This a very good hotel. Clean, modern, great breakfast buffet. However it is spoiled as it allows smoking in the pool area. Very difficult to not have smoke being blown all over you. Such a shame because otherwise is a top hotel.

Var en uge på dette skønne hotel. Noget af det bedste jeg har boet på i Thailand. Super stille beliggenhed, til trods for at det ligger midt i centrum. Dejligt poolområde med skøn restaurant, super venlig betjening og alt fungerede til stor tilfredsstillelse. Close to everything. No complaints on the hotel other than the whole time I was there the pool was being renovated and we were not given that detail ahead of our arrival, had I known in advance would have definitely chosen an alternate hotel.

This is a great hotel, stayed there a few times now. Normally no problems but unfortunately this time the internet access was quite flaky as was the television service. Also there were a lot less tv channels available this time around. Neither is a massive issue, but seemed unfixable.

This is a great hotel in my opinion. The staff here is AMAZING. The rooms are clean and quiet. This hotel has one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in, that was a big plus for me. Close to everything you might need. Plenty of restaurants and cafes around. Located in a very walkable area. Higly recomend this place

If you like peace and quiet when you sleep, this may not be the best choice. At night you will hear music and the bass. At the morning, if your room is the OPPOSITE side of the pool than you will hear non-stop of roasters crying. I don’t mean just an hour of each day but for HOURS each day. If there is sunlight it will cry forever. On the last day, for some reason it started crying at 3:30 AM. It was pitch black and yet it cried all night until I checked out at 12pm. However the room was big and clean, staff was wonderful. If it wasn’t for the roaster crying everyday it would be an easy 5. The hotel and the property was clean and well maintained just outside the hotel is a different story.

Du bon et du moins bon. Chambre standard, attention la vasque de sdb est dans la chambre juste séparé par une cloison ( on aime ou pas! ) Juste une planche pour étaler vos vêtements, pas de possibilité de placard ou autre. Le menage, très très leger voir plus . Obliger au bout de 10 jours de nettoyer le miroir de la vasque sinon on ne se voyait plus. Infrastructure extérieur bien, le bar, chaise longue ect … L hôtel est joli dans sa globalité. Ne vaut pas le prix par contre c est dommage. Simple rien de plus.

Great hotel with nice and clean rooms. Breakfast buffet is very good. Staff is very friendly and nice. Pool area is okay with sun-beds although there is no parasols. Pool bar is very good. Pattaya Beach is about a 10 min walk from the hotel. Hotel wifi is slow and pretty unstable.

The most modern hotel I stopped in out of 4 in pattaya this trip. Soft bed trendy. Big modern lobby, great staff all round. Only downside was the size of the room which after being in bigger I would have liked. Something else I noticed was constant doors closings and being able to hear the neighbors doing aerobics. I also didn't use the pòol as your on display from the lobby. 2 fast elevators and underground parking for a scooter or car.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Very well run with an excellent staff who were ready to help you at anytime of the day or night. Very clean with excellent air conditioning (a must in Thailand lol). I had a couple of small problems; one being the power suddenly went off in my room at about 2.30am. After letting the staff know a maintenance man came within 5 minutes and had it sorted. The only criticism I can think of is the lack of storage; there is no wardrobe, simply a rail to hang your clothes on which remain in full view of any visitors you might have. Also there is only one small drawer to put things away so you are essentially living out of your suitcase and I found it very irritating that my room was always in a mess. Those with a wife take note, this would drive most women mad. On the bright side it would of course make an excellent hotel for the naturist community. That aside I would certainly stay there again

For starters, rude staff. I called house keeping to ask for more bottled water and q-tips. Lady comes with water only. I told her I asked for the q-tips also. She rolls her eyes at me & reluctantly tells me to follow her to her cart where she hands me 1 small pack of qtips (2). I asked if I could have a couple more sets as there’s two of us sharing a room. She says NO! One only! I told her we have multiple ppl and are staying several nights. She reluctantly gave me 1 more set after rolling her eyes at me again. During check out this morning, I asked the lady at the front desk for a bottle of water (which is complimentary for guests). She charges me 15 BHT. I told her it’s free for guests. She says, “Yes it’s free for guests, but not for people checking out.” I told her, check out time is at noon. I’m checking out 3 hours early at 9. She charges me regardless after giving a ton of attitude. How lame is that? I brought it upon myself to take back the tip I had left. What a crappy way to part ways with a hotel while we’re on our honeymoon. Cleanliness: We found period blood stains on our bedsheets upon check in. Disgusting! Breakfast buffet is lacking in quality, but the price is fair at 195 BHT. Food was not good, but had nice espresso machines and an omelette bar. Ending on a positive note, hotel is in a convenient location with many shopping stores, restaurants, and massage parlors right outside. The pool is nice, with a bar & patio area

Arrived at 9:30 in the morning I was only booked in after 2 o’clock but they sorted me the room out for 1030 great service give me a breakfast tea and coffee unfolding the third time I stayed it was great. It’s in the centre of every word.

Very clean modern room layout, friendly staff members and AC was nice a cold after a hot day of walking. Location is prime if you want to be close to Tree Town area and Soi Buakhao road. The shuttle service to Central Pattaya is awesome. Laundry services and massage areas are very conveniently close. Breakfast is good. Don't make that mistake like me and missing that the egg and bacon goodies are on the outside of the area. I've stayed in multiple hotels and I must say this one is a must.

Location in the center of action but my room was quiet. No loud bars disturbing my sleep. Nor did cleaning staff disturb me. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were good quality. I felt very much at home. This was my fourth time staying at Hotel Amber and I plan to return.

6th stay at the Amber. Always a pleasure. Lovely staff, nice pool area. Spacious rooms which are cleaned every day. Breakfast ok but I’m not a breakfast person anyway! Good location. Close to Treetown for those who know Pattaya.

One of the best mid priced hotels in Pattaya. Some rooms may be showing some wear and tear around the edges, but generally a good experience. Close to Tree Town but the beach is a fifteen minute walk. Shuttle can be unreliable so you need to check with the front desk. Breakfast is good. Hotel is popular and can be busy during peak season. Overall decent hotel. Breakfast is ok. Juice machine excluded, which was foamy and not sure why it wasn't replaced and cleaned. Bathroom design is not very good. Water draining is bad and the floor stay wet ofter you take a shower. All bathroom related amenities are outside the bathroom since there is no place to put them inside the bathroom even when its so big. Whater pressure is low and there isn't enough hot water even when its set to the max. Pool area is small and surrounded by 2 buildings so its not easy to get some sun. Good and comfy bed in the room.
