Bathroom without door. Host is not friendly

Right in the center of town

The good: Room well decorated, comfortable and clean. The bad: Access to all rooms is by a narrow, even dangerous, spiral staircase. No hand rails. Good lighting but steep. Very noisy from bar/restaurant until 11:30 pm. The unacceptable: Our reserved room was given away and we were placed in a smaller room several floors of stairs higher, and one in our party is handicapped. We were charged the same fee although this smaller room is listed for less on hotels.com. The accessibility issue meant that we could not leave and come back as often as we would normally have because of the risk on the stairs. This defeated the purpose of visiting the town. I cannot recommend this hotel.

Great location and hotel has coded access. Just had to phone on arrival to get details.

We loved this place in the middle of beautiful Honfleur!!! I’ve already recommended it to my granddaughter ! I was worried when we got there because it is a self checkin with codes,etc. It would have been much better if I’d read my emails 😁 It has a very narrow and step staircase, and the building is old. It has been beautifully renovated and has kept its old world charm without neglecting its modern amenities. I highly recommend this charmer.
