I highly recommend this hotel. Front desk was excellent, personable, and quite helpful. The shower door and tissue holder were broken and they fixed it asap! Toiletries were from Ritual and they all smelled heavenly. The hotel restaurant offered a good selection of buffet breakfast for €15,00 per person. Shops and restaurants were literally just outside the hotel along Rua Augusta. Rossio, Praça do Comércio, Metro, a stop for Tram °28 were all within walking distance to the hotel. I highly recommend My Story Hotel Augusta.

Just back from week here, Fantastic location, rooms were small but ideal as we spent very little time in them, only issue was the shower was leaking water out onto the floor of the bathroom, special mention to Sha and Saidur in the bar, they were amazing, so attentive and friendly couldn't do enough for you.

Much nicer hotel than I anticipated. Right in the middle of the action in Baixa, but with excellent double panes windows that locked the noise out. Comfortable bedding, good lighting, spacious room and bathroom. Did not eat at the restaurant or bar, but nice to know it was an option. Would stay here again.

Ok, the staff is great. Very helpful especially Silvia! The location couldn’t be better being right off the main boulevard in Lisbon City Center. Even their restaurant I would give 5 stars. Now with that said my advice to all looking to book there Do Not Accept a Room on the Fifth Floor. Most hotels have dormers on the 5th floor so while that floor has small French balconies that slanted ceiling you have to deal with makes the room much smaller and some what cramped. We had stayed at another My Story hotel two years ago on the 4th floor and was wonderful. This time this hotel had no lobby, just the restaurant indoor seating area. That and the fact that our room had no dresser of any type meant having to spread out suitcase clothing on the floor. I know that I should not have accepted that room the moment I saw it so that’s on me but we had just come off our Norwegian cruise, we were tired and just wanted to relax but had to wait until 3 to get into the room - that was 6 hours later. You can have them store your luggage until the room opens but really with no lobby there was no place to even sit down. Just walk around for 6 hours.

A great property if you want to be in the thick of it. Tons of shops and restaurants around the hotel. However, because of the location, you also have lots of noise and TONS or tourists. If that's what you want, this is the hotel for you. A bit too busy for me. The hotel itself was very nice and my room was fantastic with amazing A/C....not always the case in Europe so very nice to have. Great restaurant in lobby.

Loved this hotel. This is a small hotel but nice staff, room was comfortable, efficient air conditioning, and comfortable bed. We were on 4th floor with view of a brick wall next door but didn't care because not in our room much. The location is excellent, right among many popular areas but was quiet for sleeping. Have to pay for the breakfast there or many choices at nearby pastry shops. There are 2 other Sister My Story book hotels that seemed nice and you get a discount to eat at one right across the street. We noticed in Portugal the hotels do not have washcloths, Just hand size or large bath towels.

I was in town with my sister for a fall break and we had a lovelg stay here. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The rooms were really nice and super clean. Had a small fridge and coffee maker. Hairdryer, good shampoo etc. The completely sound proof doors were super effective - its on a busy street, but with the windows closed you do not hear a thing. Its super centrally located and so easy to get around. Breakfast is really good and with loads of options. We had such a great stay here and i would absolutely come back!

État de la salle de bain déplorable : les murs sont tachés, le joint de porte de la douche est noir et ça caille ! Chauffage dans la chambre, un jour à 24 l’autre à 21 et pas de possibilité de réglage… Il manque cruellement de rangements pour les habits, une seule mini tringle avec 4 cintres pour éteindre ses affaires, à plus de 2 mètres de haut ! Chambre très bruyante, on entend un groupe tourner toute la nuit au travers de la ventilation. Le reste de l’hôtel, accueil, ascenseur et couloirs sont très cleans, en décalage par rapport à l’état des chambres.

The property was in a great location! Close to everything in the old town. Room was clean and staff was friendly. They even let us borrow a converter for the outlets. We stored our luggage after checking out so we could see everything we wanted to see. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Lisbon!

L’hôtel est dans est super bien placé. Par contre, il faudrait refaire quelque retouche. Pour le prix payer, j’ai eu des hôtels beaucoup mieux entretenu. La chambre était correct, mais la salle de bain avait besoin d’amour. Trous dans la douche, avec substance louche pour les rebouchers. Les crochets étaient sur le point de tomber. Bof, pour le prix payer, je ne conseil pas.

Liked that it was on the pedestrian zone with so much choice for dining and shopping, and so close to the waterfront. Didn't like how tiny the rooms were, barely bigger than the bed itself, and the shower had a door that we could barely squeeze into. Room was very hot in the evening, and very cold in the morning, with no way to adjust the thermostat from the room itself, and no answer when we called the front desk. Expected a little more comfort than that for the >300 euro/night we paid.

Location was handy to everything, very close to the metro and train and other sights. Loads of options to eat, but they would be known as tourist traps. People outside trying to coax you inside. The rooms are very warm, air-con was set to heat due to the time of year. Hotel tried to switch it to cool when I asked, but when it didnt work, they told me to open the window. I had been doing that, but when you're woken up at 3am with the heat (24oC) in the room, opening a window in a busy and lively area doesnt equate to a good night sleep!

Ideal location in the heart of Lisbon on pedestrian only street. Bed was very comfortable & room is more spacious than expected from photos. I asked about the best way to get to the airport & they offered a shuttle for 50 euros for our whole family to get there with lots of luggage. Highly recommend this property.

Room coood not have been smaller. We had a 2 night stay and no where to put luggage at all and bathroom had no space to put anything. Ideal for a one night but not beyond this for a stay over.

Now with that said my advice to all looking to book there Do Not Accept a Room on the Fifth Floor. Most hotels have dormers on the 5th floor so while that floor has small French balconies that slanted ceiling you have to deal with makes the room much smaller and some what cramped. We had stayed at another My Story hotel two years ago on the 4th floor and was wonderful. This time this hotel had no lobby, just the restaurant indoor seating area. That and the fact that our room had no dresser of any type meant having to spread out suitcase clothing on the floor. I know that I should not have accepted that room the moment I saw it so that’s on me but we had just come off our Norwegian cruise, we were tired and just wanted to relax but had to wait until 3 to get into the room - that was 6 hours later. You can have them store your luggage until the room opens but really with no lobby there was no place to even sit down. Just walk around for 6 hours.

The hotel was nice, but they didn't allow for early check in. We were asked what time we would arrive, which was noon. Upon arrival we were told to come back at 3:00 as our room wasn't ready. We came back at 3:00 and had to wait an additional 40 minutes to check in. This was at the end of a very long trip and we were exhausted.

Luana at the front desk is wonderful she goes above and beyond to help customers. The location of the hotel is amazing walking distance to everything. The hotel offers transportation to your destinations highly recommend. The excursions they offer are the best I have taken in Europe.I love my story hotel.

The staff is incredibly incompetent and inconsistent. One night we were able to order breakfast at 1:15 am due to jet lag the next day we could not order breakfast at 12:10. Property does not feel clean. Gross carpentry and bathrooms that do not feel sanitary. Overall I would not recommend staying here

Staff was very friendly. The room was small but comfortable and nice. We left some of our things behind by accident and they emailed us to let us know, the honesty was appreciated and we were able to retrieve our things. I would absolutely stay here again!

I had a great stay in Lisbon at this hotel. It’s an amazing location, making adventuring around quite easy. It is clean and the hotel staff are very helpful. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are small but that was not an issue for me as I was travelling solo and know what a lot of rooms are like in Europe for size. My only negative was that you can’t control the temp in your room. It’s apparently centralized. My room was quite warm, especially at night when I couldn’t have window open due to noise on the street. I’m not sure if this changes during the summer months or if they still choose the A/C temp as well. They had it set at 24 but it was even going up to 25 which is unfortunately too warm for me to sleep well. Food for thought if you are someone who prefers to adjust your own thermostat in hotels.

This hotel is perfectly situated for sightseeing. I was a bit concerned it might be noisy, but have to say with window shut you can’t hear a thing of the busy street below (air con in rooms). Staff were very friendly and helpful and hotel is clean. Would definitely stay here again!

Location was handy to everything, very close to the metro and train and other sights. Loads of options to eat, but they would be known as tourist traps. People outside trying to coax you inside. The rooms are very warm, air-con was set to heat due to the time of year. Hotel tried to switch it to cool when I asked, but when it didnt work, they told me to open the window. I had been doing that, but when you're woken up at 3am with the heat (24oC) in the room, opening a window in a busy and lively area doesnt equate to a good night sleep!

Nice boutique hotel. Excellent location. We felt safe at all times. Walking distance for train to Cascais and hop on hop off your. Breakfast wasn’t included, but we bought it for 15€ each; and it was good. Buffet style with eggs, meat, fruit, pastries, freshly-squeezed juices…. I’d stay here again.

Best location ever. Close to everything, sightseeing points, metro and lots of restaurants. Helpful and kind staff.The hotel is not fancy, our room had no closets to put the clothes and the bathroom was very work out. The breakfast buffet is nothing speciel and not a lot to choose. We stayed in the hotel for 5 nights so we quicky got tired of the breakfast so we would recommend to eat in one of the many restaurants near by. There is coffe in the rooms but be aware that it is only once. If you need more coffee you have to buy it for €1,5 pr capsule. The quetips etc is also not beeing refilled. We have never ever before stayed in a hotel where this not has been inclueded. We also forgot som ceramics bowls in the room when we left but when we contactet the hotel they said it was not found? Eventhough we could say exactly where it was in the room. I think we would try another hotel if we are going back to Lisboa.

Everything was great! We booked the standard double and were given a room on the 5th floor with a balcony. Im a light sleeper and was concerned about street noise and there was none! Maybe on the lower floors you may hear it but where we were was silent. Breakfast was really decent - eggs, bacon, beans, mushrooms, toast, breads, ham, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, pastries, tarts, tea, coffee, orange juice. Location is superb. 5 mins walk to metro for airport and central to all sights/attractions. If I had to be picky the only negative for us were the pillows - very soft and lumpy but it was a minor point and an otherwise perfect stay.

Great location, but extremely small Location-wise, this hotel is great. It’s right next to the metro and buses, with plenty of restaurants nearby. Just keep in mind that many of them are the typical tourist-trap restaurants with pictures on the menu. The biggest issue is the size. The room is very, very, very small. We are two normal-sized adults, and the bathroom honestly felt claustrophobic. The shower is also not very well designed—the water gets everywhere, so the bathroom floor outside the shower is always wet. That said, everything outside of the bathroom was good. The location is excellent, and overall we had a decent stay. Just be prepared for a very small room and an even smaller bathroom.
