PROs 1. Convenient location, about a 3-minute walk to hostel (once you figure out the best subway exit...). 2. Staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. 3. Underbed lockers and privacy curtains. 4. Lots of restaurants in immediate vicinity, including the one next door which serves 'home style' traditional cooking 5. Reasonably priced. 6. Free luggage storage. IMPROVEMENTS/THINGS TO CONSIDER: 1. Need more showers. Only 3 female showers between several rooms in my floor. Having said that, I surprisingly never had to wait. 2. An evening bathroom cleanup would be great. 3. Hooks in the room for coats or wet towels would be great. 4. It's a bit of a walk to the river/edge of the Old Town.

What was unique was something that all hostels should consider. 1 Key card for everything. From entering the hostel to the room to the locker for the room. The only negative that I see as far as this hostel is concerned is the lack of shelving while taking a shower in order to keep the clothes dry. (It is a shared bathroom and therefore you want to have a spot for your soiled clothes, new clothes, wallet and glasses)

I really liked this hostel. My room had a small balcony with a nice view. Its close to the old part of the city which makes it easy to explore. Each bed had a curtain which gave some privacy. I only wish they had more charging outlets in the room.

Clean and spacious single room, had everything I needed. Location was really good - walking distance to Ramiro’s, Martin Monitz (Tram 28) and a short hike up to Miradouro da Senhora do Monte. A fantastic Portuguese souvenir/goods shop called A Vida Portuguesa is right in front of the building. A bit noisy with nightlife in the neighbourhood so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

The room was clean but a little tight and the bathroom and shower isn’t too private in the room it’s made of a stained glass. The staff was really nice and gave us recommendations for nearby food and even ordered us a taxi to the airport. The area was my main concern it’s convenient because there’s a lot of nearby restaurants but a bit sketchy especially at night.

The staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating. The entire place was spotless, and the rooms and lockers were secured with card access, which provided an added sense of safety. Staff were remarkably helpful and friendly, notably Felipe on reception. Building was kept well maintained and scrupulously clean. Access to building, room and spacious personal locker via electronic key-card gave a real sense of security and a measure of privacy. The location was excellent, quiet but within metres of a main artery with the metro close by. What could help improve? I was in a shared room (2.02) on the second floor, and needed to use the toilet during the night. The room door was a tight fit, and needed a forceful slam in order to close it properly, probably disturbing the sleep of fellow-occupants. A carpenter could fix this in a few minutes. I had a very pleasant stay (three nights) and would very happily return.

Female staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Gentleman when I checked in was a bit condescending. Ignored first couple of snarky remarks but every interaction was the same. Location was easy to get to by Uber, Bolt seemed to be challenged with the address. Subway right around the corner. Definitely returning to Lisbon but this stay is a one and done.

The view of the city from the kitchen on the 5th floor was incredible. Everything was clean and well kept, the streets felt safe, even at night as a solo female traveler. There’s a lot of options for food nearby, and the kitchen was well-equipped and spacious to prepare your own meals also.

The host / staffs of the hostel are awesome. The hostel is very clean, strategically located near metro (green line) and one of the highly rated seafoods restaurants, tram line route 28 and night bus to go to airport 208! The air conditioning is great for summer. The kitchen is well equipped. The hostel is also very clean and feels safe.

Unfortunately i didn’t enough check (area) meaning, particularly i don’t recommend if you travel alone, inside of property not bad but i think will be a lot better, restaurant inside local open 8am, almost all tours pick up or requiere meet at some point around 8am or little early, impossible have breakfast there, guys in reception nice & showing courtesy, thanks.

I chose this hostel due to price and location. I was pleasantly surprised at just how much I would enjoy my stay. I ended up rebooking to stay longer several times. The staff treated me like family and quickly all learned me by my first name. The beds are very comfortable. I stayed in a variety of rooms and never had a bad experience. The hostel has a top floor kitchen which is perfectly equipped. The only flaw is lack of food storage other than the refrigerator and freezer so if you have dry goods you need to keep in your room or hide in plain sight. That being said, I never had any issues with my things. The restaurant on the ground floor serves delicious food and drinks and was just opening when I arrived. The location was absolutely perfect. Close to public transport, shopping, grocery stores, laundry…. And all of the attractions are nearby. My 4 day stay ended up being a 1 month stay!

Je suis très satisfaite de mon séjour au Be Lisbonne, le personnel était disponible, agréable. La salles de bain en commun était très très propre. Matin, midi ou soir. Petit déjeuner copieux. La clef carte est très pratique, pour l'entrée de l’établissement, de la chambre et du casier. Prises usb ( 2 ) très pratiques. Restaurants, snacks et épiceries autour de l’hostel, station de métro très proche. Merci pour votre accueil et votre disponibilité. Il est sûr que lors de mon prochain séjour à Lisbonne j'y retournerai
