Consistently undercooked eggs at breakfast, couldn’t get the lights turned on in the pool area and they had no towels there. Asked for two days for more towels for our room at the front, they said they would have housekeeping bring some and we didn’t get them until we were packing up to leave.

The property was average. First room we had the AC was broken abs pumped put warm air. We got moved and the room was okay, but had easter chocolate under the mattress. So obviously isn't being checked. The breakfast attendant was not cleaning tables, and people had to sit at dirty tables. Juice was very watered. The pool area has moss & algae growing on floors, dirty used bandages, even the slide stairs are covered in a dark brown viscous sediment. With other options around town we wouldn't be back.

Warning! This property charges $300 deposit to stay, if you book on Expedia. It’s almost like they want to punish people for booking 3rd party. Pool area was a mess, no towels and the hot tub was broken. Breakfast was cold and the orange juice was definitely more brown than orange. I have stayed here before and I had zero issues. This time was a different story. Also, check in did not go smooth. I don’t see why it’s such a big deal to want a receipt for the room deposit.

Hotel has gone a bit downhill since the last time I stayed 2 years ago. Hot tub broken, elevator broken, and the pool was dirty. Service was not terrible, but not what you would expect at a hotel. The only friendly staff were the housekeepers. Breakfast was not the best, waffles, eggs, weird looking bacon, and ... mixed veggies? I also found it strange that breakfast ended at 830 on weekdays. Beds were very comfy though, and rooms were clean.

Hotel needs some maintenance. It’s ok for cleanliness but could use a deep scrub. My room was missing it’s smoke detector and the gym is terrible. Most of the gym equipment out of service for some lengthy time.

Very nice ladies who checked me and out. Pool water was murky, floor in pool room is dirty. Rooms were clean besides some black powder on the toilet bowl, thought maybe it was a cleaner? Tv channel options were good. Breakfast options were very minimal. Montanas next doors was so convenient.

We have stayed at this property before but were disappointed on this last visit. The toilet and tub in our room were not cleaned well, the waterslide stairs were very grimy, the toilet at the pool was covered in fecal matter, and the tables at breakfast were not wiped clean.

The Comfort Inn and Suites is a fantastic place to stay. The location is central to either Edmonton, or into the downtown area of Fort Saskatchewan or beyond. The king suite was comfortable and clean. It was very modern and we enjoyed our time while in the suite. It had separate sitting area, two tvs, excellent wifi, kudos for comfort. The daily breakfast was the usual offering, but were fresh and tasty. And plentiful! (Scrambled eggs, sausage, cereals etc) The staff were courteous, and we always received smiles and greeting. 😊😊

Called ahead to ask how much the hold on the card is because I wanted to pay in advance (Expedia) and after being told to call back at first, I was then told $100 for the hold. When I got to the hotel, I was informed it was $300 hold because I paid through Expedia. It would have been nice to be informed of this huge difference ahead of time which is why I called before I even booked. Then when I got to the room, I realized it did not match the pictures and when I asked about it I was told that the pictures online are not accurate and there was nothing they could do about it. I was there for 2 nights, and they had the same 1 staff member working everything the ENTIRE time, I do not know much about labor laws but there has to be a violation there. Not to mention it was a long weekend and incredibly busy, this one lady was working both the buffet breakfast cooking the food and the front desk and maintaining the pool all at the same time. It was chaotic. I did not see a cleaning staff once the entire time I was there, multiple times there were spills in the elevator that went uncleaned for hours and items sitting outside guest rooms for the entirety of the stay. If they were able to get better trained staff and more of them at that, this hotel had great potential for an amazing stay. So far, I will not be coming back.

Upon arrival, the clerk was on a personal call during the whole transaction, wouldn’t answer my questions. I had booked a room with a jetted tub, got a suite instead with no jetted tub. When I went back to the desk, I was dismissed and told they don’t have a jetted tub available, no apology. Even though one was available the next day according to your website, would have been a nice gesture to have been offered it for the second and third night. Or some sort of discount. The room wasn’t worth the $500+ I spent to stay there. The room and hallways were very dark, more brighter bulbs would be nice Tried to enjoy the pool, but every time I went, half the pool was used for swimming lessons. Went back to room and turned on tv to find a message no data on screen, went down to the desk again, was rudely told that you have to press 16- on the remote to get it to work because that makes total sense (sarcasm) so putting something in the room about that would be nice. I’ve stayed at this hotel before and had great service, but not this trip and I won’t be back.

We visited over a busy couple of days with the near by dance festival. The hotel was busy! The only negative comment I have, which is no fault of the staff, is how noisey it was! You could hear until late into the night other guests in their rooms and hallways. The rooms are not very soundproof which made the early mornings a bit more difficult. Otherwise, the stay was good.

It was ok, read the reviews and they were pretty spot on. $300 deposit on check in because we booked 3rd party and the pillows are terrible! Those pillows need an upgrade 100%. Small, square and very lumpy & hard. All 8 in the room. No extra pillows in room. I think the beds were also doubles, not queens. They seemed smaller than a queen. The pool however was great, the slide was a hit and those kids would come out like rockets, they had a blast. The property has dated decor and dark however it was very clean. Didn’t get to try the breakfast.

Hotel was clean. Room was clean. Pillows absolutely sucked. They were the size of throw pillows and were so uncomfy. The pool, hot tub and waterslide were great. When we got there they had a birthday party going on in the pool and all the little ones shrieking was to much to handle. Went back to the pool after they left and it was much better. This hotel hosts kids birthday parties so the pool isn’t only used for guests. Hot breakfast was good. No complaints other than pillows and loud kids in the pool (which isn’t hotels fault)

The room was ok temperature wise when we checked in but left to go to the pool upon return couple hours later it was getting warm I turned the thermostat down and had no effect I went down to front desk I was told to unplug and wait a bit , put thermostat to 70 as it may be trying to freeze itself and we did and air conditioning still did not work but continued to make noise. By this time grandson fell asleep and wasn’t going to move room. Unit make lots of noise all night

Was given the wrong room. we booked a kitchenette and was told when we got there There was none available. And they wouldn’t do anything to fix the error. We booked back in May and was told the reservation was only booked the day before. We stayed in Fort Saskatchewan because of the cost of the kitchenette rather than in Edmonton which is where we wanted to be. Tired to get a refund and was refused so we ended up staying out 3 nights booked with wasted food because we didn’t have a kitchenette. Very disappointed with the service here. No care was given for us and we were over 2000kms from home.

Cancelled our reservation and many others at last minute to get more money. (Lied and Sayed it was a gas leak then a water leak) Scammer hotel. Every customer should be treated equal. Will not deal with them again. Never trust someone that going to put you on the street for the almighty dollar. Wont even refund me after they did this to my wife and I.

I was not prepared for this hotel to require a full charge amount for our stay when I have paid through Expedia. As well, front staff were not personable and with check-in provided minimal details on why they needed by card payment and why they were pressing numerous buttons on the atm machine. In check out, I had asked for a copy of all the mastercard statements to ensure that I receive my "full payment deposit", I was refused saying that I will receive my receipt from Expedia only! Our stay was wonderful, breakfast served as great, however, the payment and refusal to provide me with any documentation left me uneasy. Why couldn't I get a printed receipt from their end as well as expedia?
