Tirana Marriott Hotel

We just spent two nights at the Marriott. The staff was overall very friendly, especially at the front desk and the M Lounge. We really enjoyed the M Lounge, which was very nice and with excellent service. The room itself was not very good at all. The air con did not work properly and the water from the shower comes out, the room itself was very cramped (it was a King M Club room) and even the space for the suitcase could not be used, because it only fits a small one. The breakfast at Terra was average and the service not really good, because there were just too few staff handling the drinks orders. One aspect the hotel really needs to take care of is the taxi transfer to the airport. When we checked in, we were told the hotel would be able to order a fixed rate cab with card payment. When we checked out we ordered a taxi through the front desk and were reassured by staff that it was a fixed rate at 1500 ALL and card payment. The Merr Taxi (that was the company - DO NOT use them) was not fixed, we were charged 2500 ALL via meter and the driver was really rude when we asked to pay by card - even though we had agreed everything in advance. It is really a matter of principal here and the hotel needs to work with a reliable taxi company. It was really a nuisance, since we had been reassured twice by the hotel and then to find out that nothing was as had been agreed. This was the one negative experience we had during our time in Albania. Otherwise we experienced kindness and hosp

It’s was a great place and stay the only problem was parking because it says included but when I got there I had to pay every day for the parking

Bellissimo hotel situato in centro a tirana, perfettamente in linea con gli standard della catena Marriott, personale molto gentile e attento a tutte le esigenze dei clienti, bellissime le camere, molto spaziose e con un arredamento curato nei minimi dettagli, bellissimo anche il club lounge dove potersi rilassare a qualunque ora del giorno mangiando qualche snack o gustando un delizioso aperitivo, ottima anche la colazione a buffet, cibo di qualità, il migliore hotel di tirana!

The hotel is great for everymatter only minus is the entry and reception area which is quite small and not conveniently planned for such a big 5 star hotel.It was rather like 3 star hotel enterance.Besides there was no concierge ready to handle our suitcases on arrival and leave to help us therefore we had to carry them up and down by ourselves and to the taxi during the check-in and check-out.This was rather like hostel wise rather then a 5 start famous brand hotel.

No connection with the parking, and the days when is soccer game it’s impossible to get to the hotel , and unsafe from soccer fans

The fact that the app stated parking is included and no parking included. Stopping in front of the hotel to unload the suitcases was a pain since no one would do valet and the person at the door keeps on reminding is not allowed to park…meanwhile there are others that have parked cars there.

Great location , super clean, and everything in the room is in great condition like brand new. All the staff is extremely friendly and super helpful.

We had an excellent stay at the Marriott in Tirana. The hotel is modern and exceptionally clean. The staff are polite and friendly. The area is fantastic, with many amenities on site and within walking distance to the centre of Tirana. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I had such a great time in Tirana while staying at Tirana Marriott. We are pleased with the service from the hotel staff, especially the receptionist Elizabeth. She was polite and efficient, and made us feel welcome. However, the cleanliness of the room needs some improvements.

Mr Denis was especially helpful to check me in quickly and to arrange a room for my friend too. However I didn’t get the king bed room I paid for. And the windows don’t isolate the terrible noise of cars drifting in the square in front of the hotel

It was a great experience! Modern and clean hotel rooms! After being in air bnbs most of the trip, this was a sigh of relief and just comfy! Highly recommend! Only con was the wifi was so annoying to get set-up lol but it’s doable.

Amazing stay, best hotel I have stayed at in the Balkans. Super friendly and engaged staff, good food, spectacular view and gorgeous rooms.

AC didnt work & window could not be opened. Even after an hour of service, the room temp barely touched 21.5C (when outside temp was 12C). Room air quality absolutely terrible. The first night I barely slept a wink. Staff on the whole wanted to be helpful, but their eagerness was not matched by their competence. From weird claims of AC being so powerful that guests would catch a cold as a result, to having to spend half hour to get the wifi working (after having to listen to their theorizing that the issue was the device....), the overall take is try and avoid their laborious assistance. After realizing that the breakfast service was buffet, and the dining hall full with people waiting with plate in hand, I opted for breakfast in nearby outside cafes - which is what I'd recommend - that is unless you like standing in line. Its possible the other hotels offer comparable quality, nevertheless I dont recommend this Marriot. I will certainly not stay there again.

Great location. Close to amazing restaurants and a short walk to city centre. Our room had a view of the local soccer stadium- so if you want a bird’s eye view book room 908. Unfortunately the curtain wasn’t working and the toilet wasn’t working properly.. and they’re very lean on coffee/tea so you’ll need to ask housekeeping. Pricing for drinks in the bar are expensive compared to the price of Era, an authentic Armenian restaurant within a 2 minute walk.

Good hotel, quiet and comfortable but very odd electrics. Twice one night the lights randomly clicked and turned themselves off. Likewise sometimes a light just wouldn’t turn off in the bathroom. Minor things but overall a good hotel

The hotel staff gave me an outstanding hospitality to make my stay in Albania extremely productive and enjoyable. I just can't thank them all enough.

The hotel wouldn't let us check in early, even though they said it wasn't full. Room was clean and usefull. Staff is okey

Beautiful property very clean and professional the only thing I didn’t like is the employees look down on. You if you aren’t dressed very nice to go have a coffee at there cafe.

Das Hotel sieht außen und innen sehr modern, sauber und gepflegt aus. Auch das Frühstück hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Auf den Roomservice mussten wir abends allerdings 1,5 h statt 35 Minuten warten, und dass trotz mehrfachen Nachfragens. Das fanden wir für 5 Sterne nicht in Ordnung. Erwartet hätten wir, dass man sich selbstständig bei uns meldet und uns über die Verzögerung informiert.

An excellent experience and excellent service on the part of ALL the staff. They were all very professional and helped us enjoy a very pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff went above and beyond. Spoke lovely English. The facility was very nice and well-maintained. The area around the hotel was not as nice. There was shopping and a casino near by if you are into that.

Wellness very small, there is no realaxing zone - breakfast first day very good, second day not aviable (changed from 7 to 9 am without any comunication
