Great rooms and the gym was probably one of the best for a hotel gym - lots of much heavier dumbells and a couple of concept 2 rowers along with lots of other equipment - very well thought out. Only 'upgrade' I would suggest would be many more powerpoints in the lobby and bar sitting areas. Most travellers need to change quickly and there are just zero powerpoints. Otherwise, excellent stay and value for money.

We had a very enjoyable stay—clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and a generally welcoming atmosphere. Everything felt well-maintained and comfortable. Just a heads-up: if you don’t book directly with the hotel, there’s a $15/night parking fee. Also, the parking spaces are quite tight, which could be tricky for larger vehicles. Overall, a great experience and would happily stay again.

Need to pay for underground parking. Really should be included. Virtually no mobile phone reception inside the rooms. Thankfully they offer wifi. Gym is modern and has a good variety of equipment.

Wouldn’t stay again, friendly staff however not worth what we paid. Carpet stains all over, cute room which has everything we needed and clean otherwise. Balcony dirty so don’t go out. Gym unfortunately no air flowing through and many machines broken and run down.

Best shower in a hotel. Nice toiletries. Great bed and pillow menu. Good washer and dryer. Nice balcony with a table and chairs. Has a good mini bar at hotel prices. Very comfortable and modern, would definitely stay here again. Walkable to the city center, and light rail runs in front with 2 stops on either side of the hotel. The only downfall was that there was no smart TV, and if you wanted to watch movies, you had to pay a fee. The reception team was great and helpful.

Second time I’ve stayed at this property. It’s been a few years. They improved their wifi speed from when I stayed there previously. My last stay I expected to work from the room and got 1.5-2mbps. Speed test had it at about 15mbps, which is still inadequate by today’s standards. The hotel is also a cell phone black spot for reception. It may not cover the whole property however take note. The location is ok but not that close to any real amenities or restaurants like other hotels in Braddon. The room was spacious however upon checking in at 1:50pm I was told my room was not ready (2pm check in time) however another room was organised. The rooms are comfortable. Bed is medium however I regret not choosing pillows from the pillow menu as the ones with the bed were not to my liking. Note you can’t cast to the TVs if you wish to watch your own content. The gym is large, clean and well maintained. It’s be great if they installed a drink fountain or had bottles of water available. Overall for the excellent rate I paid, it was a positive experience and better than my first stay. If I had to choose between this hotel and another closer to Braddon or civic at the same rate, i may be inclined to choose another option.

Really lovely hotel. Top notch service, always felt they would do anything to help me as a guest. Kindly upgraded to a 1BR apartment which was stylish and so well appointed. Modern decor, really flash and everything worked! Only downside is the TV only sems to give terrestial channels and Foxtel; was expecting built in Youtube, Netflix etc but not seen. And, noisy plumbing (mild).

Everything was perfect until I needed a receipt for buisness purposes. I checked out and asked for a receipt which they said they would email it’s been 3 days now no receipt I tried calling and my calls are being rejected and I’ve sent them an email with no response !

The man that checked us in was fantastic and so was the restaurant's server. The room was nice althought you could smell cigarette smoke coming from the next rooms balcony. We for went the cleaning service as they were offering a discount off their restaurant meals but when we asked about it, the lady at reception was not very pleasant.

We were overcharged and it took over 30 mins and three print outs of the bill to get it corrected. The usual " we will pass on your feedback" is not a proper response an issue. At least they could try and look like they are interested and will help with the problem.

As a guest that has stayed here a lot over the years I have found that some of staff are quite rude including restaurants. Not good enough. This will be my last booking with this Hotel and will not book any further accommodation with Deco or Capital Hotel Group.

A very nice stay at Deco Hotel. Their staff were helpful, happy and attended to needs with a smile. The bar was a great spot for a beer/ wine with a happy two hours. Breakfast was delicious, we loved our little staycation.

Very very nice hotel. New, stylish, clean, quiet, well appointed. Bar serves great beer, cocktails and tasting plates - get there for happy hour! Restaurant food quality was excellent. Staff very helpful - my daughter left her AirPods in the room. They contact room services who located them and stored until we could get back a week later to collect. Will definitely stay again.
