It was a perfect location to everything and a very reasonable price. They do not service the rooms but for 2 nights that was fine. It was perturbing to have no coffee pods for the very fancy coffee maker in the coffee’s lounge’. Will def use this place agwin

In centre of city with shops, transportation, culture & nightlife close by. Room was at rear of property overlooking an access road & looking onto another property. There is a common area to eat or relax but sometimes this was closed off due to meetings. Only way to access this area is via the lift as the corridor was used for left luggage. Staff were helpful & communication prior to stay. Front desk seemed always staffed which was beneficial as arrival was delayed by 15 hours due to cancelled flight.

The hotel location is great, right in front of QVB and next to the Town Hall. The staff of the hotel was very helpful and the room was according to the description (small but with all you need). Breakfast is not available but there is a lounge at the ground floor with coffee, cold water, microwave, oven, etc

This hotel is in a very good location just opposite the back entrance to the QVB. Although there is no cafe or room service in the hotel, the nearby QVB contains various cafes that offer a good range of foods throughout the day and it is part of the main Sydney shopping area. The hotel room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was quite large, although the bathroom basin area was fairly small. We would have liked a second bedside cabinet and reading light, as there was only one. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and access to the hotel was easy via the Light Rail.

The location is excellent, right across from the Queen Victoria Building, Tram, Train and Bus stops. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made the stay all the more enjoyable. If you are parking, don't use the parking garage recommended by the hotel. There is a Meriton Suites Hotel parking garage that has a flat rate of $22 per day, with no need to drive out each day. It is on the corner of Kent St and Liverpool St. We left the car there and picked it up five days later with no worries at all. It's a bit of a walk but saved us nearly $100. The only other thing about driving/parking is that there is no place to stop outside the hotel as it fronts onto a busy bus road, so parking at eh Meriton Suites and then walking the 5-8 minutes with your luggage is the best bet.

The WiFi was everytime unstable. The room wasn’t clean correctly : mugs don’t clean, bathroom dirty, no shelf in the bathroom, incredible, no coat rack aswell, but perfect location in the Sydney CBD. Our door wasn’t completely closed twice in our seven dans stay, when we came back after our day trip.

十分綺麗でしたが、ベットの下には以前の滞在者が残したゴミが残っていました。海外でよくあることですが。スタッフの方は明るく気さくで、対応はとても気持ちよかったです。バスローブ、スリッパはありません。立地はとても良く、すぐ近くのスーパーでは、リーズナブルな食料も調達出来ます。小さなホテルですがコスパ的にも大変満足しました。

The family room facing the back of the hotel was very quiet and comfortable. The beds were very good and sleep quality was great! The air conditioning was very good and you could sleep well without the air conditioning on, it was a lovely temperature at night. The bathroom was tiny, much smaller than I have experienced in Sydney and the rainfall shower head did not work but it was adequate. There was a fridge and tea and coffee in the room. The staff who was on reception on our arrival of Sunday 16 November were not warm and welcoming like what I had read about in reviews, The woman couldn’t find my booking for a while and just handed over the room cards, transactional but without warmth or smiles and no information like that there was a lounge, I only found out about that at the end so never used it. . I had read slippers were available in the room but they were not and when I asked she said slippers? No not anymore, even though in the elevator it said you could get some for $2. Cost cutting is evident, no facecloths, no daily bed making. The room was quite clean but details were left out like the glass doors needed to be cleaned. I might stay again for the quality of sleep and location to the beautiful QVB.

I chose this hotel for its central location. My major disapointment was the room. It was not what is shown on the web selection. yes it was compact room but it did not represent what i saw on room selection. We did speak to reception desk and questioned if there was a mistakes in the room we received. We pointed out that photos of room that we chose was nothing like it. Regretfully our complaint did not result in satisfactory conclusion. So I did feel cheated as false representation and advertising is just not right. On happier note the location proved terrific, staff was nice and welcoming, room was clean.

It's not a bad price for the centre of Sydney, but you definitely get what you pay for. The bed basically touched three walls in the room and it was definitely 'no-frills'. For this hotel to have such a good rating I am very surprised. The worst thing was the noise - the doors have very little soundproofing so you could hear people slamming doors all night and the elevator saying "going up" might've invaded my dreams a few times.

We had a lovely stay, the staff greeted us everytime we walked in and out of the hotel. The room was great, we came back to our room at then end of our day everyday to new towels and bed made. The location can’t get better, easy access to trams, trains and buses. Special thanks to Christine and Midia for your amazing service 😊 Would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone

So happy with my choice of this hotel. Location was perfect - right near Town Hall station, and the State Theatre where I attended a show. All staff were wonderful - friendly, efficient, obliging and helpful - a credit to the hotel. The free breakfast packs were a nice touch, as was the discount for cash. My room was comfortable and pleasant, with everything I needed. Won't hesitate to stay here again and recommend it to friends. Ticks all the boxes for a lovely stay in Sydney.

It was the worst hotel I’ve ever been to. The moment we walked into the room, the air was stale and unbearable. The air conditioning probably hasn’t been on for days and when the front desk measured the temperature it was up to 28 degree Celsius. The air control wasn’t working and being there for not even 30 minutes my mom had a major asthma attack. The front desk wasnt even able to fix the air. They wouldn’t offer another room. We had to check-out and find other accommodations. The front desk saw the difficulties my mother had and just didn’t care. We got no refund or even any sort of courtesy. WORST SERVICE EVER. After weeks of back and forth just a notice from Expedia that they hotel wouldn’t do anything to make up for their horrible hotel and the misrepresentation on the website.

My room was literally next to the lift so I can hear all the noises when people goes out and in. Prior to arriving, I made an overseas call to make sure my booking is okay as hotel.com are not willing to help with some concerns. One of the YEHS staff whom I was able to spoke with downright rude. She hang up on me while I was talking to her. I told her Im calling overseas and my concern was urgent. After she hang up the phone I called again to make sure my booking was settled. She still gave me the same attitude. She doesnt have basic manners and basic customer service. I have since given nore details directly to the hotel management as Hotel.com doesnt seem want to post bad reviews. That being said, the reception was fairly nice when I have arrived and assisted me the best she can.

I wanted a single room close to Town Hall Sydney and the locaton was perfect. My flight was early, I couldn't get into the room, but checked in, left case and got a call when it was available. Seems I was upgraded to an Executive, so that really made feel special. The complimentary bottle of wine was also a very pleasant surprise for me too! All the reception staff made we welcome and greetem me each time I came or left the hotel. I will be staying there next time I go to Sydney and taking my wife too 😌

There was only minimal supplied in the way of cuterly, plates etc. When we asked for them we received paper plates and wooden throw away cutlery! We even had to ask for face cloths!

I stayed at the YEHS Hotel Sydney QVB for 3 nights - compact room that was clean, comfortable and quiet. Even though I was in a 2nd floor room that fronted onto York Street - I couldn't hear any street sounds. Very convenient location - just across the road from Queen Victoria Building, Town Hall and Town Hall station. Good value for money.

Very good “no frills” Hotel. Excellent position on York Street. Right opposite the QVB building for shopping, easy access to Town Hall Train Station and the Light Rail on George Street. Good Shower and comfortable bed. Very quiet overnight. Good Breakfast options opposite the Hotel in the QVB building. Friendly, helpful staff on Reception. Early check in was available. YEHS Hotel is centrally located opposite the QVB and an easy short walk to Town Hall Station and the Light Rail. The shops are so close by. The Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was small & comfortable small but had all we needed for an overnight place to sleep at good value. We were even provided with a free Breakfast pack. Overall a pleasant stay.

The YEHS Hotel is located in a very convenient place in Sydney. It is only a short walk to Townhall station and the Light Rail, & the QVB is across the road. The State Theatre is also only a short walk away. You have easy access to a Woolworths close by and lots of shops. Even an easy walk to Hyde Park. The room was small but comfortable and had all you needed. We were even given a free breakfast pack. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall a good value and comfortable stay.

Quaint but Basic hotel, comfortable bed, coffee and tea facilities, clean and reasonably well placed for tram to Circular quay and short walk to Darling harbour. No restaurant so needed to find breakfast and dinner. Good but quite expensive in French cafe restaurant over the road. Staff helpful and friendly.
