Our family booked a room for a week while watching a relative in a hospital ICU nearby. Several of us cycled in and out of the room during this process, and all of us were very happy with Hyatt House. It was very convenient, had nice facilities, and best of all a kind and professional staff. The parking in their garage was very easy and made our group of (mostly) women feel safe, especially since we were coming and going at odd hours. As may be expected in a downtown area, there are homeless encampments nearby, so if you are leery of that beware. The flip side of that is that the downtown area appears the be going through a process of revitalization, and there are neat shops and restaurants nearby as well. (Shoutout to Farmhaus for delicious burgers) We feel very fortunate to have booked this jewel for our stay, and a fraught family situation was made easier by having a clean reliable place staffed by kind people to return to between shifts at the hospital.

I always love staying at the Hyatt! I love the spacious suites, very quiet and easy parking in the parking deck. There’s always plenty of parking and i like how I can park close to the lobby entrance. The property is also very secure. You need to use your room key to access the floors. And the gym is nice too and has all the equipment I need. I love that check out is at noon instead of 11am. And lastly, with it being downtown off Broad Street you can quickly get to North Augusta, Washington Road, South Augusta and the interstates. Always an enjoyable stay when I stay at the Hyatt!

The property was Nice located in downtown area convenience for walking, the only thing I didn't like is you had to pay for parking in the Hotel's parking Garage I believe if you have gest at your hotel you shouldn't charge them to park there!

Helpful and friendly staff, the lobby was small and underwhelming. The rooftop bar/restaurant was nice. Not many snacks available for purchase (when the restaurant is not open). The room was a little small considering the price. The exercise room is 24 hours and has excellent equipment. The building is relatively new, however is showing sings of wear and tear. Overall it was a nice experience and I would consider staying there again, however I thought there would be more of a "wow" factor to this hotel.

Nice hotel, friendly greeter at door. parking garage easily accessible and a lot of open parking spots. Roof top bar has terrific view over Broad St. Roof top bar could have been better! Xmas decorations, flame heaters turned ON outside would have been awesome especially for a Friday / Saturday evening business. I requested but it but they weren't turned on while I was there.

The property is a bit worn down, but the room was clean. Their use and choice of air freshener is unfortunate. as soon as I walked into the room my eyes watered and I stuffed right up.

This property was not cleaned well. The chrome on the elevators is not polished, the door in the room apparently wasn't wiped down. The microwave had grease from previous guest. I wiped it off. Room 621 has a stale odor and the bathroom basin was stopped up. I think the daily maintenance is lacking. I did not think I should be charged $7.00 a day for parking. My room was changed and I appreciate that.

Very friendly check in. Room was newly remodeled and bed and pillows were comfortable, but the bathroom floor was sticky and something had been spilled/sprayed on the walls. The neighbors were LOUD-not the hotels fault, but the walls are thin. Nice dining options close by. The rooftop bar is pretty. Breakfast was delicious. All and all good for an overnight. I did let management know to deep clean the bathroom.

This property is very nice. There's plenty of free parking on the road, so we didn't use the parking garage. The staff was friendly and we checked in without a hitch. Our room was immaculately clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in.

The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was very good. They gave you a lot of options. When we arrived, the room they gave us was dirty. The garbage was still full and there was food on the carpet and the carpet was filthy. We asked for another room and they gave it to us with no problem. The second room was better.

My only negative comments for this stay was that there are alot of nats in the reataurant area and the music was extremely loud from the rooftop bar. My room was on the 7th floor and it took some effort to fall asleep.

Place is nice and clean good location downtown. Room was spacious very big shower. Room next door was having a party with music so load the walls were thumping. Notified the front desk and they turned it down for a little while then slowly started going back up until 2am. Got hardly any sleep. Breakfast was a nice spread.

The TRAIN. i known the hotel is not responsible for the train. However people need to know the train is LOUD and it blows the horn ALL NIGHT LONG. I was awakened by the horn throughout the night while I tried to sleep.

The staff were nice and professional. A major drawback is that the walls were very thin. I could clearly hear the TV and phone calls in a room next to me, as well as someone coughing and vomiting in the room on the other side of me. I’ve not had this much audibility in any hotel stay prior to my stay here.

Everyone was very nice, the omlet was super good. Only problem the card i held reservation was charged not the one I gave them and asked it to be used the night we got there. The lady at the desk when i check in Wednesday night said it wouldn't charge my debit but it did. The super nuce lady at checkout was supposed to see about getting us refunded from debit and put on charge card. Need help still no refund.

The toilet was wobbly and the sink did not drain well. When I told them about it, they said maintenance would take a look. When I got back to my room that evening everything was still the same. Also, they took my took my room key when I checked out and I was unable to get to my car on the 2nd floor parking garage. I had to ask someone that worked there to help me get to the 2nd level parking garage. I never had to give up my key before. I also was told that they could not give me a receipt. I told them that I also had parking charges. She said the receipt would only show the parking charges. I have never had these issues when I have stayed here before. I always received a receipt when asked with all charges. Now I have a $30 incidental, $96.56 room and a $126.56 room charge on my card. I think next time I’m in Augusta, GA, I will stay somewhere else.

We had to stay 5 nights at the Hyatt House due to a medical emergency in the family. We couldn’t have been happier with the property. The rooms were nice and super clean. The front desk guy David was so nice and helpful with restaurant recommendations and things to do. I would definitely recommend this hotel and if I’m ever back in downtown Augusta I know where I’m staying.

Being Dec 24th, I booked this room for my son and daughter in law since our house is small. They were visiting for Christmas. When I went to check-in @ 1:00 PM, the lady at the front desk was very rude. I know the place was not full because the rates were too cheap. I was trying to help my son and check in early. The lady said I couldn't and there would be a $25 early check in fee. In September, my wife and I had a horrible stay in Atlanta at the Hyatt. I might be done with Hyatt! Treat me like this and I may be one person, but I'll do my part to let folks know that Hyatt apparently doesn't want my business.

Some sketchiness on the street in the late-night hours (10 and later) but the hotel itself seemed safe and secure. We parked in the hotel multilevel parking garage and that seemed safe. Was really convenient to the downtown area (we were in town for a show at the Imperial Theater) and the complimentary breakfast was THE BEST I have ever had!

I loved the hotel overall and found the location convenient but felt like it was overpriced for the area. There are many abandoned buildings as well as a few homeless sleeping in doorways. I didn’t feel unsafe but did question why I paid a premium for the location after getting there.

Location is a little sketchy. When we pulled into the parking lot a homeless guy came up right to our car and followed us to hotel entrance. Very uncomfortable and threatening Once we were in the hotel we felt safe.

The front desk staff was amazing and accomodating. We had a family member in the hospital and had to keep extending our stay and they were so helpful. Our experience at the roof top bar was mixed, the bar tender was absolutely fabulous but the food was terrible. There were only 8 items on the menu and they didn't have two of the eight items offered. I ordered soup and it was cold. Our room was fabulous and clean, we loved it.

property stuck out like a sore thumb it is not a safe feeling neighborhood. Room was small feeling . Bed was uncomfortable. especially at this price point and hotel was quite noisy for the limited number of people staying there. Breakfast was ice cold and the food tasted quite processed. Tried the eggs and potatoes both were ice cold. Sausage looked unapetizing. settled for some fruit and a bagel. Glad it was a one night stay and will not return to this Hyatt.
