Out of the way Gem! Colorful bright Hotel, friendly staff on arrival. Lobby beautiful, colorful and whimsical. Lots of places to sit, games and pool table to play. 24hr coffee station. Breakfast had a fun pancake making machine. The room was inviting with beautiful painted shade. Smaller than most Hilton hotel rooms but adequate. Very comfy bed. Walk in shower which is better than the usual tub/shower. The only con, needed a second luggage rack. Also, the thermostat if you set it to keep the room cool the minute the temperature goes a degree lower the heat kicks on. It would be better to divide air and heat so you can choose when you want heat. This is minor con, way more pros.

Several doors that lead outside, all with locks. Felt safe. Easy to get to car. Fantastic outdoor area that was smoking friendly. Amazing breakfast. Best part was the shower and bathroom products. Best shower I’ve had in years. Pillows and beds were comfy.

Hotel lobby and rooms were clean, we loved the hangout lobby full of games and space to eat if you want to do crock pot meals instead of eating out every night! There’s plenty of room to set up a meal and eat with friends and family. Plenty of fun games for kids and adults. Our teens loved the pool table. Only downfall that would prevent me from booking again was that the rooms were sooooo tiny. We had 2 adults and 2 kids in a double Queen and it was crammed. Also, No microwave in the room.

The room was spotless except for the shower which had a little bit of rust. The elevators were in need of a scrubbing. There was a high school baseball team staying there which could explain the elevators but I think it was just some “deferred maintenance”.

This was our second stay at this property. Both times went well! We appreciate a pet friendly place that stills remains cleanly and put together. The staff is always friendly and helpful, when needed. Their included breakfast is nice and the 24/7 coffee and tea is a great amenity. Our only disappoint this stay was the entire 2 days, there was no wifi. When we first inquired, they thought maybe internet was down in the area. Friends that live less than 10 minutes away had no issues with wifi. Not that there still couldn’t be a local error, but was some what disappointed there wasn’t any communication to guests about the lack of wifi for an extended period. Luckily we didn’t have work to do, but would have needed to make further accommodations if so.

Hotel was completely booked with lots of kids for a basketball tournament. Very noisy at night and in the mornings. Tv channels wouldn’t load, the manager at the front desk was irritated that i asked for help with the tv. She said she would be up in a few minutes to help- she never showed. Laundry facility was disgusting. Won’t stay again.

The contactless check in process was cumbersome. You have to download the Hilton app and the instructions aren't clear. Our shower wasn't the cleanest and there was some kind of makeup smeared on the bathroom door. We went down for breakfast around 9:30 and not everything was being restocked timely. The lobby area has a little convenience foods for purchase area and lots of seating options as well as some games and TVs. We utilized the pool table which was fun. The staff were very friendly and courteous. I liked that the rooms are not carpeted. Overall the stay was good.

We got 2 rooms. 1 room was good for the most part but somewhat dirty. 2nd room was horrible. Super dirty, dead bugs, hair in bathroom, half the plugs don’t work, TV is broken. Heater is broken. Room should not be allowed to be used in that condition especially for a Hilton property. Motel 6 would have been better and 1/3 the cost. On top of that when we brought these concerns to front desk, no sorry, nothing they can do except a space heater. Was told we could leave and get our money back but would have to go through Expedia to get any refund. Just disappointing. Staff is obviously not thrilled to be working there as well. Rolled eyes and attitude like it was our fault for the rooms conditions. Sad to say the least. Least 1 of the rooms was decent but still not the standards of a Hilton property.

The key to the room did not work after multiple attempts to fix it by the front desk. We had to be walked to the room each time to get in and out. The room cleanliness was poor and there was also so mold on the caulking in the bathroom. The outside patio furniture was dirty, smelled like cigarettes and had burn marks all over it.

We have stayed at this particular location several times.This was very disappointing on this day when we checked in our room had ants in it. We had a drip in the bathroom toilet and we had no hair dryer. When contacted the front desk they said they would see what they could do. Ibhad to follow up the next day to finally get things addressed

Tv size was huge!!! No local laminated tv guide list for all the tv channels. Dorm size fridge in the room. Queen size beds seemed small. The bathroom was descent size, and the shower had great water pressure! Overall the room was very clean with an open floor concept with vibrant colors! The staff was friendly and courteous!!

The rooms were small but clean. The beds are comfortable but the bedding had a bed pad for a sheet and a very thin cover, kinda strange. I had to have the key card replaced twice. It would work once or twice then quit opening the doors. I was charged twice for a one room one night stay but I called and got that straightened out, I think. I am waiting for the refund to go back into my bank. Over all not too bad just a few quirks.

Had to move because Ac was screeching. Assigned to a room that was occupied already. Finally found an unoccupied space and did fine. Try is a very convenient location for us. Hope quirks are worked out.

The room was just ok, pretty basic. Appreciated the vinyl flooring with dogs but there was no microwave or in room coffee. I requested a first floor when booking but they said none were available when I checked in. The check in staff was nice but they did a bad job of whispering to each other, that I did not get a Hilton check in bag because I booked through Hotels.com. The breakfast was not good.

I liked the property, it was a clean and creative space. What I did not like was, unfortunately, my sleep there. We were on the top floor and there was noise all night long. I couldn't switch rooms or call the front desk bc my daughter was already asleep but because of the loud noise (sounded like someone moving furniture all night) I only got 3 hours of sleep. When I talked to the front desk person in the morning they said that it is known issue with the exit door on the roof when it is windy and closes and shuts but they can't do anything about it bc only the manager had the key. Super bummed that the fun day that I had planned was kind of tiring due to my lack of sleep. Also, the breakfast options were not very good at all. I probably would not stay there again because of these two things.

They gave our room away & didnt have another to put us in so we didn't get to stay. The place looked ran down & unkept. The staff looked like they just rolled out of bed for their shift & were extremely unhelpful. Don't waste your money or time booking here.
They gave our room away & didnt have another to put us in so we didn't get to stay. The place looked ran down & unkept. The staff looked like they just rolled out of bed for their shift & were extremely unhelpful. Don't waste your money or time booking here.

Had a reservation, showed up after driving 10 hours to "sorry we overbooked there are no rooms". was told that there was an available room at another hilton hotel down the street but i would have to pay an additional $100 (as it was a better rated hotel). Worst customer service ever and i will never stay at a hilton again.

Great place to stay! Marcia at the front desk was friendly and helpful beyond our expectations. There are plenty of places nearby to grab food, too. Just short drive to KU for our visit!

The key to the room did not work after multiple attempts to fix it by the front desk. We had to be walked to the room each time to get in and out. The room cleanliness was poor and there was also so mold on the caulking in the bathroom. The outside patio furniture was dirty, smelled like cigarettes and had burn marks all over it.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating to my situation from check-in to check-out. I had a great stay! I checked out unusually early (2:20am) to catch my flight and the receptionist was concerned and wanted to make sure that I wasn't checking out because I was dissatisfied with the room. I appreciated her caring attitude. I would like to make small mention that the workout facility needed attention from housekeeping. I'll defiantly book here again the next time I'm in town. Thank you

Hotel was completely booked with lots of kids for a basketball tournament. Very noisy at night and in the mornings. Tv channels wouldn’t load, the manager at the front desk was irritated that i asked for help with the tv. She said she would be up in a few minutes to help- she never showed. Laundry facility was disgusting. Won’t stay again.

This hotel was just fine for a quick college visit, albeit not the best value on certain weekends when there’s a lot happening in town. A clean no frills hotel with good service, friendly employees, simple room accommodations, and a nice variety of breakfast offerings. The area is close to shopping and dining and about a 12 min drive to KU’s campus.

Out of the way Gem! Colorful bright Hotel, friendly staff on arrival. Lobby beautiful, colorful and whimsical. Lots of places to sit, games and pool table to play. 24hr coffee station. Breakfast had a fun pancake making machine. The room was inviting with beautiful painted shade. Smaller than most Hilton hotel rooms but adequate. Very comfy bed. Walk in shower which is better than the usual tub/shower. The only con, needed a second luggage rack. Also, the thermostat if you set it to keep the room cool the minute the temperature goes a degree lower the heat kicks on. It would be better to divide air and heat so you can choose when you want heat. This is minor con, way more pros.

The breakfast Sunday morning was minimal. All machines out of order. There was a few bread items, dry sausage, and eggs. For a weekend breakfast at premium pricing, I expected a better offering. The staff was exceptional.

The check in was pleasant, room was comfortable, but the breakfast experience was disappointing. Trach cans in the breakfast area were overflowing by 7am, the food bar was messy, with no one keeping things clean, though we saw a housekeeping person visiting at the front desk with another employee. Children had smeared syrup and spilled orange juice on the padded seats against the window. None of the tables were clean when we went to have breakfast either. It was an unappetizing experience, so we had to pay for breakfast at Panera.

This was our second stay at this property. Both times went well! We appreciate a pet friendly place that stills remains cleanly and put together. The staff is always friendly and helpful, when needed. Their included breakfast is nice and the 24/7 coffee and tea is a great amenity. Our only disappoint this stay was the entire 2 days, there was no wifi. When we first inquired, they thought maybe internet was down in the area. Friends that live less than 10 minutes away had no issues with wifi. Not that there still couldn’t be a local error, but was some what disappointed there wasn’t any communication to guests about the lack of wifi for an extended period. Luckily we didn’t have work to do, but would have needed to make further accommodations if so.
