the pool, that was advertised, was closed, and as it seems, since a longer time because it was dirty as it hasn't been cleaned for weeks. The person at the reception wasn't interested in us - but in her mobile. She wasn't even friendly. After all a (nearly) dead cockroach directly besides the sink isn't a warm welcome at all :-(. For about $160 a night in a place somewhere in nowhere this isn't good value for money. Never again.

The rooms and service here are excellent. Attentive staff, nice comfortable amenities, place is very well kept up, looks new and modern. This is in a small town away from the big city but it is very relaxing to see big wide fields and swamps. A wide variety of hot and cold breakfast choices were offered.

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff was friendly & location was convenient to I-10. The bed was comfy & our room was clean. Breakfast was decent. Our only negative observation was the cleanliness of the hallway. We stayed 2 nights & I don't believe it was ever vacuumed. The 2nd day there were 2 trash bags in corners that were there all day. Not a deal breaker, but not a good impression either. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Hotel is very clean..The king suite had two televisions...I've never seen that before in any hotel that I have stayed..The bummer was the cold drab breakfast. How could you invest so much in the niceness of the hotel and then serve terrible breakfast..that made the hotel go from five stars to three...smh..

My one issue was room 127. It’s located next-door to some sort of “water “closet that shakes the room when it activates every few minutes it is the only thing that prevented me from getting a good night’s sleep. Service was otherwise above average, polite, and as accommodating as possible. I would stay here again, but not in room 127. For what it’s worth, the breakfast offerings seemed in my opinion superior to those commonly found at similar hotels. I especially enjoyed the Belgian waffles, oatmeal with toppings, and cage-free quiche that did not have cheddar or American cheese, neither one of which I like and which are both ubiquitous at this sort of breakfast bar. Kudos for making better choices!

This hotel was located very conveniently for us, close to NOLA International airport and west of the city for ease in driving I 10 to San Antonio. The price was good, reviews were good. As one person stated Breakfast is a step above most other hotels. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable. Everything in the room worked well. We could hear people talking in the next room and in the hallway. There was no USB connection in the room but one of us had an outlet connection to charge phones. We would stay here again, easy access and convenient.

I have stayed at this property before on 2 previous visits. 3rd floor rooms are really spacious and has huge showers big enough to fit two people. I like that this hotel is clean and 30 minutes from New Orleans. The only downside is the walls are thin. I was up 7am on a Saturday morning due to the guests on the 4th floor kids running. I could hear all of that raucous while lying on the bed. If possible, please put people with small children on the first floor away from other guests. Other than that I recommend this hotel.

Checked into room bed frame was sticking out of the end of the bed. Moved to another room the toilet paper holder broken shampoo container laying on shower floor not all outlets worked NOT GUEST READY Room. I selected this hotel because they had a 9.4 review. NOT the quality I expected from Marriott or Expedia reviews

Everything with the room was fine and what I've come to expect from Fairfield. However, after checking in found that the tv didn't work. Reported it the first night, reported it the second night and again the third night. Never was fixed. Also never made up our room once during a 3 night stay. They offered points as compensation but I missed watching many of the bowl games over the holiday weekend. Stuff happens but disappointed.

I requested a room with two beds. My reservation was confirmed for two beds but when I got there the front desk told me because of the sell out status she changed me to a single bed. I told her I had a confirmation and was not notified of any changes to my reservation. She apologized and said it was nothing she could do. She went on to tell me that the sofa bed was considered a second bed. I’m sorry the comfort levels between a sofa bed and a full mattress bed is very different. It was to late to find another place to stay, so I stayed the night. I was very disappointed.

This was a great choice in every way! "Denver," the assistant manager at check in was most helpful; he immediately, cheerfully upgraded us because air conditioner in first room was making a noise. Our room was very clean, very quiet with a lovely bed. Breakfast was excellent. Every staff person here was super friendly with the attitude, "What can we do to make your stay pleasant?" Want a great motel at decent price? Stop here and be pleasantly surprised!

The staff was helpful and pleasant. The rooms were quite and clean. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud. It would have been nice to have a safe in the room, but not a dealbreaker. Can't complain about the out side as it was kept as clean as you can keep it when you are pretty much surrounded by swamp. It wasn't real close to town, but not so far from it. Might be why you didn't have all the noise. It set just 23 miles outside of New Orleans. And no gators visiting the parking area, so that's a big plus. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit New Orleans for all the fun and excitement, but would prefer the quite after all the excitement to be able to unwind and recoup.
