Quality Inn Mitchell I-90

This property is a bit older. It was fairly clean. There is no elevator here.

We loved everything about this place to stay, great service, convenient location to shopping, easy parking, and nice staff. Our favorite part is the indoor pool and hot tub open until midnight and the breakfast in the morning, as well as the frig in the room. Just perfect for our needs.

Room is stained in at least 4 places on carpet. Worst is we had heavy luggage, are in room on 2nd floor and There is NO ELEVATOR

Pool and hot were great although pool was a bit cold. Room and bath were great.

The only complaint that i have is that the hot tub worked for about 4 minutes. We turned it on again and jets did not come on. It was very hot, which was good, just no jets.

Hot tub was not clean or very hot. The pool stays open until midnight, which creates a good about of noise, if your room is just two doors from the pool. People and kids ruining in and out. Our air conditioner didn't work. I let the front desk know . But staff was nice. Beds were comfy.

Clean, new, quiet. Great pool, hot tub was decent. Breakfast was mediocre. All day fresh coffee in lobby and water cooler.

The hot you jets were not working. No towels in the pool area.

Located near I90. Pool and hot tub clean and pool temp is very comfy. Overall property clean. Laundry on sight, which was great because we were 1 week into our trip and needed to wash clothes. Breakfast was good. We stayed on our way to Yellowstone and enjoyed the stay, so we stayed on our way back home as well.

Would been nice if they had a elevator, plus no ice machine at all on the second floor, so you have to walk all the way down and to the other end of the Hotel to get ice! Not a deal breaker but just would have been nice after a Long Day on the Road!

The bathroom was dirty in the corners on the floor. Bathroom door looked like it had been beaten up.

Bathroom could be cleaner. The toilet between the seat & tank was dirty and the tub floor was stained and should be cleanable.

My husband and I were both extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the property! Is it dated? A bit. But if you want a CLEAN room and decent bed for an amazing price, book it! The staff that we encountered were super sweet, too! That's (sadly) hard to come by these days.

We picked this hotel because it was near the airport. Upon arrival hotel is clean and breakfast area was clean and breakfast was good. Room was clean and spacious, but there was some mold in the bathroom caulking. Over all good stay, but maintenance needs to keep up with hotel.

After the third night in a hotel breakfast was nothing special. Front desk was pleasant. Room was clean and the bed was soft and comfortable. Towels and bedding getting a bit thin and worn. Overall good stay.

This was my first stay at this Quality Inn. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness. The staff was always available and courteous. I will return.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, but the walls could use some more insulation or sound proofing as we could hear everything above and next to us.

If it wasn’t for the housekeeping personnel (Joe) this would have been a lower rating. Upon arrival, the night clerk requested paperwork verification for my Dad’s Service Dog. As I hadn’t been asked for this in awhile (and we arrived at 0500), I was told I could just bring it in to the day shift personnel. When I brought Bella’s certification paperwork to the front desk later that day, the staff member stated that they didn’t need it. She stated that they couldn’t ask for it, and apologized for the night clerk’s actions. The room had a cracked bathroom sink, a strong chemical odor, and extremely loud air conditioner. The bathroom was very tiny. One can sit on the toilet, have feet in tub and hands in sink at the same time. If you are a larger person, it is a very tight squeeze to shut the door of the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and clean. Like I said in my first sentence, the housekeeper was excellent. As we stayed for 5 days, our room was cleaned every day. It was a complete clean and very nice to come back to every day. Joe is the best! I would recommend for a short stay, but not roomy enough for longer than 1 to 2 days stay.

It was a decent stay while passing through. Room was older and the ac unit was very loud. Breakfast space was small with limited seating.

AC was effective but loud. But I would prefer effectiveness over noise level.

Room was comfortable and even though the bathroom was a little small the shower power was great!

Room smelled horrible and ac wasn’t working very well. Not worth the price it cost for this room in the area.

No elevators at this location. Average motel breakfast of eggs, sausage and biscuits and gravy. Easy to get to off I90. Restaurants close by. Beds were comfortable.

You can tell this is an older property, but what was disappointing was the air conditioner in the room! It was extremely noisy which made you have to turn up the volume on the TV. The air conditioner barely cooled the room. It wasn’t a pleasant night, especially when even the sheet was too warm on you! Need new air conditioner!!

Too expensive for room size and quality. Bed comfortable. You could hear the people above every time they walked. Small bathroom.

I was traveling after a long day on the road. I checked availability of the hotels when it was time to stop. I found the Quality Inn and went in to book a room. When I quoted the price I saw on line, the desk clerk told me he couldn't give me that and if I wanted that I should just go and book it. He was rude and insensitive to me a a traveler. I went outside on the same site that I found the room. I clicked on it and went back inside. Instead of booking me at the Oacoma property, it booked me 44 miles east in Chamberlain (I was heading west) The hotel person could not do anything about it and was rude once again. I went across the street to Howard Johnson, told them what had happened and was greeted in a way that helped me forget the rudeness of the Quality inn. I understand that I should have checked the city, but am so confused why it booked me in a hotel far away when I was still on the site that found the hotel in Oacoma. I will not be using Hotel.com ever again (I had to eat the $100+ booking). I asked if we could transfer it form the Mitchell hotel. . .Firm NO. I will never understand how it switched me to a property that wasn't Oacoma. This is not how I hoped to b e treated. First by the reception in Oacoma and then by how Hotel.com switched cities

Traveling with family and needed an elevator…we have health issues…but the kind lady at the desk helped get our luggage to the 2nd floor

Nice facility. Best was Cara, the young lady who checked us in. Because there is no elevator I needed a first floor room. There wasn’t one available so she upgraded us to a very nice room that was available on the first floor. I come to Mitchell frequently and will return to this hotel because of her consideration.

The Concierge booked us into a room that was already occupied. In the next room there was a used cup on the carpet and the tower had a hole. The ac was very loud , the breakfast area much too small. Huge amounts of plastic waste

I never write a review...but this place deserves one because I recently stayed in a terrible hotel. This hotel was 180 degrees opposite...it was GREAT!! Staff was friendly and attentive. The room was so clean and we had enough towels. Just a much better experience compared to the last place we stayed.

Managers are helpful and constantly working to keep up property. Safety and security is well managed.

Friendly staff

It was great until I went to leave and whomever they had plowing their parking lot blocked in my car. My car sits lower and the place has stacked up snow right in front of me. The plow driver and manager both saw me trying to move snow with my snow brush so I could get out but neither offered any help. The guy plowing sat in his truck and watched.

Large clean room with space for all our stuff. Great hot breakfast eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy - really appreciate that. Super nice staff Small bathroom but plenty of counter space inside and right outside the door to make up for it. Safe area to take a walk as well. Loved it!

It was easy to get on and off the interstate. It was quiet and the beds were comfortable. It was a quick stop in Mitchell, budget friendly and made for a decent nice sleep.

The breakfast service was bad. The waffle mix, scrambled eggs and sausages were not refilled without reminding the reception and even on replacing, they were cold.

If you want breakfast might as well skip the powdered eggs. Hotel is very meh. Having a good breakfast would be an area that could make up for the outdated building.

The management cuts corners a lot. Very little healthy choices for bfast. Apples were arranged in a dirty tray and no wheat bread available. There is no water pitcher either. You will have to use tap water.

Our stay was awsome. Breakfast was perfect. It has waffles, eggs,sausage,biscuits & gravy. Also had cereal,yogurt,pasteries and oatmel. The beds were great and the room was clean. We did have a problem with our electronic key, but got it reprogrammed fast. Great location to resturants and close to the interstate. Pool was a bit cool, but was great for a hot weekend! Will stay again.
