We stayed for five nights, and while the room was freshened up throughout our stay, it could have benefited from a bit more dusting. The most delicious meals, the most quiet and beautiful room, plus an amazing shower, the spa massage was extraordinary, the pools, sauna, and steam room, but the best part was the staff—-they made everything perfect. So very kind and helpful. Shout out especially to Marta(bar), and Julianna ( spa). Hate to leave.

This is the best place I’ve stayed in a long time. The welcome we received (port tasting, conversation, upgrades) is beyond what you get at other hotels. The facilities are great. Indoor pool, sauna, steam and fitness room all great. It’s right in the heart of old town Porto and a 5 min walk to the river front. Tons of food, attractions and more around.

We arrived in a berry bad rain weather in a rental car Not possible to park near the hotel, and the staff really didn’t care. You need to park in the nearest parking garage apparently 250 m to walk with you luggage and the rain. Bad service not to have a better solution regarding parking.

A beautiful hotel in the centre of the Ribeira district. The staff are exceptional, charming and helpful. The two pools are lovely and peaceful, relaxing places. The bedroom was very spacious, clean and modern with a very comfortable bed and a good shower. The breakfast is amazing. Thank you for looking after us so well and making my birthday special.

This is an amazing hotel. We had a room in the modern part which had a balcony overlooking the cathedral. The facilities are outstanding, although the fitness room is a bit small. While located on a busy pedestrian mall, our room faced the other way and was absolutely quiet. The buffet breakfast (included) was the best I have every had. The staff went out of the way to respond to all our needs. They opened up the fitness room two hours early just for me. The only thing that was not perfect was that the room lacked a comfortable chair. There was only a chaise lounge and a seat without a back. However, the staff found a great chair to bring to our room to remedy this issue.

Overall, a really nice property located in a very central location. A bit tricky if you have lots of luggage, as some taxis can’t bring you to the door. Beautifully renovated historical building with a good breakfast. Rooms were relatively clean, building layout was a bit strange (but that’s because of a renovated historical building) and staff were friendly and accommodating. No issues, a solid 8.5/10.

Stayed for 3 nights in March. Wonderful hotel, very clean with nice amenities and a wonderful, attentive staff. Great location in close promixity to shops, restaurants and attractions. One of the best hotels that I have stayed at in Europe. Had a large, well appointed room with a private part of the patio just out the french doors of our room with a beautiful view of the pool and cathedral. Would stay here again and again!

The room was beautiful and spacious. The bathroom/shower very large, especially for Europe. The only hitch we had was the A/C was not working well in our room. They offered to move us to another room that was smaller. We opted to stay in the larger room as it had a balcony and we left the doors/windows open. It was fine the first night but the second night was very loud outside.

True 5 star hotel, great location, but two downsides: 1- Our room, despite it's being a spacious upgrade, was very dark because the entire window area was about 2' by 4' with a great view of peoples legs strolling the narrow alley outside. Avoid room 217, should be a storage area. 2- Paid extra for breakfast at booking. It was extremely meager. The second day we just went outside.

This hotel is perfectly located in the city, and it so unique! It is modern and beautiful! The service was outstanding and the staff were all so kind and helpful. It was my husband and I's 15 year anniversary and this was the ONLY place that went out of their way to surprise us with a little gift in our room. It meant so much. I would highly recommend getting the room with the city/cathedral view, it hands down was unbelievable and made the experience top notch. Sofia was amazing and went out of her way to help us with reservations and other small details that just made our stay perfect. The only small thing to note; is there is not great bright light in this room's bathroom for any ladies that need this for makeup purposes (not sure how it is in other rooms).

Amazing stay, upon arrival till late checkout, staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. The only minor downside was the hotel restaurant qas really underwhelming and the service was very poor. Other than that it was a joyful experience and I would recommend it all the way. Their food truck is worth a detour too for a little afternoon snack.

We stayed here for three nights and had an excellent experience. Everything from the moment we stepped through the doors (actually, right before that, because the kind man at the door was a delight throughout our entire stay!) to the moment we left was fantastic. Where do I even begin with this review? This hotel and all of its staff exceeded every expectation imaginable. The hotel is gorgeous, in prime location and made what would have been a nice trip to Porto beyond amazing. The rooms, the pools, the breakfast were all fantastic, but above all, we were so touched by the care, attention and generosity of each member of the staff. I am terrible with names, but everyone from Claudia and all of her amazing colleagues have mastered the art of hospitality and all deserve raises. I don’t know when I will have a chance to return to Porto, but I would do it just to stay here again. In my 40 years and almost 40 countries, I never think to leave a review but this place deserves all the praises. Simply put, thank you.

we enjoyed our stay. 2 issues room we were given faced first floor of 2 intersecting streets, thus could not open curtains, when we left, we ask for cab, never came, thus missed our train to Lisbon. was too late when they advised an uber.

This is the best place I’ve stayed in a long time. The welcome we received (port tasting, conversation, upgrades) is beyond what you get at other hotels. The facilities are great. Indoor pool, sauna, steam and fitness room all great. It’s right in the heart of old town Porto and a 5 min walk to the river front. Tons of food, attractions and more around.

What a great location! It's mid-way on the semi-pedestrian Rua das Flores. There's a constant parade in front of the hotel. Restaurants, shopping, buskers in abundance a few feet away. [We ate breakfast nearby instead of in the hotel.] We had dumped our car at the airport. We took an Uber to the hotel, but taking a taxi is better. Cabs have access to Rua das Flores whereas our Uber had to leave us off on a side street instead. If you have much luggage, a taxi is better. Staff was absurdly attentive--learning and using most of our names when we wandered in or out. We loved the small outdoor pool and took breaks there on successive afternoons. You sometimes felt you needed breadcrumbs to follow from your room back to the lobby. A labyrinthe! But the rooms were delightful. We had drinks in the lobby bar and a decent lunch at the hotel restaurant. It was a great cap to our trip to Portugal.

We arrived in a berry bad rain weather in a rental car Not possible to park near the hotel, and the staff really didn’t care. You need to park in the nearest parking garage apparently 250 m to walk with you luggage and the rain. Bad service not to have a better solution regarding parking.

True 5 star hotel, great location, but two downsides: 1- Our room, despite it's being a spacious upgrade, was very dark because the entire window area was about 2' by 4' with a great view of peoples legs strolling the narrow alley outside. Avoid room 217, should be a storage area. 2- Paid extra for breakfast at booking. It was extremely meager. The second day we just went outside.

Excellent stay. Staff couldn’t do more for you. Breakfast was fantastic - huge range, fresh and the daily smoothies were particularly good. Pool area has a great view across the city and is stocked with ice water. Room was quiet and spacious. Hotel was central so location was excellent. Definitely would recommend to anyone coming to Porto.

Amazing stay, upon arrival till late checkout, staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. The only minor downside was the hotel restaurant qas really underwhelming and the service was very poor. Other than that it was a joyful experience and I would recommend it all the way. Their food truck is worth a detour too for a little afternoon snack.

A very small hotel, a bit too small for me, with the feeling you are being watched. Breakfast was not brilliant for a 5 star hotel. Only one toilet in hotel apart from the bedroom which wasnt always clean.

A beautiful hotel in the centre of the Ribeira district. The staff are exceptional, charming and helpful. The two pools are lovely and peaceful, relaxing places. The bedroom was very spacious, clean and modern with a very comfortable bed and a good shower. The breakfast is amazing. Thank you for looking after us so well and making my birthday special.

Enjoyed a large group (9) dining experience with outstanding menu choices, well prepared, tasted fantastic. A lovely wine list and complete bar. We felt pampered our entire stay. Only one minor suggestion, make room for a second large rolling suitcase. A fun city, we will return & stay again with Casa da Companhia.

Shout out to Rae who checked us in and showed us around the hotel facilities. The rooms are very comfortable, as is the bed. Enjoyed having the large bathroom with two sinks - made sharing a bathroom very easy. We also used the indoor leisure facilities. Pool a bit chilly but loungers comfy. Food at this hotel was tasty and not over priced. We are hoping to stay again very soon. Thank you for looking after us so well.
