Very comfortable and convenient. Limited parking spots but we got a space each night of our stay. There is a public garage across the street. Staff very helpful, very clean and a good breakfast. Very good hotel at a reasonable price.

The room was great. We had a nice patio. Staff was very accommodating. The location was perfect. Excellent breakfast! Note, there are very few hotel parking spots available. Public parking in surrounding area can be pricey.

We liked this hotel and the staff was very friendly/helpful. It's in downtown but a block or two from the 'heart' so a little quieter than another hotel we stayed at. Modern hotel, good breakfast and a few (10) on-site parking spaces, first come/first served. We would stay here again.

We had a very good experience overall at the hotel. The breakfast buffet was incredible! The staff were great—helpful & friendly. The bedroom & bathroom were small/compact in comparison to our experiences when traveling in other countries. Our only complaint was when we grabbed a “clean” hand towel, someone’s false eyelashes were attached! The front desk remedied this & provided a total set of new towels & wash clothes. But how this had slipped past the housekeeping staff was disconcerting.

The location is great, right in the city center. Everything can be reached by foot and there are a lot of restaurants, coffee shops and stores around there. The hotel belongs together with some other "center" hotels so if you are lucky you can use the SPA or the gym in a nearby hotel. Our room was nice even though we booked Deluxe Room (as there was nothing else available) but got one that was exactly like Standard Room :( The room was clean but the bathroom was terrible, it was smelling like urine the whole time. We asked for cleaning but nothing changed. That was really disgusting. Personal at the reception was very nice but the personal at the breakfast was terrible: super stressed, rude, pushing, removing stuff before you are done, sweeping under your table while you are still eating... Breakfast was good, just the eggs were smelling strange. The parking is a bit of a problem. They only have 10 spots and we never saw even one empty. There is a possibility to park on the street, there are different parking zones and you can pay by Parka app. There is a garage just by the hotel but it's expensive. Also, you should not stop in front of the hotel, not even to let the other person out of the car as the officials just pass by, take a photo and you get some surprising tickets.

Windows filthy, access to balcony via shower. Balcony in photo, was actually your neighbors! -very weird/embarrassing moment. Lighting in main room area completely inadequate. 1 ceiling light in corner and two dim bedside lamps. Breakfast was great.

Very clean and decent hotel. Breakfast was good and staff was very nice. The noise heard in the room was a dealbreaker for me. My room was ground level and I was awakened several times by loud cars and people because the windows are not sound proof.

This hotel is at a very good location without being in the absolute center of the crowded shopping district. Still, all the things you want to do are within walking distance. The hotel is clean, modern and the staff is helpful and friendly. The room we had was rather small, which in itself was not a problem, but I’m not a fan of the layout. There was no place to open up your luggage without blocking the path around the bed. Storage was minimal and there was not enough space under the bed to place your luggage when not in use. The blackout curtains did a nice job of blocking out the midnight sun so that could get proper rest. The bathroom was good, but the shower was very small and dark since lighting was minimal and the dark gray shower curtain filtered out most of the light. The included a buffet breakfast, which was excellent - a great way to start off your morning.

This is my second time staying here, once with my husband and once on a work trip, and it’s been a great experience both times. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and contemporary, and there’s a nice bar and restaurant with a hearty included breakfast buffet. Location is great and within easy walking distance of most of the city’s top spots and attractions. I would only recommend staying in a room that doesn’t face Laugavegur Street as it was a bit noisy at night.

Nice hotel, - little loud at night with ppl yelling on street so recommend staying on parking lot side of building. Beds a bit too soft, rooms very nice and great location. Most of the employees are nice but one was pretty rude when I asked her to fill my water bottle with ice at the hotel bar before leaving for the airport. She said ok but kept asking guests their room number (to serve breakfast) who weren’t even in line. I explained I had to go quickly to my car to catch a flight and could I have my water bottle back even without ice but she did not give it back to me right away and kept asking more customers their room number. I basically had to grab it back from her (without ice) to leave on time. I understand if she was too busy to fill it she just could have said no but holding onto it so I could not go was annoying. Still highly recommend this hotel despite this interaction.

The room was TINY! We had a double bed for my husband and I and could barely move around the room. No space on the side of the bed to get up comfortably and walk around. Very clean and updated. Bed was comfortable.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself was rather small, but the bathroom was large. The hotel is not air conditioned - be sure to get a room away from the noisy street side because you have to open the windows to get ventilation. Breakfast was pretty good, but the scrambled eggs were not good because they were of the instant variety.

It was a lovely stay, enjoyed breakfast every morning. The staff was very accommodating, even let me check in early without any additional fees. Nice hotel, the only thing I could complain about was that although I had a very nice and spacious room with all windows facing the street, it was a bit noisy with the spiked snow tires on the roadway below, and maybe a bus horn blowing early in the morning.

The staff were so friendly and helpful! Especially appreciated that we could lock up our luggage until check in. They had a surprise treat waiting for us in the room to help celebrate a birthday. Breakfast buffet was wonderful and fresh, and the staff were very on top of clearing dishes and tables as well as keeping the buffet well stocked. Came back one night to live Icelandic music which was really good. Funky hotel with a fun vibe and we would return as the location was very convenient to bus stop #9 and local shopping and downtown area.

This is our preferred hotel in Reykavik. The staff are wonderful, especially at reception who are always helpful, the hotel is clean and comfortable, and the location is great (close to the main streets and bus transport). Highly recommend.

Checked in at 2:00am after a very long flight and the staff could not find our reservation... they somehow gave our room to someone else under my name eariler in the evening... so they made us stand around at 2am while they tried to figure what happened, instead of giving us a room and then figuring out how they messed up. It was very frustrating. Everything else was good at the hotel. Great location, good breakfast. Parking is very limited; only 10 spaces behind the building, so we had to park elsewhere & pay for it... That was disappointing since I booked this hotel because it offered free parking. They did not offer the VIP perk that expedia said would be available to us there...

Great location. Bus stop #9 is right outside the hotel so very easy pick up/drop off for tour and airport buses. Very walkable to dining and shopping and the waterfront. Room was spacious and comfortable. Nice bathroom with good water pressure. Excellent breakfast. I would stay here again!

Great hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect- bus stop 9 is right at the hotel and many of our tours used bus stop 9 as a pick up/drop off point. Great breakfast with many choices. Lots of good shopping nearby as well.

Great customer service at check in and check out. I had a 6:30am flight, so I needed to check out in time for the 4:10am shuttle to the airport. Staff suggested I could get a quick breakfast - some of which had already been set up for the day (toast, fruit, yogurt, etc.). The hotel is wonderfully convenient to the airport. The hotel was pretty clean Except for a few hairs that we found on the bed. There was also a funny sewage smell that came and went but as we weren’t staying for long we tolerated it. Breakfast was okay - basic selection of hot and cold foods but was let down by the quality of the coffee. All the staff we came across were friendly. All in all not a bad place to use as a base for a short stay

Very modern, fun (quirky?) place to stay right at "Bus Stop 9" in Reykjavik. We got the breakfast, which was a very nice buffet. Highly effective blackout curtains, which are a must during Spring/Summer in Iceland! :-)

Nice breakfast and comfortable rooms. We didn't get in until really early like 1am and they were very helpful. On the 2nd morning we had to leave early so we all got bagged breakfasts included. The location is right on the edge of old town and even better is at a bus stop for the airport and pickup for all the tours.
