Awesome lodge in Fredericksburg. Within walking distance from Main Street where all the major shops and restaurants are. Staff was friendly. Free parking right outside your room. Our room was spacious and clean. Love the separate living room. Basket of breakfast in the morning was delicious. Also loved the patio with pool, although we did not get in the pool. We did sit by the outdoor fireplace one night, which was nice. Definitely a great place to stay if in Fredericksburg.

Great property. Just what we needed for a refreshing getaway. The outdoor patio and fireplace were beautiful, as was the pool. In warmer months it would be a great place to cool off. Definitely will be back again.

The room was clean, but well-used. Rustic is too generous a term for it. We had a "summer survival kit" included with the room due to our dates falling within their specifications. However, we ended up being charged for the items that were supposed to be included. The pool was warm, but one of the water fountains wasn't working. Only 16 rooms (they call them suites, but that's just an exaggeration of the crowded nature of the rooms. Staff were barely helpful, and not around except the 9-5 time period. Breakfast was served at the door in the morning, and it was definitely good. The key drop off was not secure, and I did not feel safe leaving it there, as it did not lock.

We really enjoyed the property. Opening your door to breakfast at your leisure was a wonderful way to start the day. There are a number of tables to sit out at and enjoy your coffee and breakfast. Those same tables and chairs turned into a nice spot for a quiet happy hour or night cap. Downside: not sure how often this occurs but we had a couple staying at the same time that treated the pool like an x-rated show from 5pm until at least 9pm when we packed it in. Clearly they did not adhere to the no smoking as cigarettes and pot were sparked up frequently. Unfortunately we did not feel this warranted an ‘emergency’ call and there is no onsite security. Should this ever happen again, for $300 per night, you can bet it will be an emergency. Side note the property offered nothing but ‘sorry that happened to you’

It was clean and well maintained. The office was to be open until 6pm however it wasn’t. We arrived around 5 and the keys were left in a box. A map of the town in the room would have been nice. You access the property from the back side which is dim and poorly lit.

Loved the seating area outside, perfect for an afternoon beverage or coffee with friends. Pool was refreshing and liked that there were plenty of towels for pool usage. Room’s decor was pleasing. It was a little difficult getting in and out of jacuzzi tub/shower.

This is a beautiful place. Located just off Main Street, but it feels like it's in the country. Easy walking distance to food and drink. The staff was very helpful at check-in and the room was wonderful. It was a cross between rustic and modern with a lot of charm. Furniture was old school charming instead of the usual hotel bland. The shower was exceptional, large, clean and attractive with a comfortable shower head. Breakfast was delivered in the morning in a wicker basket and was perfect. There is a pool and sitting area that will be perfect for relaxing when the weather is nice. All in all a great place to stay.

Check in was easy. Giant stairway led up to the room. The view wasn't all bad. The pool area had a sour smell. Parking lot is cramped. Found hair in our tub after filling it so had to drain and refill. Bed was comfortable. The room was very cramped. We checked out before it even got dark since my daughter started feeling ill.

Property was just as described. Very clean, cozy room (suite 12), nice staff and located just a little bit away from Main Street and all the dining, shopping, etc. Walkable to anything you need. The property does not have food/drinks onsite, but within a 5 minute walk to plenty of options. Definitely will go back.

Perfect stay for rest, relaxation and convenience. Each suite is unique, with the same hill country vibe! Great pool and common areas, just one block from main street. In downtown, but a country feel. Always my stay in Fredericksburg. Breakfast baskets can be a little redundant, some creative menus would be welcomed. Rooms are starting to feel a bit worn. Time for a slight upgrade for the price. Had worn towels... not good. Love this place, time to spend a little $$$. ❤️ see you next time... hope to see slight improvements to bring this remarkable property into 2026....!

Check in had its challenges, the room we selected wasnt given to us. The first option had us moving each of the nightsbof our stay. We had to insist that we get a room with 2 sleeping areas and finally we were accommodated. The room itself is charming, except for the fridge that was open and stuffed with towels, the broken mugs, and lack of dusting that had ever been done. The tub was a definite challenge to get in and out of as its a jacuzzi one with a rain showerhead, there was a lot of climbing and praying you didnt slip. The breakfast basket was darling that they left for you every mid morning.

This is a nice hotel just behind the main street in Fredericksburg. Staff seemed friendly. Breakfast is delivered to your room in a cute picnic basket each morning. However the property is very noisy, mainly from the pump at the pool which was just outside our door (Room 6) which just ran 24/7. But also there is no sound proofing between rooms, so we heard all the details of our neighbors romantic getaway, including the jacuzzi bathtub rumbling and also we woke up to their morning sex session. Luckily for us, it only lasted about 10 mins. We could also hear every single footstep from the floor above us. 😞

Very happy with our stay. Bed was comfy. Loved the jetted tub and soft, fluffy towels. My husband and I slept upstairs and my son had the pullout downstairs. Only negative is having to go downstairs in the middle of the night to use the bathroom.

Drive up appeal is so cute. When you first walk into the cabin, it is smaller than it appears on the website. It has a lot of chunky furniture that takes up a lot of room. When the bed sofa is pulled out, you have about 18 inches of walkway space to get to the only bathroom, which is downstairs. I would say it’s a little cramped. The king size bed was upstairs in the loft and the bedding was super cute and soft. The only negative is that the bed is really high off the ground and you have to use steps to get into it. I am almost 5’8 and I think anyone that is shorter or older, may have a difficult time getting in and out. Also, one side of the room has a slant ceiling and you have to duck once out of the bed or you will hit your head. There is only one bathroom downstairs and it is in dire need of a makeover. It has an old, very deep Jacuzzi tub, which requires using a step to get in but make sure you hold on to the sides because when wet, there is a fall risk. It is worse when exiting the tub and I would say the bathroom is small and not user-friendly. It is walkable to main street. You will have to walk up a very steep driveway to get to the road. I traveled with my daughters who are 25 and 23 and we made it work for the weekend.

The absolute BEST place to stay!! We booked a couple days in advance and weren’t sure what to expect. The area is perfect to walk to Main Street. The rooms are absolutely perfect and spacious. The bed was the most comfortable bed we have slept in!! The living area was great, but the bath area was even better. The jacuzzi tub was amazing! The breakfast was fantastic. We loved that it was dropped off every morning to the door, as we stayed with our one year old and we didn’t have to rush out to make it to a typical continental breakfast. Every meal was so tasty and delightful! I could type an entire page on how great this place was. We will definitely be back in the near future and every time we stay in Fredericksburg this will be our go to place!

Stay was great, awesome location and walking distance to everything. A couple of things to remember, If you get the lower numbered rooms they are next to meeting points. What I mean is we were room 5, about 4 feet away was 4 tables for people to talk drink etc. We could always hear people talking and laughing so that wasn't fun and every time we got are morning breakfast that was outside out door there was always people out there staring at us... Remote stopped working for the TV at 10:30 at night on the last night we were there and just didn't mess with it after. Other than that Great Time.

Very charming, including the delivered breakfasts. Would stay here again. We stayed on suite 8. It was a bit cramped. Learned while checking out suites 8 and 12 are the smallest by s.f. The other suites are supposed to be roomier.

Each room is unique. Comfortable beds and pillows. Our shower was inside a very large jacuzzi tub and was hard to get in and out of, so keep that in mind if mobility is an issue for you. I would suggest calling the hotel directly to ask about rooms. The breakfast picnic basket each morning was very good. Great location to downtown, but it is a very steep driveway to walk. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

Overall, a good stay. But holy moly DO NOT stay there if there is rain in the forecast. They need to build a bridge to the entrance. If the creek floods, you are literally stranded because there is no access to Main St. We thought about hopping the fence but decided we’re just a bit too old for that. I would love to submit the video of the roaring creek we watched this weekend with debris surging by. Yikes!!

I highly recommend! The bed is king size, the room is spacious, and the decor is Texas western with antique furnishings. The hint of lavender in the air is divine! The bathroom and shower are also spacious with top-notch soaps, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. There are extra thick towels, including a makeup removing black towel to keep lucious white towels white! Breakfast is brought to our door, a delightful amenity! Additionally, we are close to downtown shopping and museums. What a great find! I would love to stay here again with my husband. We had a late check-in made easy by our prior notification and text message by a member of the staff.

Best location in Fredericksburg. Lovely room with two person jacuzzi. Not much sound proofing, so neighbors were loud. Pretty normal for older buildings. Breakfast was lack luster and I miss eating with other people as a bed and breakfast experience since it was delivered to your room. But, the staff was very friendly and the ease of checkin and checkout was great.
