Hôtel bien situé mais qui vieillit mal la chambre petite étroite pas du tout confortable. La chambre est salle vraiment salle , à ce demander si les draps sont changes, salle de bain salle m, sol salle…Ils ont oubliés les serviettes. Il y a une piscine sur les toits sympas mais mal entretenu. Je ne comprends qu’on puisse proposer cette hôtel à ce prix là déçus Le personnel est sympas mais pas du tout discret. Notre chambre il ni avait pas de vis à vis sympas. Les rideaux difficilement ouvrable

Amazing day the staff with the various accommodating. We had the double deluxe room which was very spacious and the Aircon was fantastic We were frequent users of the pool and the staff member was very friendly who looked after us very well. I would definitely recommend this place as a UK visitor.

Amazing stay.. the staff were all really helpful and attentive .. the main front bar staff guy was soo funny. The hotel itself I really enjoyed - I’d I was to make any recommendation is for more sun loungers or floating subbed in the pool .. would stop again !

The hotel was well located within the old downtown. We walked to the east gate from there (for the New Year's festivities in particular) and it takes 20 min. We walked to two main 'wats' as well and of course to various restaurants. The beds, linens, pillows, etc were comfy and clean. Rooms had a little fridge, AC, and amenities, and they smelled fine. Breakfast was very good: lots of Asian-style breakfast (which we didn't eat), but enough western-style content, like good-to-excellent fresh fruit, fried eggs, good-to-excellent croissants, jam, yogurt, and cereal. Also, we enjoyed the Asian sweet-bean-paste buns. We didn't try the pool, but it looked clean. Just simple and smallish, but on the roof top! Disliked · The two staff prepping breakfast sometimes had trouble keeping up with the eaters. (Things would run out or not be ready.) Bread products at breakfast could be have been more various. The super textured floor in the bathrooms was kind of weird. It would have been nice if the hotel provided drinking water from a water fountain to refill our water bottles. We hate buying plastic bottles.

Das Lanna Oriental in Chiang Mai ist gut gelegen. Ruhig aber doch zentral. Die Zimmer sind schön gestaltet, mit bequemen Betten. Der Pool hat uns besonders gut gefallen und auch das Fitnessstudio ist mit dem nötigsten ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war gut und das angeschlossene Restaurant bietet den ganzen Tag eine gute Auswahl leckerer Gerichte. Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze auf dem Hotelgelände.

Hotel was exceptional. Staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. Being from the United States it was great the staff spoke English. Our bartender was a pleasant and cheerful personality you will never forget!!! The location was exactly where we wanted to stay. I would highly recommend Lanna Oriental.

Great rooms and service. Near to all in the old city. Still not too much noise. Great staff and swimming pool. The only negative was the breakfast, which was very basic with bad coffee. Will definitely come again.

The room was only ok. It was a bit dated. I didn’t think the cleanliness was up to standard. Quite a lot of black mould in the bathroom. I thought the towels smelt musty even after having them changed. The bedsheets did have some marks on them. Breakfast was just about ok I suppose, but we chose to eat out as it wasn’t up to the standard that we would like. We were on the 3rd floor and were kept up by loud music around the pool when we tried to have a nap in the afternoon after an early morning trip. We slept well 3 out of 4 nights but the bar across the road had a very loud DJ night one night which kept up up until 12:30pm. This would be ok if you were still up and out yourself. This hotel definitely comes bottom of the pile in the list of hotels that we have stayed in sadly.

Finnes bedre. Her var servicen elendig, klokken 05 om morgenen ble det et problem med en pumpe som tilhørte vårt rom, det var svært mye støy fra deg så vi fikk ikke sove. Ringte resepsjonen og forklart problemet, men dem nektet og sa det er ikke noe som er feil på hotellet. Ventet til ca 07 da kom det en arbeider som bekreftet at det var feil med en pumpe, men i følge resepsjonen så var det ikke noe feil, ingen beklagelse og ingen forsøk på å rette opp. Eller så var rommet trangt, ingen sitteplasser, kun en madrass på gulvet. Mye avføring etter gekkoer rundt i tak og på vegger, og ellers støvete. Ellers så var det musikk alle steder, og den kom fra små datahøytalere så lyden var skarp og uklar, jeg var alene i bassenget og ville slappe av, spurte om musikken kunne dempes, men ikke interessert i det.

Stayed there for 4 nights. The hotel itself is in an easy to access location and decorated nicely- however multiple issues were noted during our stay. The fridge and safe in our room was not working at all. On the last 2 nights there was no consistent hot water to shower- it would flip between freezing cold (mainly) or boiling hot every 30seconds. The bathroom was not cleaned well- especially around the edges. The daily room cleaning didn’t really include any cleaning- just emptying the bins and replacing the towels. For a 4star hotel it was lacking, wouldn’t really recommend. Staff were always pleasant and willing to help.

The hotel was close to a convenience store within a few minutes walk and there were some places for food and drinks nearby. The room was quite clean despite there were some visible bits of snacks hiding in the sofa. Beds were comfortable and air-conditioning was nice to keep us cool in summer. Water pressure in bathroom was strong for a relaxing shower and the bath tub was large. Some parts of the showering system was loose and not secured properly but it did not affect the function. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Overall I recommend this hotel for couples or small group of friends traveling together.

Excelente quarto, limpo, não cheira e mofo, equipe de funcionários super educados, café da manhã muito bom. (Apenas deveriam colocar um box no banheiro, pois molha muito ao tomar banho e também suporte para secar as toalhas). No mais é um ótimo hotel e indico.

This property is good value for the price. The coffee shop is good, breakfast is ok and the location allows some walking but is still a little way to the centre of Chiang Mai. The gym is quite functional but the air conditioning doesn’t work and so it is really hot which means it is next to impossible to work out. Breakfast is basic but ok. Rooms are clean and simple. The futon rooms are fine but there isn’t much space around the bed to access the bathroom so it is a little tight. Showers in the bathroom the heads are also a little poor and so replacement would be good

Good location in the old town but hotel should have no more than 3 stars. Bedroom was tiny. Bed was a mattress on the floor. Had to climb over the bed to get into the bathroom. Breakfast was only ok. WiFi was poor.

Clean and nice looking rooms, but not a great value for the area. Room looked lovely, but shower water temp was unsteady and made for a frustrating shower experience. Breakfast was exactly the same as the $30-40/night hotels. Not a terrible experience, but not worth the price.

I loved this hotel, it’s rustic and wonderful. I didn’t love sleeping on a literal mattress on the floor and that everyone at the hotel could see into my room from all angles.

Amazing day the staff with the various accommodating. We had the double deluxe room which was very spacious and the Aircon was fantastic We were frequent users of the pool and the staff member was very friendly who looked after us very well. I would definitely recommend this place as a UK visitor.

Finnes bedre. Her var servicen elendig, klokken 05 om morgenen ble det et problem med en pumpe som tilhørte vårt rom, det var svært mye støy fra deg så vi fikk ikke sove. Ringte resepsjonen og forklart problemet, men dem nektet og sa det er ikke noe som er feil på hotellet. Ventet til ca 07 da kom det en arbeider som bekreftet at det var feil med en pumpe, men i følge resepsjonen så var det ikke noe feil, ingen beklagelse og ingen forsøk på å rette opp. Eller så var rommet trangt, ingen sitteplasser, kun en madrass på gulvet. Mye avføring etter gekkoer rundt i tak og på vegger, og ellers støvete. Ellers så var det musikk alle steder, og den kom fra små datahøytalere så lyden var skarp og uklar, jeg var alene i bassenget og ville slappe av, spurte om musikken kunne dempes, men ikke interessert i det.

Room was excellent. Majority of staff struggle with English even though it is a major tourist area ( I know I don't speak Thai, but in tourism English is required as the more universal language). To be told to come back at 8pm (at 2pm) when the 1 person with a grasp of English would be available is odd. Breakfast was good. Location good.

Hotel was exceptional. Staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. Being from the United States it was great the staff spoke English. Our bartender was a pleasant and cheerful personality you will never forget!!! The location was exactly where we wanted to stay. I would highly recommend Lanna Oriental.

Die Sauberkeit lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Viel Schmutz der sich scheinbar über Jahre angesammelt und festgesetzt hat. Das Frühstück war leider ebenfalls nicht sonderlich gut. Das essen wirkte abgestanden bzw. wurde es schon sehr viel früher zubereitet. Das Personal an der Rezeption war unfreundlich und im Restaurant wurden wir mit sehr gutem Englisch nicht verstanden.

The hotel was well located within the old downtown. We walked to the east gate from there (for the New Year's festivities in particular) and it takes 20 min. We walked to two main 'wats' as well and of course to various restaurants. The beds, linens, pillows, etc were comfy and clean. Rooms had a little fridge, AC, and amenities, and they smelled fine. Breakfast was very good: lots of Asian-style breakfast (which we didn't eat), but enough western-style content, like good-to-excellent fresh fruit, fried eggs, good-to-excellent croissants, jam, yogurt, and cereal. Also, we enjoyed the Asian sweet-bean-paste buns. We didn't try the pool, but it looked clean. Just simple and smallish, but on the roof top! Disliked · The two staff prepping breakfast sometimes had trouble keeping up with the eaters. (Things would run out or not be ready.) Bread products at breakfast could be have been more various. The super textured floor in the bathrooms was kind of weird. It would have been nice if the hotel provided drinking water from a water fountain to refill our water bottles. Lanna is an absolutely charming boutique hotel with pleasant and helpful staff. We specifically loved Jessy at the pool bar! I would recommend booking this stay for anyone looking for comfortable accommodations close to the action in Chiang Mai. We chose a king bed room and it was very comfortable. Black-out curtains in the room help you sleep very well! We stayed at Lanna because we wanted to be in the square. You can walk to plenty of places - including the length of the entire square if you'd like. Lanna is a perfect location because it feels quiet and private, but you can walk out and be part of the city at any time. We walked to some places and took a TukTuk to others. I would stay here again and recommend it to others!

A very good and affordable hotel - would say budget end. The main tourist district of the old city is perhaps a good 15-20 min walk. Alternatively, can use the Grab taxi app for pretty cheap transport - around Thb 150 to town (US$ 4). There are also dining and cafe options to the south which are just 10 mins walk away.

Great hotel with romantic vibes. Lovely sunset by their pool. Easy location to access the town without the noise of the city center. Skip the coffee at their bar, there are lots of cafes near by. But do pick up their banana sticky rice. It's only 25 B and you won't regret it.

The room was only ok. It was a bit dated. I didn’t think the cleanliness was up to standard. Quite a lot of black mould in the bathroom. I thought the towels smelt musty even after having them changed. The bedsheets did have some marks on them. Breakfast was just about ok I suppose, but we chose to eat out as it wasn’t up to the standard that we would like. We were on the 3rd floor and were kept up by loud music around the pool when we tried to have a nap in the afternoon after an early morning trip. We slept well 3 out of 4 nights but the bar across the road had a very loud DJ night one night which kept up up until 12:30pm. This would be ok if you were still up and out yourself. This hotel definitely comes bottom of the pile in the list of hotels that we have stayed in sadly.

This property is good value for the price. The coffee shop is good, breakfast is ok and the location allows some walking but is still a little way to the centre of Chiang Mai. The gym is quite functional but the air conditioning doesn’t work and so it is really hot which means it is next to impossible to work out. Breakfast is basic but ok. Rooms are clean and simple. The futon rooms are fine but there isn’t much space around the bed to access the bathroom so it is a little tight. Showers in the bathroom the heads are also a little poor and so replacement would be good

Das Lanna Oriental in Chiang Mai ist gut gelegen. Ruhig aber doch zentral. Die Zimmer sind schön gestaltet, mit bequemen Betten. Der Pool hat uns besonders gut gefallen und auch das Fitnessstudio ist mit dem nötigsten ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war gut und das angeschlossene Restaurant bietet den ganzen Tag eine gute Auswahl leckerer Gerichte. Es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze auf dem Hotelgelände.
