Overall, this is a really great hotel in an excellent location, with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The hotel bar is also very reasonably priced, which was a nice surprise. I stayed in room 215. The air conditioning wouldn’t start, although I didn’t really need it during my stay, so this wasn’t an issue for me. There was some noticeable noise from the trams late in the evening and again in the morning. I stayed on the second floor, so if you’re sensitive to noise, I would recommend asking for a room on a higher floor if possible. The only thing that could definitely be improved is the breakfast service. Don’t leave your coffee or juice unattended! Every morning, at least once, I would get up for less than a minute to grab something else from the buffet, only to return to find my table completely cleared — even a full cup of coffee and a full glass of juice would disappear. I’ve honestly never experienced anything quite like it. The staff are clearly trying to keep everything clean and tidy, but a little more awareness of whether a guest has actually finished would make a big difference. Apart from that, an excellent hotel that I would happily stay at again.

The water in the shower was almost cold and the temperature kept fluctuating. Even the water from the sink in the morning was completely cold. I complained about it, and a staff member came to my room and explained that the hotel regulates the water temperature so that it does not get too hot, presumably to save money. The result was that you either took a cold shower or did not shower at all. I first reported the issue on a Sunday, and the receptionist informed me that there was no maintenance staff available on Sundays. That is simply not acceptable. Guests should be able to take a proper shower regardless of the day of the week. The breakfast was also quite disappointing for a Hilton hotel and did not meet the standards I would have expected. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.
