The hotel’s location is excellent and definitely its strongest point. However, considering the price charged, the overall experience felt underwhelming. The rooms are quite small, there is no turndown service, and the staff could be warmer and more attentive. Breakfast is fairly simple, despite the beautiful view, and many basic items are charged separately. What disappointed me the most was the constant feeling of being charged extra for everything, almost like staying with a low-cost airline rather than a luxury hotel. Even simple requests such as asking for cutlery or plates to the room came with additional charges. For the rates this hotel charges, the overall service, room comfort, and guest experience should be significantly better.

Loved this quiet luxurious and bright hotel near the Villa Borghese. Well situated for travels on foot and nearby to good transport links. The area is well served with restaurants, but there's no need to leave as the Hotel Restaurant is top notch, specialising in flavours of Rome. The rooftop terrace has spectacular sweeping views over central Rome and is a great spot to watch the sunset with a drink. The rooms are extremely clean, well appointed and have amazingly comfortable beds. Loved the bathroom with it's giant walk in shower with a rain head. Breakfast buffet was included, and excellent. Additional cooked options are available for an additional charge. The staff team are friendly and engaging and demonstrate pride in what they do. Four nights wasn't enough and we will definitely be back.

Really enjoyed our stay at Sofitel Rome. Great walkable location. Beautiful rooms and view. Hotel staff very helpful and the breakfast was amazing and included. Will definitely recommend.
