Venice Harbor 606, 2 Bedrooms, WiFi, Sleeps 4, Pet Friendly

The rental was in a great location. Had my dog and could hang in the back yard. The house was clean

This rental is an adorable duplex right on Harbor Drive which is a very desirable location in Venice. It is comfortable, bright, and has everything we need. Floors are terrazzo which I love. There is a nice lanai to sit outside. Best of all there is a private neighborhood beach just for the neighborhood residents (Golden Beach) that is only 5 blocks away. The beach is very quiet and beautiful. House is also very close to Sharky's and all of the fun restaurants and shops on Venice Ave. love it!!!

The house is absolutely beautiful - the porch is lovely and our dog loved the back yard. Glad we could bring him. The floors were filthy - the first day I walked barefoot and my feet were black!! An ironing board but no iron - It took several days to get the TV to work and we are not used to streaming....Bedroom TV never worked. Radio did not work. Bed not the most comfy and high to get out of. However, impressive that a duplex and we couldn't hear anything - it is certainly well supplied! BUT, we will not come back - much more expensive than where we used to stay on Longboat (damaged by the hurricanes)

This is our second year staying here and some of the same things from our first stay have not been addressed. Upon arrival the floor mats in the bathroom were disgusting. My wife immediately washed them as she did the year prior. There is no pull tab for the closet light in the bedroom closet (same as last year). Shelf paper in the kitchen drawers would be a good touch. The location is great and it works well for just my wife and I and our dog. The weather the first half of January was brutally bad (not your fault), so if we stay again we would be looking more like the last two weeks of January.
