Hos Mette is a wonderful place to stay! It manages to have a sleek design yet feel very homely, the perfect base for a relaxing few days away. Mette herself is a lovely host. She met us on our arrival and was easily contactable via WhatsApp if we needed anything. I would highly recommend trying her amazing Danish breakfast with views of the grounds and wild deer running around!! Despite it being cold outside our room was always warm and cosy!! We only used public transport and walked whilst in Denmark. Hos Mette is around a 30 minute walk from Borkop where you can get buses or trains to Vejle. Børkop doesn’t seem to have any bars or restaurants though, so you will need to cook at HM, travel a bit further or order takeaway. We did have a very nice pizza delivered on our last night which was easy to do through JustEat.
