Apesar disso, atendimento excelente, possibilidade de café da manhã para viagem nos dias que saíamos cedo, além da possibilidade de guardar bagagem. Me hospedaria novamente!!

Pretty building, in a good location. But security safe was not bolted down, and the receptionist had to let you in and out, which could be a safety issue as well as inconvenient. Could hear people coming and going in building and on street, bring earplugs. Breakfast was good.

Superou as minhas expectativas. Quarto excelente, além de "comfy" totalmente amplo com saleta e uma sacada, com vista para um pequeno sitio arqueológico inka. Achei de bom gosto as amenidades, café da manhã, muito bom, sobretudo pelo omelete com queijo, presunto e azeitonas pretas que eu comia todos os dias, sem falar das frutas e cereais, sucos, pães, entre outras coisas. Saia para.fazer passeios mas logo queria voltar para curtir o hotel. Não faz falta um frigobar, pois o clima é frio. O aquecedor de ar, funciona muito bem, assim como chuveiro e secador de cabelo. Tv a cabo e cama mega confortável completam os detalhes. Ah, e se você tiver passeio pela manhã eles preparam um "petit café" para levar. O hotel boutique Gold fica bem pertinho da pedra dos 'doze ângulos" na rua lateral da catedral de Cusco, em uma pequena ladeira (nada que não se alcance) como uns 200m. Rua estreita bem fofa, com vasos, restaurantes e lojas intimistas adornando a pequena viela. Sem esquecer de mencionar a lareira no salão de café, um must Perfecto! Viva el Peru!!!!

Everything was perfect.. I am so glad I found this..Before this, I was staying at another hotel in Cusco at the same nightly rate but found that extremely underwhelming..This is a hidden gem, great views from the room, the staff was very kind and helpful..Miguel went out of his way and helped me book my tours.. Soledad from the breakfast staff was also very warm and friendly.. The WiFi is fast and the breakfast is good.. There is also a mini fridge in the room and 24/7 hot coca and muna tea in the lobby.. The only downside is the walk up the road to the hotel, that can be a little bit of an exercise for a few mins..

Staff at the property were very friendly and helpful, the building has a lot of character, and in a good position to the historical centre. The downside is the steep walk back up the hill to reach the hotel, but that’s Cusco!!

Absolutely loved this place. The staff were friendly, offered services like laundry, even a small Breakfast to go when I had to check out at 4:30am. Hotel is clean, rooms are beautiful. 5-10 min walk to the centre. Very close to all areas.

Nice hotel. Highlight was the excellent breakfast. Loved that they made it to order.Fresh cut micked fruits, egs to order, Bread, fresh juice etc... Best breakfast I have had in the entire trip Staff were very helpful in organizing Taxis, storing luggage after check out, cleaning the room. They were very responsive to questions Only thing misleading was after I booked the room, the picture on expedia shows the room spacious with a couch in addition to the bed. We rented 2 rooms and this was not the case in either of the rooms. There was just a bed.

Great stay. Nice room with heater. Excellent concierge service. Very helpful and informative in helping us get around. Reasonable laundry rates and even packed us a to go breakfast when we had a very early tour. Located on an adorable side street close to amenities but quiet from the hustle and bustle of the square. Hot water was hit and Miss but that has been at all our stays in Peru so I think it’s how it goes. Highly recommend.

O hotel está bem localizado, próximo da Praça das Armas. A estrutura é boa e o staff do hotel é excelente! Os quartos são grandes, bem como os banheiros, e a limpeza é ótima! As únicas coisas que precisam de um ajuste são: 1- o aquecedor é mal posicionado nos quartos, gerando um calor muito forte em um lado da cama; 2- a acústica do hotel é ruim… se escuta tudo, inclusive alarmes de celular que estão muito longes. Além disso, vimos muitos hóspedes sem noção falando muito alto às 3, 4, 5h da manhã! Cabe ao hotel chamar a atenção desses egoístas que não se importam com as outras pessoas que querem descansar!

The rooms are beautiful, we reserved a standard room for one night, and it was very nice, big and clean, the remaining nights we reserved a superior room, and it was much nicer and bigger room with fridge and a beautiful city view. Juan at the front desk was very friendly and helped us with all our needs during our stay. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Staff was friendly, room was clean, breakfast was tasty and served in a cute area. Close to sacsayhuaman, 12 angled stone, and a few plazas. A nice restaurant right across the street. Not the most soundproof, so earplugs may be beneficial for light sleepers. But overall great value for the price and in a convenient and walkable location.

We highly recommend this property. We had a large room with lovely views of the surrounding area. Comfortable bed, hot water, heater, and delicious breakfast with fresh fruit and juice, hot chocolate, yogurt and cereal, eggs with cheese, egg, ham and avocado. Yum! The location is 10 minutes walk to main cathedral/Plaza Armas and San Blas. Wonderful narrow streets with local eateries, massage, views, churches and squares with fountains. So lovely!

We stayed twice at this hotel, first for a few days before our Inca Trail hike and then after our hike. In our first booking in #17, we were dissatisfied. The unit was large with a sleeping area and a separate living room with couch. Unfortunately, only the sleeping area had a heating unit so once the sun went down, the living area was unusable and had to be closed off. The bathroom in this unit is furthest from the heater and it also gets cold most of the day. On our return from the Inca Trail, we were checked into #15. This unit was actually smaller with a combined sleeping area and living area. But now the entire thing was heated and fully usable. This definitely was more of what we expected and we would rate this part of the stay Very Good. For both times, there was a quite good breakfast with an adequate variety of options to choose from. And they offered to make a travel pack if you would miss breakfast due to an early start. On this front, it was all quite satisfying. It\'s hard to give an overall rating. It is a budget choice and the second stay was better than expected. But it is a little disconcerting that the quality of stay depended so much on the specific unit we got, especially since both times we booked the same "class" of room. So whether you are happy or not might depend on what specific unit you end up with.

Unfortunately, only the sleeping area had a heating unit so once the sun went down, the living area was unusable and had to be closed off. The bathroom in this unit is furthest from the heater and it also gets cold most of the day. On our return from the Inca Trail, we were checked into #15. This unit was actually smaller with a combined sleeping area and living area. But now the entire thing was heated and fully usable. This definitely was more of what we expected and we would rate this part of the stay Very Good. For both times, there was a quite good breakfast with an adequate variety of options to choose from. And they offered to make a travel pack if you would miss breakfast due to an early start. On this front, it was all quite satisfying. It\'s hard to give an overall rating. It is a budget choice and the second stay was better than expected. But it is a little disconcerting that the quality of stay depended so much on the specific unit we got, especially since both times we booked the same "class" of room. So whether you are happy or not might depend on what specific unit you end up with.

There is coco tea on site for free and can buy large water bottles. The breakfast was very basic so wouldn’t recommend but they gave breakfast boxes for early starts which was nice. Netflix was unreliable in general, the internet worked well on the phone but not the TVs. I would also recommend ear plugs, walls are thin and could constantly hear fireworks. The hotel is in a very good location only about a 3 min walk from the main square . The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite simple and a bit outdated but of course very reasonable for the price . Breakfast is ok but could have a bit more variety . Unfortunately the internet is terrible . Overall a good option for a 2-3 day stay when internet is not imminent.

Gold Gardens is in a fantastic location, very close to the Plaza de Armas. The entire staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was made to order daily and they asked about our plans each day to make sure we had time to have breakfast and get out the door on our tours. They also recommended excellent restaurants. We really enjoyed staying at Gold Gardens and would definitely return.

The property is located in a steep hill, which I have to say makes it more quiet, but it was difficult for Taxis and cars to get there. Beside sthis, the place is perfect. Staff is super nice and are always willing to help you with anything and everything. They only serve breakfast wich is super nice and delicious, healthy options and very complete. Less than a block away is this perfect little restaurant called New Garden. I tried almost every meal in the menu and I super recommend it for lunch and/or dinner options.

Best breakfast I have had in the entire trip Staff were very helpful in organizing Taxis, storing luggage after check out, cleaning the room. They were very responsive to questions Only thing misleading was after I booked the room, the picture on expedia shows the room spacious with a couch in addition to the bed. We rented 2 rooms and this was not the case in either of the rooms. There was just a bed.

Hotel was beautiful, room very spacious with an amazing view of the city. Juan & Tony were always an extra mile to help and make our stay unforgettable. Definitely recommended , just a heads up to people with mobility issues, the location of the hotel is central but in a very steep street and taxis will drop you 2 blocks away. We are in the 60’s and for us was challenging. Other than that, the place is very cozy and the staff excellent and the breakfast delicious. Thanks!

My partner had a medical emergency and they were extremely helpful and it just felt like we were taken care of here ! A must stay in cusco!
