The second best mistake I’ve made! I was trying to book in Clarksburg WV, but booked Clarksville by mistake. I decided to go anyway as the place looked so charming. We had a great stay and loved the place. The proximity to Clarksville made dining easy. The rooms in this genuinely historic building were gorgeous and beautifully furnished. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was amazing. Highly recommended!

Amazing updated home (once a boarding school) with the modern conveniences while keeping its integrity. Super comfortable. What a wonderful place to stay! I typically do not stay in bed & breakfast type places, but this one hit all the marks. The property was very well kept, and Martijn was attentive and gave me a lot of information upon my arrival. I was able to provide a dietary request for breakfast, which added to my overall enjoyment.

We truly enjoyed our stay. This bed and breakfast was like nothing we had ever experienced before during our travels. The owners were so warm and kind. Each morning we woke up to the smell of fresh brewed coffee and fresh baked bread. The Dutch inspired breakfast each morning was exceptional. The room we stayed in was very clean and beautiful. We plan to return.

This is a very nice B&B located conveniently to the attractions around Kerr Lake Reservoir . It is owned and operated by a couple from the Netherlands who sprinkle a little Dutch into the breakfast. The house was a pre-civil war Tobacco Plantation home. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable and Martin, our host was very attentive and helpful. I would rate it a very good value

We were greeted by Martin, who gave us a little history of the house then showed us around. Our room was roomy and comfortable. Decor was interesting with items from different countries. The breakfast was wonderful, soufflé , sausage, fresh fruit and homemade bread. a great place to stay.

Fabulous experience! Greeted and welcomed at the door, loved the hospitality. The breakfast was delicious, danish bread and cheese were faves along with the strong coffee. The house is beautiful and the room big - we stayed in Miss Emily’s suite. Far above staying at a hotel - host was very knowledgeable about the area, and we loved that they brought the Netherlands into the experience too. Definitely 5*, highly recommend.

This place was nothing short of amazing. From check in, the room, the property, history, the hosts, the other guests and the food. I left feeling as if I had a whole set of new friends. We did not get to fully experience our stay at this lovely place. We weee suppose to go to a rock festival but it got cancelled. The owners were very kind, sweet and caring. They went above and beyond to get us to stay but we were just too disappointed not going to the festival which we had been looking forward to for a long time. It had nothing to do with the stay. I was reallllllly looking forward to their breakfast!m and sleeping in the beautiful room they provided us. If I ever visit Clarksville again, that’s where I will be.

The second best mistake I’ve made! I was trying to book in Clarksburg WV, but booked Clarksville by mistake. I decided to go anyway as the place looked so charming. We had a great stay and loved the place. The proximity to Clarksville made dining easy. The rooms in this genuinely historic building were gorgeous and beautifully furnished. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was amazing. Highly recommended!

This is a very nice B&B located conveniently to the attractions around Kerr Lake Reservoir . It is owned and operated by a couple from the Netherlands who sprinkle a little Dutch into the breakfast. The house was a pre-civil war Tobacco Plantation home. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable and Martin, our host was very attentive and helpful. I would rate it a very good value

Amazing updated home (once a boarding school) with the modern conveniences while keeping its integrity. Super comfortable. Our experience was perfect. The room was beautiful, great bathroom, independent air conditioning, very comfortable bed. The best was the breakfast, very fresh, great flavors. The hosts are very awesome friends. Can't wait to return. Definitely a 10 out of 10

What a wonderful place to stay! I typically do not stay in bed & breakfast type places, but this one hit all the marks. The property was very well kept, and Martijn was attentive and gave me a lot of information upon my arrival. I was able to provide a dietary request for breakfast, which added to my overall enjoyment.

We truly enjoyed our stay. This bed and breakfast was like nothing we had ever experienced before during our travels. The owners were so warm and kind. Each morning we woke up to the smell of fresh brewed coffee and fresh baked bread. The Dutch inspired breakfast each morning was exceptional. The room we stayed in was very clean and beautiful. We plan to return.

Our stay here couldn't have been more perfect. My husband wanted to cancel the second leg of our vacation and just stay here. The accommodations were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. Breakfast was so impressive and filling. Our hosts were extremely gracious and accommodating. We have told everyone that we know to book a stay here!
