Great 4-night family stay. Wonderful location: central but not noisy. The hotel is well maintained. The family room size is ok but definitely not huge. The inside courtyard with the pool is lovely. The pool is too small for proper swimming but for keeping the kids entertained for a couple of hours every day - it does the job, Breakfast was good: good choice and high quality. Helpful staff.

Our stay started off in the wrong foot as, despite having a confirmed reservation, we were told we cannot all stay in the family room and were forced to book an additional room, which, to top it off, was on another floor and completely opposite side of the hotel. The stay itself was fine. The beds were comfortable (but creaky). On the second day the room was not cleaned until very late in the afternoon when we were using the showers and so was not a good time. Dirty cups were not changed at all throughout the stay. On the upside, the pool is a nice bonus which the kids enjoyed. Breakfast is pricy (with good cheaper options within 1-2 minutes walk), but had good variety - worth it if you eat late and skip lunch. Overall it’s not a bad option for families, especially if you spend more than a day or two and want to a bit more space, pool etc.

Second stay at this hotel. Wife and daughter this time. They were well looked after from check in to check out. Only thing was breakfast was quite expensive when there are local cafes that were cheaper and better options. That said we would return to this hotel if travelling to Porto again.

Rooms were clean, staff were pleasant and helpful. We arrived very late in the night due to our flight time but the check in process remained very smooth.
