We couldn’t enter the hotel because they were gates up everywhere and nowhere to even enter to check in. Once we were able to get over this hump, we had to pay $16 to park. Area was very sketchy to say the least, For that reason alone, I would never stay there again. Hotel was clean. The rooms were nice but I’d like to feel safe for I’m staying and not pay $16 to park.

Pleasantly surprised! This hotel is up to date and the rooms are extremely nice and big! They have a nice pool that is indoor/outdoor that our 3 year old loved. Room service was good, prices are kinda high but we felt it was worth it rather than driving around Oakland for food. We called down for extra towels and they brought them extremely fast. Their free breakfast was good too! Definitely would stay here again!

Clean, nice sized bedrooms and bathrooms and convenient to the airport. I thought the shuttle to the airport would be free but apparently it is not as I found a $10 charge for transportation on the invoice.

The room was very clean and the bed nice and comfortable. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Their lobby restaurant, London Bar & Grill, had excellent food and great service. This is going to be a regular pit stop when coming in and out of the Bay Area!

Nice hotel!! Clean with spacious rooms. Room was nicely appointed and large. Beds were very comfortable. Restaurant/bar was excellent. Good food and service! Shuttle service to/from Oakland airport was very convenient and drivers were polite and professional. Will definitely stay here again in the future!!

Everything great, except they sent a Holiday Inn van to pick up passengers at the Oakland Airport instead of a Springhill Marriott Shuttle, which had me waiting about 30 minutes to get to the hotel, which was only abut 3 minutes away.

This is a great property to stay at right next to the Oakland international airport, 3mins drive. They offer a shuttle 24/7. I arrived on a Friday night. Easy quick check-in and very friendly staff. The whole area inside and out was clean, exactly like photos. Parking area was safe and well lit.

With one exception, this was a great place to stay. We liked the location close to OAK and the car rental center, and easy access to I80. Having a bar and restaurant next to the lobby was another plus. The front desk staff was friendly and responsive. BUT, for some unexplained reason, the housekeepers skipped our room for 2 days in a row, so we had to call for fresh towel and supplies.

Our room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. There was a nice sofa for lounging and watching TV which could also turn into a trundle bed if we had more guests. There was also a refrigerator and microwave which were convenient. The room was quiet and the bed soft and relaxing. We had an early flight the next morning and the airport shuttle was waiting for us. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to have any of the complimentary breakfast. We will definitely return. Great stay for a reasonable price.

Pleased with this hotel. Very clean, but thin ceilings, floors and walls. I heard all walking above me and i could hear the water from toilets flushing and showers. I could clearly hear everyone coming out of the elevator. Needed earplugs to sleep.

A Wonderful Stay at SpringHill Suites Marriott Hotel! I had a fantastic experience at the SpringHill Hotel. if you are traveling through Oakland airport and need a place to stay, STAY HERE. Super friendly staff present, from the time we were picked up by their shuttle, through check-in, and then dinner at the bar. Surprisingly good food, had salmon salad and chicken wings....great selection of draft beers (including local) and even a few good wines. Breakfast the next day featured (real) scrambled eggs, smoked bacon, great oatmeal, and many bread choices, The chef came out to say hello and bus some tables, even provide some coffee refills.....are you kidding me?? The property is new (4 years old) and is immaculately clean. We saw several flight crews here, along with some MC clubs, ALL PEACEFUL, people just hanging out. We will also be staying here when completing our trip back home. Do yourself a favor and STAY HERE!

The hotel staff was amazing. How ever the parking security they use is horrible, they blocked the whole parking lot off and we moved the gate to park only to have security come as us and tell us to leave the property, and no matter how many times I explained we are paying guests he refused to listen and threatened to call police over and over and became aggressive walking towards me and my child my husband was Not ok with that. Security went into hotel lobby and spoke with hotel staff which caused an embarrassing scene but hotel staff was amazing to me and my family ( children) and walked outside to view that the whole parking lot was blocked and tried to make sense of what security pulled. I will be calling corporate and hope to resolve this issue as this stay was awful, but again the hotel and staff we kind and very professional during this.

Friendly staff, good size room, clean, comfortable. We enjoyed a nice salad in the evening at their bar/restaurant. Free breakfast in the morning before departing wasn't so great (cold and greasy for the most part) but found yogurt and fruit which was nice. Easy access to and from the airport as well as rental returns. Would recommend.

Room was perfect for our mini stay wit my kid and comfortable beds/room, dinning on site was perfect. The food was delish we had fish & chips, wing and salmon salad. The disappointing thing was breakfast nothing really special dry scones. No toast or croissants just muffins and scones. Breakfast sandwiches pretty dry no flavor. I expected better from Marriott hotel

Springhill Suites in Oakland didn't disappoint. Felt safe as soon as we pulled in. Beautiful and clean. Breakfast was on point. I really appreciate the gentleman in the breakfast area. My daughter was looking for waffles so he brought them out for her. He was very polite and happy to be there, just as we were. Our stay was wonderful. Thank you!
