Property is our favorite in GJ. Clean, modern, helpful friendly staff, good breakfast, and fun games in the lobby!

Really really nice place just my only complaint is that there was no microwave in my room. I had a fridge and no microwave.?????? it could’ve been the only room without one I don’t know and when you use the swimming pool it’s actually across the street at another hotel. That was interesting.

This is a great hotel. You walk in from the parking lot into a bright and cheerful lobby/lounge/front desk area with an abundance of cool furniture. There's a pool table, sit down video game table, and other games like giant jenga. The front desk has a little convenience store selling snacks and beverages (including alcohol) and they have a happy hour. In the elevator waiting area they have signs that let you know the local's favorite things to do and eat. The hotel is CLEAN, everywhere. Our double queen room was nice. The beds were comfortable. The room furniture is open concept - there are no traditional dressers and the closet is open but there are plenty of storage options. There was a mini fridge and large tv. The bathroom was big. The hotel is downtown, a block away from main street where there are endless dining, shopping, and entertainment choices. It's also close to everything. It's in a great location. The breakfast is pretty standard free hotel breakfast with multiple options. The pancake machine is a little slow, but insider tip: you can "wave" at it while it's cooking one set so that it starts another while the next person waits. The only thing I did not like about the hotel was the daily parking fee that is added on to your bill. It's a junk fee that should be built in to your original booking fee. My family and I absolutely loved our stay and would stay here again - in fact I WANT to stay here again! Highly recommend!

Having to pay for parking in grand junction is ridiculous. We are not a downtown area

Although this property was marketed as pet friendly, it is not. There is one area designated made of artificial turf in a corner in front of a handicap parking space. Poor use of space and there is no other options in the surrounding area to accommodate a pet. Pet deposit and pay for parking was not clearly stated by the property. Checkout experience was poor to say the least.

Stayed one night for a concert at the Avalon Theatre. Very convenient for walking to local restaurants & theatre. Close to everything downtown. Staff was beyond helpful and friendly. Room was very clean, beds super comfy, everything was great. Newer facility with snacks/drinks and pool table in lobby. Great stay, thank you! Would stay again for sure.

Convenient downtown location, easy parking and check in, clean and functional rooms. Fun lobby area with games/pool/space to hang out. "Speak easy" bar just outside the door. Near train tracks, so you may hear them in the night.

Everything was really nice & great. The staff was super friendly. Only dislikes were them not having any grass for the dogs to pee. There's a tiny turf area. Consider adding grass in places rather than rocks.

This hotel was very nice for grand junction. It was quiet, clean, staff was lovely and the convenience of being walking distance from mainstreet was a huge plus.

I always check rooms immediately when we get inside. There was hair in the shower drain. I pointed it out and Patricia was very kind and handled the situation. She send a houseman to clean up the shower. When we checked out the next day I also received an apology. Front desk saved the day. The customer service absolutely made a difference in my impression of the hotel. Well done.

Floor was a little dirty and hall needed a quick vacuum over it but it wasn’t terrible.

Our room was very dirty. Under the beds were disgusting and the room had a sign saying use under the beds for additional storage, no way! We pushed the bed to the side a little and there were nail clippings, flossers, dust, and other small debris. Looks like junk was continuously swept under the bed for months. There were hairs in the shower. The night stand was sticky. There were some stains on the sheets and towels. Also, the room was much smaller than anticipated. The first room photos are actually accessible rooms so the space looks wider. Our room was a pretty tight squeeze between the front and beds. The best parts of the stay were the games in the lobby, friendly staff, and the pancake machine. I would not stay at this property again and am thinking I'll be avoiding Tru properties moving forward.

this hotel is new which helps, but think it may have been one of the cleanest I have ever been in !! Great staff too

Was next to the ice machine and it was noisy all night. Also, they did not tell me there would be a fee for parking. Plenty of usb ports tho.

room were smaller than normal hotel use to. no microwave. no coffee pot. even though they have all night coffee i don't want to go downstair.

Rooms were clean but very small. No closet ( only hooks on wall). Did not care for the liquid hand and body soap.

Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast each day was pretty nice, there were lots of options. Staff was always friendly and helpful. I was on the 5th floor so had a nice view. The only drawback was there is a train that goes by in the morning. I get up around 6 so it wasnt a problem for me as it came later, but some may find it an annoyance. The hotel itself was very quiet. Overall it was very nice, I would stay here again.

First let me say the staff was excellent. A true credit. The facility was clean, the breakfast average for that tier of hotel. However, the rooms are small. I mean small like you cannot even pass each other at the end of the bed small. Like a small motel room small. For the money we were disappointed. Wanted to just try out a new hotel in downtown Grand Junction from our regular stay. The price was almost identical. Wish we could move the staff over to our old hotel, which we will be moving back to on our next stay.

I was really disappointed with my stay especially concerning the price I paid for one night's stay. The room was small and stuffy. The heating/cooling unit was noisy and hard to adjust.There was no in room coffee and no microwave. Breakfast was normal hotel food --powdered eggs, overly salty breakfast meat, oatmeal that tasted like mush. This so so place had resort prices.

The property was nice, modern, and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Tricia at the front desk helped to fix a booking error and was very nice! The hotel is in a good location and there are several restaurants, bars, and shopping about a block away. The room was small, but adequate. The only negative item of note was the bed…it was very hard.

We were awoken by the smoke alarm chirping in the middle of the night. Ended up needing to pack up and change rooms. Needless to say this was a disruption. When asked about compensation in the morning they said because this was pre-paid, they couldn't adjust but we could take some snacks. Nice hotel, but unhappy with how the hotel handled the situation. Also, when looking at my credit card statement this morning, it appears that I have another charge for $11 which appears to be parking....nothing stated that we would be charged for parking. Hotel - please disclose all fees.

Emily helped us check in at midnight. She was extremely efficient, helpful, and kind. She had a smile on her face the entire time which was a wonderful thing to see at the end of a long day.

We booked late & the Hilton app did not process our digital checkin fast enough. This allowed us to checkin in person and met the nicest young lady at the desk. Skip digital checkin, meet nice people!

No signs on the front of the building. I had to park on the street and walk through a recreation area to find out if this was the property. Located directly across the street from an outdoor facility for homeless. Very unsafe area!!

The building and staff are wonderful. The rooms are clean. There's a homeless shelter across the street which causes numerous unhoused people to gather around the Hilton. About 30-40 people on average at all hours of the day.

Breakfast was late being put out

They were out of eggs and sausage and it took them 10 minutes to refresh. Orange juice was watered down a lot.

There was someone coughing all night in the room adjacent to ours. There was no coffee maker in the room. Based on the price of this hotel, this is a bit disappointing. Secondary, the breakfast was lack luster for sure.

Everything but the breakfast was great. The pancake maker was not working properly and took so long to produce one pancake that I gave up.

Breakfast was just a bunch of overly processed foods to be eaten on single use paper and plastics. The shades in our room didn’t work so that it only could be raised like a quarter of the way. When I talked to someone on the Hilton app, they told me that the best view was on one side of the building (even numbers) but it seemed by all accounts that they were on the other side. Lastly, upon checkout I was charged $11 for parking - I never used the hotels parking and when checking in I explicitly didn’t ask for the parking. This is something I’ve seen other people complain about (getting “scammed” into the parking fee), so it seems like it’s a real problem. To be fair, when I called them they immediately removed the charge, but why was it there in the first place?
