This is our second year and we will already book for next year as well. The experience was incredible for the second year in a row and exceeded all of our expectations. The service, impeccable The amenities, really nice The facilities, very high-end The food, exquisite The entire package was close to perfection, and we can't wait to return for many more years to come

Self contained with several good restaurants on the property. Pool area was wonderful. Room was well laid out and very comfortable.

Overall the hotel is very well maintained but as a platinum expedia members we were declined the upgrade given that the hotel was not fully booked. Amenities are decent and facilities are acceptable (eg not enough pools or seating beds) for the capacity at the hotel.

The good things; the property is pretty beautiful, views are great, rooms are really lovely and all restaurants in the hotel are really high standard. The areas that we found jarring (given 5 star rating); the service is mixed - some really great people, some folks are pretty unresponsive/unhelpful. While the property is stunning, there are improvements ongoing (eg we found 7 loose tiles in baby pool). Overall I would recommend a visit, if you are keen to see the area/stay in a nice hotel.

Amara was an excellent facility with excellent service. The breakfast spread was beautiful and delicious. I had a private yoga practice with Larissa she went above and beyond. We also had two masssages both were wonderful. Highly recommend Amara.

Stayed at the hotel for one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. We took our kids with us and they absolutely loved the indoor pool and kids club.

the hotel was more than perfact in every aspect it is the best hotel we ever stayed there is no even one comment great food in breakfast and all 4 resturants the room was very clean and with great open view the mini bar was all the time refilled we celebrated my wife's birthday and they paid attention to the date we will defintly come again

We stayed at Amara last week and had an amazing time. We had two interconnected rooms with amazing bathroom facilities, beds and sea view balconies. The many highlights include the incredible breakfast Buffett, the ladies cooking omelettes deserve a special mention as do the front of House people every morning who looked after us perfectly. The pool team were incredible and nothing was too much trouble. Ignore other reviews about pools as the adult and children pools are well designed and compliment each other perfectly. The best seats are by the sea and we never had any issues getting seats. The housekeepers were outstanding and nothing was too much trouble. We ate in the hotel and locally. Very easy to get a taxi also. A wonderful break and we look forward to returning again. Thank you all.

This hotel was easily on the top 3 hotels I’ve stayed at in my lifetime. I’ve rarely reviewed my stays unless it was above or below expectations. This hotel really embodies the idea of a home away from home. It has absolutely everything you may need in a resort, incredible dining options, and an outstanding staff that’s trained extremely well to anticipate what you may need. The spa was also one of the best I’ve experienced with a 3000 year old wall in the middle of it that the hotel has preserved in the construction process. This is the kind if hotel you visit and spend most of the time there enjoying their facilities. The rooms are incredible but they are not the stand out feature of our stay. The only comment to offer a fair review is that there isn’t much around the area in terms of touristic sites or walks, it’s definitely a staycation type of resort. I will visit again probably within the next 4-5 months purely due to our enjoyment there.

Well as a gold member and having booked 3 rooms at hotels.com vip property at amara and not having to be granted my vip perks as a gold member it was a bit disappointing The staff did not want to grant us even our bottle of wine . I travel more then 15-20 times a year for business and stay at hotels.com vip properties all the time and this time was very different

Do not stay here! My flight got cancelled on my way to the airport and there was no way for me to arrive at the property until the next night therefore I had to cancel my entire trip because it didn’t make sense to go for only one night. The hotel refused to refund my money and I never even stepped foot on this property! Expedia is refusing to take responsibility even though I also purchased the Insurance protection plan.

The beach and pool staff was friendly and helpful, on the other side the room service was always very late even for just water . The reception staff wasn’t very friendly and helpful.overall I rate my experience 7 out of 10.

- we booked 5 rooms and asked to be placed on the same floor. The reception informed that this option is not available, which is understandable, but mentioned that we can easily move between rooms since we have the same elevator. what she did not say is that each one of us had access to their floor only, and this is very deceptive - another issue is, upon check in i used my amex. however the machine did not accept it because of connection issue although i was charged. The receptionist the moment the payment was not confirmed asked me to deal with it and contact “JCC” which is a local entity in Cyprus & i did not know it. I had to insist that she needs to investigate it and the only party i can talk to is my card provider - my biggest issue is that i had to checkout earlier because of a death in my family. I informed the reception a day before for a refund or to apply the cancellation policy. The receptionist promised to come back to me. she never did. However on the day of checkout i asked again and she said that its not possible. I mentioned that it does not make sense since you have a cancellation policy. She referred me to another lady and she said the issue is related to the fact i booked through hotels.com as they will deduct fees anyways if they don’t approve. I asked if hotels.com contacted the hotel to confirm their approval would amara hotel accept to apply the cancellation policy and she confirmed. I called hotels.com and they called amara and they refused

One of the best resorts I have stayed at recently. Truly a top of the line hotel doesnt fall from the Four Seasons brand. Excellent service great restaurants and not too expensive.
