Hotel was a little out of the way but we chose this as it had a pool. The rooftop pool was lovey. It was small and the only gripe I have is that there was absolutely no shade to be had. The air conditioning stopped working in our room and as Porto was in the middle of a heatwave in early July we really felt this. They could not move us room as it was full. They did get a fan which helped. The description of our room on the website did state there would be a coffee maker. When I pointed this out to staff I was made to feel like a liar. When I showed them it on the website they figured out that the Portuguese site had been changed but not the English site. Didn’t really get an apology. The staff in the bar were so lovely. Always time for a chat. Lovely garden area where you could chill out during the day. This hotel is lovely but not a lot to do in the immediate vicinity. I would not stay here again if I returned to Porto simply because there is so many other options and I would try another area.

Check in tadellos war auch früher möglich, Frühstück gut aber etwas eintönig wenn man 8 Tage übernachtet gibt es nur minimale Abwechslung bei Gebäck. Pool ist für uns kein Pool da nur 70 Zentimeter tief haben niemand gesehen der diesen nutzt auch wir nicht . Waren mal etwas zum entspannen am Pool sonst nicht.

Porto var fantastiskt! Hotellets läge var perfekt, gångavstånd till allt! Frukosten var mycket bra, hade allt man kunde önska och lite till. Poolen var väldigt liten och området runt om detsamma (endast 4 solsängar fanns/fick plats) varför det inte var av intresse att spendera tid där då det alltid var upptaget. Det var lite av en besvikelse.

This property is a hidden gem. Loved it. The location is amazing. It is close to the main shopping street. Also close to the steps leading to the Ribeira area. The hotel has comfortable beds, great A/C, and is super clean and modern. Also enjoyed the breakfast— good selection in a very nice breakfast room overlooking the garden. Would stay here again if we return to Porto!!

I had such a wonderful stay here - the hotel is perfectly clean , well managed, great service and perfect location for walking to the city center. The photos are a true reflection of the rooms. Only thing I would rate low was the restaurant which is quite small and you may have to wait your turn to eat and breakfast options could be better.

The hotel is super clean. The cleaning crew was very impressive. Room is spotless clean and fresh after the cleaning service. They opened the window, and clean the windows, all the tiles in the bathroom. Very impressive. Other than that, the hotel is so so. Internet router broken for hours at night. Breakfast was ok. They had omelette which was a plus, but only machine made coffee. Not much selection from the breakfast buffet too.

Erg goed, vrij nieuw, modern, schoon hotel met prima service. Bij aankomst krijg je een bon voor wijn of alternatief, bij een kaartje aan de deur achterlaten voor het niet schoon hoeven maken van je kamer krijg je ook een drankbon. Bij het uitchecken krijg je pp een flesje water mee en in de lobby staat ook drank, koekjes en appels. Erg schoon, op loopafstand van de Louis 1 brug, en vrijwel alle highlights in de stad en stop 1 van de hop on hop off bussen. Op het dak is een klein terras met zwembadje. Het was een perfect verbijf.

I loved this hotel! The bed was so comfortable and breakfasts were delicious with a wonderful variety. I had a large sunny balcony and the views included the Duoro River. It was very close to all the major sites including the Riberia District. I walked everywhere. I had a very noisy neighbor and the hotel staff took care of the problem immediately. I would definitely stay here again.

Gesamt würde ich drei Sterne vergeben, denn ich finde es insgesamt doch relativ teuer für das was (verglichen mit anderen Hotels der Kette) geboten wird. + Personal teils sehr freundlich aber sehr zurückhaltend wenn es um extra Wünsche oder sogar ein Upgrade gehen sollte + Zimmerservice der Extraklasse, sehr sauberes Zimmer und Abends wurde nochmals nach Wünschen gefragt + Zimmer relativ neu und Bett ist sehr bequem Negativ fanden wir - Fenster schließt schlecht dadurch Lärm von der Straße und vor allem von der Baustelle an der ziemlich laut und viel gebaut wird - Ein Smart TV wäre schon schön auf dem sich Netflix oä anschauen lässt, ich kann mit lauter portugiesischen Sendern nur wenig anfangen. - Zimmer relativ klein, kaum Platz und die zur Straßenseite sind einfach laut. Zur Flußseite sollte man buchen.

Hotel was perfect for three nights in Porto. 10-15 minute walk to Cathedral and funicular railway. Room was spacious, modern and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Great selection and lovely pastries. Hotel staff were very professional, helpful and friendly.

Rooms were very nice and it was a quiet hotel. Our room was facing the street in front of the hotel, but we never heard any traffic. Also, we never heard a sound from other rooms. The complimentary port wine was very good. We received the vouchers the day we arrived, but it was a couple of days later before we had a chance to use them. We had been thinking about it all day and decided we wanted a cheese and cracker plate to go along with it. The staff was amazing. Alfonso organized the kitchen staff to make us the platter. They did not have crackers, but the small toast pieces (crostini) made up for it. There was more than enough for us and the price was very reasonable. We had a very romantic dessert. The location was very central to the two places we wanted to see. The first was the area around Sao Bento train station and the second was the river front, both the Porto side and the Villa Nova de Gaio side. They were about a 15 to 20 minute walk from the hotel or a 5 to 6 Euro Uber ride.

Hotel was clean, bed was comfortable, and excellent location for walking everywhere. Staff was not friendly and we felt like we were stupid when we asked a question at the front desk. The staff needs to learn how to smile and be friendly. One gal was super friendly the rest looked like they hated their jobs.

Genuinely one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in, everything was great. It's walking distance from the train station, the funicular, bars, restaurants, the river front and shopping. Despite being so central it is a quiet location. The bar has a lovely garden outside, and the staff looked after us really well, especially Afonso and Helder in the bar and the staff on Reception.

L’air climatisé ne fonctionnait pas du tout dès le départ. Il faisait très chaud. Ils ont été lents à venir et lorsque la personne de maintenance est venue, elle n’a pas pris ça au serieux et a dit qu’elle reviendrait plus tard. Elle a ensuite dit à la réception que tout était beau . La réception m’a téléphoné pour me dire que c’était ok, mais ça ne l’était pas du tout. J’ai donc dû aller me plaindre et heureusement Jorge à la réception m’a trouvé une nouvelle chambre où l’air climatisé fonctionnait bien. Mais j’ai pas aimé la mauvaise attitude de la personne de maintenance. De plus , j’ai trouvé la douche un peu cheap et le déjeuner ordinaire. La place de déjeuner est très petite. Les lits étaient confortables et le jardin à l’arrière de l’hôtel est agréable.

Great stay far superior from other NH in other European cities, but as always location was unbeatable. Front staff could be a bit more welcoming but the breakfast team made up for it. Joao, Joana and Carina?? at the breakfast provided excellent service and made our mornings better. Room and common areas were well kept and clean. Will definitely come back in our next Porto visit

Overall great experience. Nice location close to city very friendly staff! We were greeted by the most welcoming host in the reception and were offered a double room upgrade. Room was large, bright and well-kept. Room service very nice and thorough. Rooftop pool area was OK with a nice view, but pool itself was very cloudy. Staff was aware and worked on it but weren’t able to fix it during our stay. Food offerings on the rooftop had room for improvement (mostly heavy, oily burgers of different types - no lighter options).
