I almost put good instead of excellent because the lift wasn’t working the day we were leaving and we were on the fifth floor! The staff accommodated us by bringing our luggage down in the service lift. It would have been even more appreciated if they had put our luggage in our hotel room the day we arrived as we were out all day until 9:30pm. The hotel is situated in a great location, is very clean, the rooms are comfortable, staff are very curious. We enjoyed the welcome drink, the bottle of water daily and the complimentary coffee and pastries in the afternoon. We would stay here again.

Extremely helpful staff. Parking was a breeze - pull in front of the hotel and the staff drives your car to the parking garage.....and brings it back when you need. Area is very walkable as it is in the historic central downtown area. Hotel is immaculately clean. It is a boutique hotel located within the city.

Lovely hotel and staff, excellent location. Keep in mind there is a busy bar on the same street, it didn’t bother me so much until the nights it rain. People take cover under the neighbouring hotel. Room was lovely, my only complaint is the mini fridge was not plugged in and stocked. The fridge didn’t work the whole time. The tv has surround sound/bluetooth speakers. I enjoyed the rooftop sitting area too. I would go back :)

The staff member was very rude when upon check-in. She would not give a room upgrade as promised with expedia even though the other gentlemen wanted to. It was unfortunate the elevator and rooftop was out of service for the 5 days I stayed.

Room was clean and beautiful. Lobby compact including a mini bar area but it didn’t feel overcrowded even when I stayed for drinks. Staff fantastic-helpful and very nice!! If I come back, I would definitely stay there and recommend to all. It was also in the heart of city and there was mega-shopping, restaurants and bars available.

The hotel is very nice, looks like new.The guy's from the reception are very nice and friendly, also the bar tender and every one from the cleaning to the breakfast servers,are going extra miles to make us feel good. The breakfast is well represented by many type of food, eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese, bread, cereals, pastries,salad and fruits. Coffee and tea is very good as well. The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the old center ,the railroad station and many landmarks around. Also many restaurants to choose from. I really enjoyed the stay in this hotel and I will come back in the future.

The "VIP" rooms were tiny and furniture had to be moved to even plug in a charging cord. The rooms could use some hooks both in bathroom and bedroom as it would help with so little space. Driling holes in the shelf in the shower would be a great idea too so soap etc doesn't sit in a pile of water. Corners of shower were caked with black mildew. Windows couldn't be opened. I cannot recommend.

Room was lovely and clean, as was all of the hotel, and in a good location, just outside to the main area but still very close. Beds very comfy! The only negative was the lighting in the bedroom - it was way too dark to get ready in the bedroom and not everyone does hair/makeup in the bathroom. As it was still dark at 7am during our stay, you couldn’t get any daylight to add to the subdued lighting. Some bright lamps would be a real benefit in the rooms… but overall we had a great stay:)

Great walkable location. Excellent breakfast buffet with a very broad range of foods. The rooms are tight!! We got one of the deluxe that was supposed to have room for a chair. No room for a chair no room for two bags of luggage. So you need to be ready for snug boutique accommodations.

The rooms were much smaller than the pictures and descriptions indicated. I ordered two superior twin rooms. The staff were excellent and brought a chair into the one room. There was not room in the second room for a chair. I rate staff superior and the breakfast was also excellent. Staff gave us directions to pharmacies, a laundromat (which I thought was on the premises), called us a taxi (which took us a very round about way to our destination). The taxi ride home was very short.

The person who designed this hotel has never stayed in our room. The hotel was dimmly lit in hallways and in rooms. it was bizzare that only way to have lights on in bathroom was to have main lights on. So used phone as light in bathroom. Faucet to short sink to shallow water got all over sink. Not enough room to put toiletries out. Breakfast,we were never told that breakfast was extra charge until we got bill. Had we known we would never have eaten there,lots of cafes in neighborhood I am sure with better food. Fire alarm went off in middlebof night we all got up people at front desk did not know what to do. We were never even comped breakfas next day..nothing for hours of sleep lost. not even an apology! Bar on roof deck..only friendly person was the bar tender. But getting up there with high steps no railing hard enough but getting down after a drink or so very scary. No railing,steep slippery marbel.

Hotel was in a great location and the staff was available all the time. They even give you fresh and free water with your stay in a nice bottle. The room was nice and clean with no complaints. When you check out they give you a farewell snack and everyone was very polite. The bathrooms are nice and large with a waterfall shower. Only downside is the very small sink, but it is doable and ok for the short trip.

The service at Moon and Sun was extraordinary. We had a bit of a medical issue and the staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The hotel itself was clean, and well attended. I stayed at the Hotel Moon & Sun Porto recently, had a wonderful experience. The reception team were welcoming, friendly and dealt with any requests I had efficiently. The room was clean, comfortable and a good size. In a perfect location within walking distance to several sites. There are various places to dine for breakfast/ lunch/ dinner or drinks. Would stay here again.

A estadia foi boa, porém, logo na chegada, os recepcionistas se mostraram bem rudes quando verificamos que o hotel não respeitou nossa escolha de camas de solteiros no quarto. Os receocionistas queriam que, para consertar o erro deles, ficássemos num quarto inferior sem ter nenhum reembolso. Fora a forma de se dirigir a nós com muita petulância e aspereza. Check-in person was okay. Welcome drink was nice gesture. Not a 4 star hotel. Given what’s paid one would expect more. The cleaning staff left the garbage bin in the middle of the room 1 day. Water was only give every other day. 2 people in room they gave 1 washcloth. They did not replace lotion when it was empty Front desk guys not very helpful and quoted double the cost for a taxi and had the wrong pick up time as requested without apology.

The hotel location is very bad. No taxi or uber driver stops in front of hotel. You have to drag your bags to hotel. However going out of hotel is good. Hotel can arrange taxi at door step. Location is very poor due taxi or uber do not take you at door step.

A great location in Baixa, in the relatively flat area of Porto. It’s on a tight street so you’ll have to walk at least part of the way there - not great if you have accessibility issues. I had booked a double room but on checking in, found that I had a twin with beds pushed together. My only option was to switch between two rooms mid-stay. It was annoying. The room itself was fine, the climate controls were decent and the shower was excellent. I stayed in the one room on the ground floor, 001. If you sleep here you will hear everything - the door is thin. Reception phone buzzing, latecomers at night, early risers in the morning. Try to avoid. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty - local options as well as more British/North American fare. Worth the money IMO. Overall a good hotel experience but it was a shame the small things dragged it down a bit.

Everything was great. Only issue was they need to find a way to send you to parking first as you can not get near the hotel to park in front because it’s a one way street and driving in Porto is horrible. We circled for way too long and finally had to park a distance away, Walk to hotel and then figure out how to move car to parking. Other than that it was great!!

O único problema é que a sala do cafe da manhã é pequena para a quantidade de quartos. Se o hotel estiver cheio , o hóspede tem que escolher um horário para o café da manhã e nem sempre tem o melhor horário. Isso eu não gostei. No restante é muito bom....limpo...bem localizado...ótima recepção e um bom quarto.
