The city shut down the pool and hot tub, which sucked, because that's why we booked this hotel. The "restaurant" only had pizza for an option for food. We received paper plates, plastic forks and knives that wouldnt even cut the pizza. Never had an experience like this and we travel a lot. On a good note. The gentleman that checked us in was very nice and the rooms are nice.

Waited 5 min for the front desk person to come back to the desk to check me in then went tp the hot tub tried to turn the just on and switch was broken. It appeared to have been broken for a very long time.

Staff was great! Mercedes our bartender was great, she not only made our drinks she also was restocking the lobby food and cooked pizza's for other guests. Excellent service and very friendly.

Didn’t like that you had to pay for breakfast, but whatever, we were there for the pool. The pool was adequate, but apparently if the doors aren’t propped open the fire alarm goes off. My kids had a blast and the hotel was close to the Big Texan, which is why we chose it. Not a glamorous hotel but was in budget and was great for our family of 6.

Our car was broken into in the lot. The hotel didn’t have cameras but when I pressed it turns out only the owner has access to the few cameras they have. Beware.

Love this place. No big complaints other than parking gets full quick so you may have to park on the side. Clean, comfy, good sleep. One of our stops here the elevator was broke and we had to use the staff elevator but things happen, can’t condemn them for that. This is our go to hotel and it’s near the Big Texan where we enjoy dinner.

We had a good stay. The indoor pool wasn’t very warm, although they did have a hot tub too. The hot tub was nice and warm. The breakfast was better than a continental breakfast but not sure it was worth $9. Has a nice gym.

This was the most awful stay during my road trip so far. When I entered my room, I immediately noticed that in every corner it was dirty. Upon checking the bathroom, I was greeted by silverfish in the bathtub and more dush and stuff in every single corner, hairs in the sink and all over in the bathroom.

I don’t understand why hotels that claim to be family friendly have barn doors that barely close let alone lock for the bathroom door. I’m not a fan. Also, the breakfasts have always been complimentary at holiday inn but this location charges and the actual buffet is the exact same as all other locations. So that seemed like a rip off. Room wasn’t as clean as we would have liked. Crumbs under a table. Food under the pull out couch. Normally holiday inn is a go to for me but I found this one to be under standards.

At a glance, it's a fairly brand new hotel with nice decor. However, room cleanliness could be better. Desk staff was very nice, bar staff was questionable. Without going into too many specifics, we had a pest problem in first room, but desk staff promptly remedied the issue by moving us to another room. The bed was comfortable, but don't waste your money on the breakfast. It was fair at best. Not as good as the free breakfast offered at Hampton Inn and other similar hotels. 3-star rating is aaccurate for this hotel.

The place is pretty beat up. Most of the floor tiles were eitger craced or loose. The bathroom door is a barn door type and refused to stay closed without a rag stuck it. The towel hooks were only held to the wall by the wall paper. Lastly, the room didn't come close the one pictured on the site.

Great location we loved the room! The room was very comfortable, the bed was perfect! The bartender at the bar was making some awesome drinks! The only drawback was there was no air vent in the bathroom! Will definitely stay there again!!

This property served its purpose as a road trip overnight stop, but I think there are others nearby that are better (like the Hampton Inn next door). We initially had to move rooms because the thermostat and toilet were broken. Though the pool and hot tub were functioning, our kids were disappointed because the door to the pool broke so we couldn’t swim. They also charge for breakfast that is comparable to other hotels where it is free. Our room faced the highway and was a bit loud, but the beds were comfortable. Overall, it is clean, safe, and has a mini mart, laundry, and a bar. The staff was very responsive, kind and helpful. It is also walking distance from Big Texan.

Great hotel except VERY poor lighting in the bathroom. The back lighting around the bathroom mirror was barely on, making putting on makeup nearly impossible. Only 2 well-lit areas: the bathtub and the entry way, which had no mirror.

Room was hot. Called front desk for help and said I would be moved rooms since maintenance was not there. (No problem things happen) Was told to stay in the room and they would come up with new keys. It took like 30 minutes in a hot room till I left downstairs to see what the hold up was. Front desk was on her phone. Very inconvenient since it was late at night and we just wanted to sleep and rest.

We got to the hotel at 11:30pm and no one was working. Meaning, there were ZERO staff or employees on site. There was a sign that said they stepped away for a moment, and to call this number. We called the number and it went to voicemail. We called the hotel, and it just rang right there in front of us. After 12 calls, a child answered the phone and got the “manager”of the hotel on the phone. He said he would be there in 10 minutes. We waited and waited, and no one showed up. We had to go to another hotel at 1am with 2 children. We will never waste our time on this hotel again. If there was a fire or emergency with someone in a room, there was absolutely no one there working. Unacceptable.

After driving all day and arriving very late at night, Brianna was so accommodating! The next morning we had breakfast and Elvia was just the sweetest. They truly made a difficult trip so much better. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting or passing through Amarillo.

Nice hotel, but restaurant had no food - zero. Hot tub was great temp, but only one jet worked at full strength. It's on the edge of town, so limited dining options nearly. Room and beds were very comfortable, and the staff were nice.

Scammed out of $10 for a garbage "breakfast" thats just the same continental breakfast you get free everywhere else. Will not stay here again, and will stop staying at holiday inn if this is how it at all locations.

My only issue is that breakfast was not included with my stay. Had I known this I would have stayed elsewhere. The breakfast was no different than any other hotel that would have had it included in the cost of staying there. It was definitely not worth the extra $10 a person. Its my fault for not checking when I made the booking.

Staff was friendly... mostly. Breakfast was not warm at all - biscuit and gravy was cold. 7:45 am and was not impressed by the breakfast. The eggs were filled with cheese - I can't eat cheese. So didn't get to eat the egg. Air conditioner made a large noise each time it turned on and off. Woke us up numerous times during the two nights. Bathroom door was squeaky and they sprayed WD-40 on it. Better. Light bulbs needed changing, door slammed shut hard,
