We had a wonderful family vacation. The resort is dog friendly. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. There is a kid game room and outdoor jungle gym. You can hike to the lake or drive 5mins into town. The spa area is relaxing and it was easy to get a massage same day.

Wir haben ein wunderbares Wochenende verbracht. Alles war ausgezeichnet:das Zimmer war geräumig, das Personal tadellos und das Frühstück sehr gut. Der Pool und der Spa Bereich waren äußerst angenehm und erholsam.

Hotel muito agradável ao pé do lago Fuschel. Muito sossegado e com uma excelente piscina interior além de muitos espaços verdes e acesso ao lago embora o caminho seja algo ingreme e sinuoso. O restaurante só serve ao jantar mas o bar está sempre aberto e é uma boa opção para o almoço e mesmo jantar. No restaurante não servem bebidas alcóólicas mais fortes nem um descafeinado o que nos obrigou a ir ao bar o que é incompreensível.
Hotel muito agradável ao pé do lago Fuschel. Muito sossegado e com uma excelente piscina interior além de muitos espaços verdes e acesso ao lago embora o caminho seja algo ingreme e sinuoso. O restaurante só serve ao jantar mas o bar está sempre aberto e é uma boa opção para o almoço e mesmo jantar. No restaurante não servem bebidas alcóólicas mais fortes nem um descafeinado o que nos obrigou a ir ao bar o que é incompreensível.

Arabella hotel is a unique hotel that impressed our family. Warm welcome from the reception as if you were greeted by your friends that respect you and want to look after you. We were offered as treat warm nuts in a paper bag that added on our Christmas mood upon arrival on Christmas Eve. The classic decoration and the old Austrian style was impressive but at the same time you could easily identify how well maintained this hotel is up to detail. The room was beautiful, spotless and big enough. We had breakfast pre booked and it had great selection of breakfast including freshly baked Austrian Christmas cookies. The Christmas dinner was up to Michelin star level! Super delicious. The staff were so friendly but also very professional and I can’t comment enough the person that cleaned our room as for two nights they even polished the bath and cleaned behind the bed and that explains how spotless the hotel was. Diana and Doti at the breakfast made us feel so warm on Christmas like we were with family! The swimming pool was warm enough and also very clean. The windows around the pool offer beautiful views! There was play area that our little one enjoyed as there is plenty of space and activities and games to keep kids busy. Our son was also offered a sledge to ride as it had quite a lot of snow when we visited. The location is a plus also. The only thing negative for us was that on Christmas Day we would expect a bit more festive atmosphere at the dinner.

Breakfast was best. Unfortunately place has difficulty handling crowds - especially finding parking, booking the spa, or dinner reservations. Perhaps it is understaffed because facilities seem massive. Would have been nice if pool included hot tub. Private beach was terrible - no "beach", no dock, and water was not more than 2 feet deep for 100s of meters in any direction. They should instead provide free access to the public beach next door (and provide shuttle service, the walk down/up to the lake is very steep).

Härlig vistelse! Vi tänkte spela golf där men de har ingen golfbanan längre. Tyvärr så är det golf på bilderna. Vi åkte dit för en kombo med golf och natur. Bra frukost! Maten i baren va sådär.

The property itself is excellent - set in beautiful mountains near a lake. It was comfortable (although there is nothing in the room as it has no mini bar - you need to buy items in the shop downstairs but this is ok .. they might have had issues here in the past)….The issue we had was around staffing. Some staff are excellent - we had a waiter training as a sommelier who was fantastic as were some of the people on the front desk). But - we had glass in our room floor (I cut my feet - there are no slippers in the room) and we asked the front desk to clean it - next day my wife cut her feet too) … they forgot to order the taxi we had requested (we only JUST made our flight after rebooking a taxi) … we booked two rooms and one had no air con in a heatwave … we had to change rooms as the first one was not what we had paid for … the first day at breakfast was a staffing shambles as was our service in the first evenings dinner … but the food itself was excellent) … so a lovely hotel spoiled by inconsistent staffing - I’m sure there is an excellent hotel in there - and many parts were good - but the parts that let it down really let it down which is a pity.

Das Personal im Service war hervorragend. Das an der Rezeption ist noch ausbaufähig. Nicht unbedingt für Radfahrer zu empfehlen. Kein Raum für Räder. Die Einrichtung ist hochwertig und sauber. Am Frühstück gab es nichts auszusetzen.

Amazing place with beautiful surroundings and beatiful swimming pool and great saunas. Very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Large and nice breakfast and big rooms. Very children friendly. Only problem was that it was very hot and in the room there was no air-conditioning only a ventilator. If y go in summer ask for room with air-conditioning. Also steep walk to get to lake. Little amenities in room just basic. All together excellent place.

The property itself is excellent - set in beautiful mountains near a lake. It was comfortable (although there is nothing in the room as it has no mini bar - you need to buy items in the shop downstairs but this is ok .. they might have had issues here in the past)….The issue we had was around staffing. Some staff are excellent - we had a waiter training as a sommelier who was fantastic as were some of the people on the front desk). But - we had glass in our room floor (I cut my feet - there are no slippers in the room) and we asked the front desk to clean it - next day my wife cut her feet too) … they forgot to order the taxi we had requested (we only JUST made our flight after rebooking a taxi) … we booked two rooms and one had no air con in a heatwave … we had to change rooms as the first one was not what we had paid for … the first day at breakfast was a staffing shambles as was our service in the first evenings dinner … but the food itself was excellent) … so a lovely hotel spoiled by inconsistent staffing - I’m sure there is an excellent hotel in there - and many parts were good - but the parts that let it down really let it down which is a pity.

Expedia says that the front staffs will greet you upon arrival. That did not happen. Instead, they let the guest wait for 15 minutes. There were 5 guests waiting for the check in, but the receptionist did not pay attention and kept on typing on her computer. We had a wonderful family vacation. The resort is dog friendly. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. There is a kid game room and outdoor jungle gym. You can hike to the lake or drive 5mins into town. The spa area is relaxing and it was easy to get a massage same day.

Hotel muito agradável ao pé do lago Fuschel. Muito sossegado e com uma excelente piscina interior além de muitos espaços verdes e acesso ao lago embora o caminho seja algo ingreme e sinuoso. O restaurante só serve ao jantar mas o bar está sempre aberto e é uma boa opção para o almoço e mesmo jantar. No restaurante não servem bebidas alcóólicas mais fortes nem um descafeinado o que nos obrigou a ir ao bar o que é incompreensível.

Perhaps it is understaffed because facilities seem massive. Would have been nice if pool included hot tub. Private beach was terrible - no "beach", no dock, and water was not more than 2 feet deep for 100s of meters in any direction. They should instead provide free access to the public beach next door (and provide shuttle service, the walk down/up to the lake is very steep).

Arabella hotel is a unique hotel that impressed our family. Warm welcome from the reception as if you were greeted by your friends that respect you and want to look after you. We were offered as treat warm nuts in a paper bag that added on our Christmas mood upon arrival on Christmas Eve. The classic decoration and the old Austrian style was impressive but at the same time you could easily identify how well maintained this hotel is up to detail. The room was beautiful, spotless and big enough. We had breakfast pre booked and it had great selection of breakfast including freshly baked Austrian Christmas cookies. The Christmas dinner was up to Michelin star level! Super delicious. The staff were so friendly but also very professional and I can’t comment enough the person that cleaned our room as for two nights they even polished the bath and cleaned behind the bed and that explains how spotless the hotel was. Diana and Doti at the breakfast made us feel so warm on Christmas like we were with family! The swimming pool was warm enough and also very clean. The windows around the pool offer beautiful views! There was play area that our little one enjoyed as there is plenty of space and activities and games to keep kids busy. Our son was also offered a sledge to ride as it had quite a lot of snow when we visited. The location is a plus also. The only thing negative for us was that on Christmas Day we would expect a bit more festive atmosphere at the dinner.

Ein sehr tolles Hotel mit einem tollen Wellnessbereich. Der Gesamteindruck ist super und die Lage direkt am See hervorragend. Es gibt mehr als ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten welche für Hotelgäste kostenfrei sind. Auch das Personal war höflich und zuvorkommend. Da wir nur das Frühstücksbuffet hatten, können wir auch nur dieses bewerten. Hier gab es eine üppige Auswahl an Speisen, jedoch empfanden wir teilweise die Produkte als zu trocken oder qualitativ nicht so gut (Beispiel: zu trockener Kuchen, Industrierührei statt frischem, der Lachs war kaum genießbar). Nichtsdestotrotz würde uns dies vor einem wiederholten Besuch nicht hindern.

Family trip to Salzburg was made even better by staying at this resort- the staff was kind and the location was incredibly beautiful! We enjoyed our breakfast every morning, walks around the grounds along the lake and the indoor pool very much. Truly, a wonderful resort.

A really beautiful hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Enjoyed the restaurant, the bar and the beer garden. The food was delicious everywhere, but the restaurant in particular was fantastic. Spa and pool were really nice, very relaxing and also clean and tidy. Highly recommend!
