Close to the historic district attractions. Plenty of parking (and level 2 EV chargers available). Clean with lots of room for enjoying the complimentary breakfast. Allows pets but didn't encounter any. Only issue that should be addressed for safety - the room door didn't latch easily - seemed to affect all the doors on our side of the hall, several were not shut fully as we passed.

Typical corporate hotel. Room was comfortable and clean. Free breakfast was good; they do switch it up a little from day to day. Hotel in a safe area (just don't try to cross US1!); a bit of a walk to center of Historic District, but very doable. Front desk employees consistently attentive, courteous and professional. Only negatives: pool water was ice cold, and gym was very small with only one bench available. Overall, I would stay here again.

There was a $20 parking fee for an open air space. While I realize a parking fee and valet might be necessary for some locales this was not one. Shame on Hampton Inn for charging this fee.

Excellent breakfast. Catherine was an exemplary staff member. Good laundry facilities. The only thing missing was a bar/restaurant but there is a Dennys in the Days Inn next door.

Lobby was very clean , rooms could have been cleaner upon check-in. The border around the AC unit was sticking up. It wasn’t down the way it should be on the floor. Then in the shower it creaked whenever you moved on it and you’d think you were gonna fall in but when we talked to the front desk, they said that it was cosmetic, and they would be fixing it after the holiday, but there was also a crack going up the top of the shower as well on the wall. The photos of the hotel looked a lot better than in person Reality. it could really use a good deep cleaning in probably every single actual room that people stay in, but the lobby was kept really clean.

The hotel itself is very nice. The lobby is modern and clean and the hotel staff is wonderful. We did have some issues with the room condition. The sofa sleeper mattress pad was blood stained and dirty. We also had ants in the bathroom on the counter underneath the mirror. This forced us to remove our bath items and bring them into the bathroom when using them. The staff was very prompt in changing out the mattress pad. The hotel was full so we did not even try to get a new room. With three people and all our stuff we just adapted to the ants. The breakfast food was good but limited in variety.

This was the cleanest room I think I've ever stayed in! Bed was very comfortable too! Staff was great! While this hotel isn't in the heart of downtown St. Augustine, it was close enough for my hubby and I to walk, i.e. one mile from hotel to St. George's street, which is an easy walk for us. The breakfast had the most variety of any hotel breakfast I've ever had. Loved this hotel! I would definitely stay here again!

Thhe lobby looks very clean and inviting, after that it goes downhill. The fit and finish of the hotel is horrendous. Theres a slope down in the floor leading into the elevator. The door into my room was warped so back it never touched at the top and bottom with large gaps. I complained to hotel staff. The first one told me she would have it looked into but that was a lie. When i asked staff later what was the outcome of that there was no prior notes or orders taken so no one was aware of it. The second staff member told me she knew what i was referring to and it had been a problem for awhile but they chose not to fix it. My shower squeak on every step and movement of the door. The shower panel was previously broken and just siliconed back together as well as multiple places where it was applied very liberally for poor fitment issues. You have to pay for parking on property, at $20 a night. I would choose probably any other place in St. Augustine before i ever come back here again

Check in on Friday was good. Catherine was very nice. My only comment on the room is the pillows were not very substantial. They flattened down when you laid on them. The front desk clerk on Saturday morning was very rude to an older lady who was on crutches. The lady was trying to put the crutches down out of the way and she put them on the back of the sofa. The front desk clerk quickly came to the dining area to have them moved so not to dirty up the sofa since the crutches you know have so much dirt on them. The lady leaned them on her table and they kept sliding down and she was having to catch them. Her husband ended up putting them on the floor because the floor was so clean, there was no worry from the clerk about how dirty the floor might have been where this handicapped person had to place her crutches. But hey, the one inch area of your sofa was protected from the bottom part of the crutches which were the only part to touch the floor until she had to put them on the floor where people with whatever on their feet had been walking. You need to do better with disabled elderly people. The lady was quite embarrassed over the whole thing. Those of us watching from our own tables felt bad for her.

Room was spacious with a surface for 2 suitcases to be off the floor for easy access. All other hotels we stayed at only provided 1 luggage stand. Several mirrors in room with electric outlet & light, making getting ready easier while other person was showering. Bed was extremely comfortable. Linens & pillows were very nice. Great breakfast with lots of options.

The bed was very uncomfortable, the mattress was hard. At night the air conditioning turned off and took more than 2 hours to turn on even with the thermostat set to 66 degrees and inside the room the temperature was higher than 66.

Overall great hotel! Room was clean and looked nice. Customer service was amazing! About one mile from historic downtown and walking is not an issue for us. Nothing special about breakfast. Bed was comfortable but bring your own pillows (if you can) because they were flat and lacked fill. Wish they had the sitting area set up better. There was hardly any light and hard to see the TV.

It was overall a good stay. My only two complaints is (1) the air wouldn't stay on, and it wouldn't let us keep it low enough to be comfortable. (2) The shower floor creaked and groaned horribly, which was unnerving. Otherwise, it was fine. The room was clean.

We had a problem purchasing trolley tickets at the registration desk the day we checked in. The receptionist mistakenly charged 2 day tickets when I only wanted a one day ticket on the trolley. She apologized and assured me I would receive a refund. Also the front desk receptionist was not very friendly at check out. The breakfast served was very good and cleaning staff were all very accommodating.

Very nice hotel. It is around a 15 minute walk to Saint Augustine’s city center. It was not a bad walk, we went in early April and it was cool. However, I do believe that in the middle of the summer the 15 walk could be excessive, considering all the walking there is to do once you get to historic center. Also, they charge $20 plus tax (per day) for the parking. Nowhere in their webpage they disclose the parking charge. Next around, I would consider a hotel closer to the city center, even if it is a bit more expensive

Rooms were super spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious. The location is good. Walkable to fountain of Youth but not to Castillo San Marco. It is a short drive (maybe less than 5 mins) to Castillo San Marco.

Very nice hotel, really clean room and facilities. The staff were efficient and friendly. The room was nice and spacious. The shower would be better if it had a handheld option. My main complaint is the name of the hotel. It is on US 1, and not really downtown. It is a good 20-minute walk to the area with the historical sights, quaint shops and restaurants. The name should be changed.

We enjoyed our overnight stay. We visited during holiday of lights right after Thanksgiving. Hotel was clean and accommodating. Staff was friendly. Location is good for walking to downtown to see the lights (about a 8-10 min walk).

Room was very clean. Toilet seat was loose - we reported it at checkout. Too cold to go swimming in the outdoor pool. Ten minute walk to Olde Town Trolley/ Oldest Jail/ Fountain of Youth/ and Oldest Store location. Twenty min walk to beginning of Historic District attractions, shops and restaurants. Hotel free breakfast was above average and varied.

The breakfast included was satisfactory but the staff needs to replenish food items at a faster pace. Many time items will run out such as coffee, milk, bagels, yogurt, oatmeal, etc. The staff was nice and always brough the missing items but we should not have to ask. The location was convenient to the historical district and walkable. Poll and jacuzzi area are very nice and well mantained with pool towels provided. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

This Hampton was a wonderful option in a great location. Our family of five loved the room we had and breakfast every day was great. They had a solid rotation of items, so it wasn't the exact same every morning. Coffee, waffles, fresh fruit, oatmeal, eggs, sausage, and more.
