Stayed 2 nights

I checked in at 3:00 p.m. and asked for a different room because the room had an awful smell. My room number was not changed in the computer and at 10:30 that night, someone was trying to get into my room with a key. The woman who worked at the desk started banging on my door and and asked me my last name. I had 2 phones in the room!! Not only was it scary and disturbing for me but for the other guests in the hotel. Totally unnecessary. When I asked them the following night, they said someone was drunk and trying to get in my room, BUT THEY HAD A KEY! AND I HAD 2 PHONES THAT COULD HAVE BEEN USED INSTEAD OF BANGING ON MY DOOR. I was in town for my mother's funeral and was exhausted. I talked to the regional manager the 3rd morning when I checked out and he said he was going to refund one night, but that didn't happen.

Staff at the hotel was very helpful and incredibly kind. Our family enjoyed the breakfast offered and our kids loved the pool and hot tub. We would stay here again.

This breaks my heart to write but I most likely will not stay here again. The staff that worked there was absolutely amazing. They were super friendly, quick to assist when needed and they are why this is a 3 star review and not a 1 star. Breakfast food was hot and good. The food and service was great at the attached restaurant as well. Now for the sad part... To whomever owns the hotel, you need to replace all of the carpeting in the hotel. Our room smelled like cat pee when you entered. Attended a reception in your event room and the carpet was black with dirt leading up to the doors.

Stayed 3 nights

Check-in was extremely slow as there was a group of girls softball players that were checking in as a team. It was 3 PM and check-in had just opened up for the day. The front desk signage said quiet time from 10 PM to 7 AM. There was intermittent loud noise from groups of younger adults that continued on till 1030. Very annoying is we had an early morning appointment. The in room, coffee supplies were not refreshed, and I had to go downstairs to grab some more coffee before heading in for the evening. As an aside, the room, air conditioner is set up right in front of the desk and chair. It makes it very uncomfortable to work at the desk in the summer with the air conditioner on. The room would have to be rearranged to place the desk on the other side of the room to avoid this or switch the refrigerator and desk. It’s possible.
