Staff were friendly and nice! Very accommodating to both my dogs. Room was clean and nice. Some wallpaper was bubbling but it honestly didn’t bother me. Loved the secure easy access to the building. Hotel was right next to a beautiful memorial park and very easy to get to the civic center. Pool was beautiful even though I didn’t get to use it due to weather. Looked like the pool was handicap accessible with a lift. Breakfast was amazing every morning with lots to choose from. We definitely will be back

This is a very good Residence Inn. Importantly for me, it’s pet friendly. Despite having pets in the building, the rooms we have been in (5 stays), hallways and common area have no pet smell to me. My dog, however, knows who’s been there. The staff are friendly, food quality of the breakfast is reasonable. Beds are comfortable and rooms are in good condition.

I always accompany my family to the breakfast at hotels and rarely eat anything. I was amazed by the offerings at this buffet. Hands-down the best hotel breakfast ever. This Marriott Residence Inn is the nicest of the Florence selections. I didn't notice the $100 pet fee when I made my reservation. That's on me but... geez. Seems pretty stiff.

Checked in late Friday night. As soon as we entered the room it smelled terrible. Went to the bathroom and the toilet was overflowing with human excrement. Clearly the room had not been cleaned properly. Went back to reception the next room had food in the sink and the fridge had old moldy food left. Clearly again the room had not been cleaned properly. At this point we rang the front desk but the girl seemed uninterested. As were with a minor we stayed in the room but asked for a full refund as we were meant to be there for 2 nights. They refused the refund until I got the Hotels.com rep on the phone with the manager. Absolutely disgusting hotel do not stay here. The next day we booked into an IHG Holiday Inn Express nearby... extremely clean and well run.

We've stayed at many Marriott properties but this one seemed run down! We were put on the fourth floor because our original room was on the first floor and I thought it might be noisy! Our new room had an air conditioner over our bed that made so much noise, the bathroom floor was dirty and the carpet also needed a better vacuuming! The breakfast looked plentiful but it was just ehh!

Had to change rooms 3 times. Ac didn’t work in first room and had garbage that was not cleaned. 2nd room the bed looked like it was slept in already and garbage in can and on floor. 3rd room had garbage in cans and only had 2 towels.

I gave it four stars because they was a five dollar parking fee that’s charged on the credit card you leave for incidentals I was not aware of the parking fee. We only stayed one night so I guess it’s five dollars per night for parking. Other than that. Everything was great. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was good. Great stay

The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. Large TV. Great location when traveling I95. Conveniently located to numerous restaurants and shopping. Front desk staff was welcoming, efficient and very pleasant. Awesome breakfast. Scrambled eggs, bacon and waffles rivaled any breakfast restaurant and kitchen staff very pleasant and helpful. We stayed at a Residence Inn in Waco, TX recently and had the same excellent experience. We will continue to stay at Residence Inns in future travels whenever possible.

Really nice place to stay during the trip. The room is spacious and clean. Very friendly staff. The only thing what is not great - is outdated furniture- we had broken vanity cabinet in the bathroom, but other than that - we had no complaints. We definitely will use this place again

We had a wonderful stay here. The room was very nice, with a kitchen, sitting area and king bed. Nice vanity in bath. But the mattress was soft, sinking in the middle. The staff here Charon and Cynthia serving breakfast were some of the nicest people we've met while eating breakfast. They displayed and kept the food items well stocked. The breakfast was great, we had sausage, both turkey and pork, eggs, toast, waffles, pastries, cereals, with a nut and topping station, juice, coffee, milk, yogurt, fresh pineapple, bananas, apples just to name a few. It was awesome!! Will be back here. I will have to say at check out the staff person was away with a note at the front desk, "I've walked away, will return later". This was the busiest time of day check out time and they weren't there to man the station. Only negative thing to say here.

The room was like a little apartment. We traveled with a 2 year old and there was enough space for her to play and run around. The bathtub was a plus. We gave her a bubble bath. It was so far the best stay on our road trip!

Erroneously charged my credit card & I have been unable to get them to return the money. I booked & paid in full via Expedia for one night. I never even received a statement upon checkout. Expedia tried to work this out for me - they told me the hotel refunded my credit card 23 days ago, but there has not been a refund. I reached out again, but it was insisted the money was returned. I have to wonder if they charged someone else’s room to my card and possibly refunded whoever that was. I also called Marriott directly & they told me they could not help me & that I had to take it up with Expedia. What a shame… I really liked the hotel & location, and planned to stay there again as I travel thru regularly.

My kids and I stayed for two nights. We felt safe and comfortable. The women who were working at the hotel were the most polite and accommodating I have experienced at a hotel. The ladies at the breakfast area were amazing. The room was spacious and clean. The whole visit was one of our best. Thank you ladies

Arrived at 11:15 pm for a one night stay. At 3:10 am someone tried to enter our Room!!! The front desk must have gave them our key and room also! The front desk person was so obviously asleep when we arrived because he asked us our room number when we were trying to check in!!!! He must have also been sleeping when he gave our key and room to another guest at 3:00 am!!!!

I wish I could give this hotel a great review. I really liked the room. Nice breakfast. Convenient location. BUT when we checked in, the girl at front desk told us Expedia said our credit card was rejected. I was shocked and upset. She asked me for another credit card, which I gave her. We immediately contacted expedia and our credit card company. Turns out it wasn’t true. In fact expedia had sent message that room was fully paid for before we got to hotel. We went back to front desk and same girl seemed totally confused. Said she couldn’t back out transaction and we would need to speak with her boss the next day. The next day it was corrected, but if we didn’t check it out, we could have been double billed. Need to train their employees.

I called before I made the reservation to double check if they have baby beds, they said yes, I told them I’ll be checking in late after midnight, can make sure to put it in the room ? The lady at front desk said, no we don’t do that, you will need to ask the front desk at the check in!! And as I expected, no bed were there n the room and no baby bed at the front desk, the room was very dirty the sheet are super old the sofa bed is nasty !! The front desk agent refused to help or suggest any solution!! Stay away from this place, next door there better options and even cheaper

The breakfast staff were so friendly (the front desk could learn a thing or two from them about hospitality). I knew when booking that this was a pet-friendly hotel but I was happy to see that the room we were in, even though there were a few dog hairs on the sofa, didn’t appear to be worn from pets nor was there an odor of animals. The wonderful, “hidden gem” of this property was the beautiful Veterans Park directly behind the property with a walking path to it. I would certainly stay again.
