortable firm mattresses that made for a "hard" sleep and soreness upon arising. Had we been staying in the area for more than a night we would have relocated. Also, there was what sounded like an annoying not in the room HVAC pitch-changing droning that was disconcerting. The TV was about a 24 inch model and bottom line. The coffee pot provided was not suited for a single cup make. Rather, it was a small decanter type designed to be used with a filter and loose grounds.Though a coffee packet, used in a traditional hotel single cup maker, was provided. We did make do, however.

Better than Good but not Excellent. Perhaps they are just starting out? The room has clearly been renovated and is fine. Amenities are sketchy - no shampoo. Wi-fi is VERY slow and I ended up just using data. There is a rack but no hangers for clothes. And the hot water in the shower is only lukewarm. But overall it is an ok place to stay and I would stay again.

Well if you like noise from the roadside it’s for you complained about none existent WiFi nothing happened altho we stated 4 nights - shower was cold thermostat requires adjustments … I should be offered a refund on some of the cost

Property was convenient to Mt Moriah trail head with some conveniences nearby. Room was ok. Beds were comfy and the bathroom was clean and updated BUT the tv remote didn’t work right, the microwave didn’t heat well and service was non existent. We needed more coffee cups and such. No one around and it was 5pm.

There was a problem with my TV so the staff quickly upgraded me to a larger room. My room was very comfortable, warm and clean. It was an easy walk into town with a choice of eating establishments. There was also a convenience store right across the street. Even though the motel was close to the road it was very quiet. The price was also very reasonable since it was past foliage season. I will definitely stay here again.

As I drove through the carport I had some reservations because the exterior looked a little rougher than I expected as represented by their pictures. Everything in my room through was in great shape including a new, or almost new air conditioner. Everything was very clean. Probablythe most notable eventwas the check-in itself. I swear I was in and out of the office in 30 seconds! They had everything prepared before I arrived. Spectacular!

When checking in no one was around? You had to call a phone number that was posted on the desk and the staff came after a few minutes. Room was OK but loud road noise. No Hair Dryers in the rooms which is odd. I have to use one every day so it was not great.

The property was nicely kept and the staff was very nice and friendly, but once the weekend crowd showed up it got very busy. Parking became a bit of an issue after Friday. Road noise is a thing (to be expected so close to the road & down town). All in all a nice place, but I think we’ll opt for something in the woods for next year.

Booked this place based on pics and reviews submitted by other reviewers. When we arrived we had a hard time seeing the office because it was poorly lit and it was only 7 p.m. After finding the office we asked for a roll of quarters so we could complete our mission of doing laundry and they were out. They were also out at the local laundromat just a few blocks down the street but that’s a separate review altogether. The room we stayed in was a handicapped accessible room with 2 queen beds. The shower had a curtain that didn’t even come down to cover the shower so water sprayed onto the floor - the old shower hooks were left on the rod, the toilet paper holder was rusted, the towel bar was held up by what looked like Elmer’s glue and staples, and there was a blank spot on the wall where a picture used to hang with command hooks still in place. The icing on the cake was that were on the bottom floor and the people in the room above us must have been practicing for a clogging convention - the stomping didn’t stop until 3 a.m. I had to sleep with noise canceling earbuds and even that didn’t block the pounding from above. The walls seemed very thin! There was no complimentary breakfast offered and quite frankly I wouldn’t have opted for that after seeing the room anyway. Charged way too much probably because the leaves were peaking in the area - no way I would even pay half of that amount again! The only nice thing was the room did actually appear clean and beds okay.

For our needs this was a great property! The room was clean and had been recently painted. The carpeting and fixtures all seemed to be recently updated. The room was small, but had everything…tv, fridge, microwave, coffee maker. The shower had good water pressure, and the bed was comfortable! We did receive a call from the front desk at about 4 asking if we were still coming in that day and what time we planned to arrive. We rolled in at about 6:30, and I noticed the office hours on a sign to show 8am-8pm, however there is a number available to contact the owners and we were told they are always on property. If you plan on arriving late, you may want to let them know. The front desk clerk was also super helpful in suggesting places to eat, and I can only imagine the selection will be great after everything opens in the area for the season. They are also conveniently located across the street from a good convenient store/gas station. Would stay here again!

Great place to stay while we hiked in the White Mountains. Roughly a ~40 minute drive to some of the hikes we did, but an easy drive. Wifi was a bit spotty & the road was a bit loud, but didn't impact our stay at all since we weren't in the room too much. Great food spots all around for breakfast, lunch & dinner.
