The hostel is situation close to sightseeing and transportation which is a plus. Pick up of key and breakfast takes place at another hostal. There is a terrible smell in the lift and the hostal area looks old and worn out and do not reflect the prize of the room.

Chambre confortable, propre, bien aménagée. Le seule bémol, à notre arrivée, le hall d’entrée principal venait juste d’être nettoyé et une odeur hyper désagréable y régnait. Heureusement, cela n’a pas duré .

Boendet låg centralt, 5-10 min till alla butiker låg massa restauranger i närheten vilket var fördel. Lite trist att man inte kan lägga bilen direkt utanför då det är en enkelriktad gata, man kan stå och lasta av bagage väldigt snabbt. Bilisterna har tålamod och börjar inte tjuta för man lastar av grejerna. Det finns en parkeringshus, 1€ /h bättre priser om man står över natten adressen är C. de los Relatores, 13. Nu till boende, när vi kom in så var vi lite skeptisk men när vi kom in i rummet så var det väldigt fint, fräscha rum även totalen va najs.

Alles wunderbar und sehr empfehlenswert. Es ist viel ruhiger als gedacht und die Einrichtungen sind neu und modern. Lage ist top und man kann überall zu Fuß hin. Parken kostet 25€ pro Nacht, für Innenstadt Lage aber entsprechend okay. Würden definitiv wieder buchen, Betten sind jedoch sehr weich

Das Zimmer könnte sauberer sein (Haare). Bei Ankunft funktionierte die Klospülung nicht und ist mehrmals in den 3 Tagen ausgefallen. Zugangkarten funktionierten einmal nicht.

Bonne situation, très proche d’une station de métro, on peut visiter Madrid à pied, on récupère la clé de la chambre dans un autre bâtiment situé à 2 minutes à pied. Le ménage pourrait être amélioré.

Calling this property a hostel is an understatement, from the staff, to the facilities and the room, it’s a hotel! The location is great, there is a laundry mat and a bar across the street and a metro station (Anton Martin) up the street. It is greatly located as most of the tourist attractions are just a 20 minute walk away maximum. The rooms and bathrooms were extremely clean and modern and everything was perfect! I would recommend and stay here again without a doubt!

Excellent place and great location. The attendant Jose was very polite and professional! The only problem we had was in the room 207 which bathroom was stinking a little bit probably because the plumbing was poorly constructed.

The rooms are small but new and extremely clean. There is a small fridge and safe. You have to go to another building, a five minute walk away, for reception, to check in and out and eat breakfast. Staff was very helpful.

Hostal Anton Martin is in a very good location, plenty of places nearby for meals, tapas, breakfast, coffee. Our room was at the back, so nice and quiet and little noise from other guests. Good to have air con, which wasn't too noisy and great to have a fridge. Room felt a little cramped but plenty of storage space and a decent shower in the ensuite. Very good location for Prado,Retiro and Rein Sofia and also Atocha station. Also walkable for Plaza Mayor and Metro nearby.

First of all I received text day of check in that check in was at different hotel a block away. I had to get my card from there. My actual hotel was inside a very old building that was partially renovated. The room itself was new and clean, however it was so small I could barely open 2 carry ons. The hallways with the doors to the rooms felt like a storage area and the block outside didn’t feel very safe. The front desk person however at the other hotel was very nice and helpful. However, I would not be able to stay there more than one day.

El hostal está muy bien comunicado y céntrico. La habitacion es pequeña, pero muy moderna y nueva. Limpísima. El baño muy moderno, limpio y lo suficientemente espacioso, con ducha. La cama es muy grande y bastante cómoda. Balcón insonorizado, no se escucha apenas la calle. No ocurre lo mismo con las demás habitaciones y pasillo, se escucha muchísimo. No se puede regular el aire acondicionado y no había instrucciones. En general, todo muy bien, sobre todo el personal que hace el check in-out y la limpieza. Aún así a mi me parece un poco caro para ser un hostal.

J'ai loué 3 chambres doubles deluxe. L'une etait beaucoup plus petite que les autres, moins bien équipée (pas de machine a café, pas 2e lit). L'ameublement est minimaliste : une minuscule penderie et un bureau en plus du lit (king size) La climatisation se met à ventiler en pleine nuit pendant une demi heure toutes les deux heures alors quelle est éteinte. Le batiment est bruyant (les voisins du dessus se moquent de trainer les chaises, claquer les portes ou marcher bruyamment dans l'escalier en bois à 2h du matin). C'est très propre. Le personnel est gentil et réactif. La literie est tres confortable.

Tener cuidado de no olvidar nada e intentar recuperarlo, porque me ha tocado a mí, una recepcionista, que, cinco minutos después de mi salida, volvió y, explicándome por telefonillo (porque el hostal no tiene recepción; el acceso se hace con tarjeta), me dijo que no podía dejarme entrar en el establecimiento. Que esperara fuera hasta que una chica de la limpieza me trajera mis pertenencias a la calle… 😭 asi que te quedas como un.... hasta cuando te cansas...y abandonas. La verdad que siempre he encontrado un perdonal maravilloso alli, hasta antes de ayer, cuando encontré una joven que despues de no dejarme recuperar que olvide en habitacion, despues de ir 500 m hasta donde tienen la recepción, yo claro alterado de su actitut se levanta de su silla y ni mas ni menos me responde gritandome....para hablar encima de mi. Si tenia un mínimo de formación en domenio....cuando me ha visto alterado....su obligación era hablarme en un ton mucho mas bajo que el mio para intentar calmarme, dejarme desaogarme y al final darme una tarjeta de acceso ( asi cómo lo ha hecho al final) y todo se quedaba alli. Pero que una joven me grite y se comporta de esta manera porque yo le he pagado por un servicio???....Cuando yo pago ...voy a acceptar este trato? Nunca! Madrid esta lleno de establecimientos!

Close walking to most everything. However, beware if you book this hostel room, the taxi will drop you off at the address and you will find a locked door and no instructions where the registration office is or map to it a few blocks away. Our luck, a guest was going in and we entered and used the buzzer the the main office. Same thing happened to another couple later that evening as we were going out and they had been standing at the door for a while. We took them to the offfice a few blocks away on a different street. This is not a new problem the owner wishes not to addree. A simple note and map at the door would solve this issue.

However, beware if you book this hostel room, the taxi will drop you off at the address and you will find a locked door and no instructions where the registration office is or map to it a few blocks away. Our luck, a guest was going in and we entered and used the buzzer the the main office. Same thing happened to another couple later that evening as we were going out and they had been standing at the door for a while. We took them to the offfice a few blocks away on a different street. This is not a new problem the owner wishes not to addree. A simple note and map at the door would solve this issue.

No podría ni empezar a describir lo bueno de esta propiedad . Nos hicieron sentir como en casa . Jose en recepción es de las personas más empaticas y entregadas que he conocido a su trabajo. Terminamos quedándonos más tiempo y sentíamos literal que estábamos en casa . Habitaciones nuevas , limpias que no le piden nada a cualquier hotel . Un servicio de primera , nos guardaron el equipaje al dejar la habitación para hacer un pequeño viaje . Calling this property a hostel is an understatement, from the staff, to the facilities and the room, it’s a hotel! The location is great, there is a laundry mat and a bar across the street and a metro station (Anton Martin) up the street. It is greatly located as most of the tourist attractions are just a 20 minute walk away maximum. The rooms and bathrooms were extremely clean and modern and everything was perfect! I would recommend and stay here again without a doubt!

Hostal Anton Martin is in a very good location, plenty of places nearby for meals, tapas, breakfast, coffee. Our room was at the back, so nice and quiet and little noise from other guests. Good to have air con, which wasn't too noisy and great to have a fridge. Room felt a little cramped but plenty of storage space and a decent shower in the ensuite. Very good location for Prado,Retiro and Rein Sofia and also Atocha station. Also walkable for Plaza Mayor and Metro nearby.

Nuestra estadía fue fantástica. Pasamos solo 1 noche porque seguíamos el viaje pero no hubiese sido problema quedarnos más días. La ubicación 2a estupenda, a 2 minutos del metro y a 3 minutos del mercado Antón Martín. La cama super cómoda, el aire perfecto. La habitación 209 fabulosa porque da hacia un patio interior donde no se escucha nada. Es muy moderno una vez pasas la puerta principal. El único problemas el check in se hace en la calle paralela. A 5 minutos aprox caminando pero entiendo que ya están trabajando en tener una recepción. Sin dudao recomendamos y esperamos repetir

The room was great and better than expected. The only issue was with a problematic toilet flush, which we reported. Maintenance man came quickly to check it. While it wasn’t completely fixed, we were able to take the faceplate off and use / flush as normal. The woman in reception who checked us is was incredibly friendly and helpful. When we booked, breakfast was only available in their other hostal a short distance. This was fine as our friends were staying in that hostal. We don’t book breakfast but enquired about joining our friends and we were told this was fine, which it was for the first two mornings. On the third morning, another receptionist would not allow us to have breakfast with our friends and insisted that breakfast was to be taken in our hostal. Again, at the time of booking, breakfast was described as being available in the other hostal. The person was not being at all friendly or polite. It was not an issue of language differences, they were clearly rude. We were taken aback and paid for the breakfast in our hostal. Retrospectively we should have said not to bother and gone elsewhere. This did upset us but on our last morning had breakfast in a lovely little cafe close by. We would still recommend Aston Martin as a place to stay and the location was great. The other staff were all so friendly and our room was cleaned every day.

Adoramos nossa estadia! O quarto estava muito limpo, bem cuidado e com ótimas instalações. A equipe foi muito gentil e atenciosa durante toda a nossa experiência. A localização também é excelente, próxima aos principais pontos turísticos, o que facilitou muito nossos passeios. Com certeza, recomendamos.

I rarely write negative hotel reviews, but I rely on reviews when choosing hotels, so I feel obligated to share our experience. The positives: the location is excellent, within walking distance of the Prado with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. With one exception, the staff we encountered were friendly. The breakfast was very good, and the laundry service was fast and well done. Unfortunately, everything else was disappointing. This property charges full-service hotel prices—we paid up to $245 per night—but delivers the service of a budget hostel. A few weeks before arrival we were informed we had to pick up our room key at another hostel about a 10-minute walk away. Had this been disclosed before booking, I never would have stayed here. We arrived near midnight, and I was left standing on the sidewalk with four suitcases while my husband walked to get the keys. During our five-night stay, I never once saw anyone at the reception desk. On departure, we couldn't store our luggage because there was no luggage room, so we had to drag our four suitcases back to the off-site hostel in 90° heat. The refrigerator barely cooled bottled water. When we complained, we were told, "That's as good as it gets." The biggest problem is management. They appear to be operating five hostels with one receptionist, leaving guests with virtually no on-site service. I felt sorry for the staff—they were clearly overwhelmed. Charging $245 a night for this level of service is unacceptable.
