The location is ideal, especially if you want to stay in Trastevere, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Communication with the host was also excellent. She was very attentive, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. For the price, we knew we weren’t going to find an amazing or luxurious place, but overall, it does the job and is a good base for exploring Rome. The room was generally clean, but there were a few things that could be improved. The main issue was the bedding. The sheets and pillows had a noticeable damp/musty smell. I asked the person doing the rooms if they could be changed, and she was very kind and immediately offered to do so. Unfortunately, the replacement bedding had the same smell, so it seems to be an issue with the laundry rather than the cleanliness of the room. It’s a relatively simple thing to improve but would make a big difference. Also, keep in mind that the bathroom is quite small. I’m not sure if this is normal by European standards, but the shower is particularly narrow, so if you’re a larger person, you may find it difficult to fit comfortably. Overall, a decent option if you’re looking for an affordable place in a great location and don’t expect luxury. The location and the host were definitely the highlights.

Room was ready early!! I needed it due to an early flight coming in. I was able to check in right away so I could sleep. Bed was a little hard, but I sleep on a cushy mattress at home. Otherwise, nice B&B with own bathroom

The hotel is in Trastevere, which is a good part of town. The bus and tram stops are just out front, and so it was very convenient to get around. Our room was one of about 5 rooms that shared a common space. The common space included a sink, coffee maker and other items that may be more appropriate for a closet than for a communal living space. There is no front desk or staff present, so it is more like a pension than a hotel. Our room was clean with the exception of mold in the shower which really should have been taken care of. Our room had a small but nice balcony that overlooked Via Trastevere. Unfortunately, there was just one chair on the balcony that was unsafe to sit on. A table and additional chair were brought less than a day before we were leaving. Upon our arrival, I told the proprietor that our safety box meant to store passports and other valuables was broken. It was only fixed less than a day before we left, and so it wasn't useful. Overall, I think that just a small effort by the owner would really improve the quality of the room, the balcony and common space.

Our stay was nice, it was easy to find the room with their instructions. Nicely located on a Main Street but quiet. Next to a great breakfast spot and close to mini markets if you need anything. Our safe didn’t work, but overall it was good.

We were in the red room. Very well laid out kettle and a fridge. How do your own ensuite bathroom and there was also a big kitchen area if needed for anything. There was an ironing board if required. It was great communication was fantastic and they were kind enough to allow us to leave our bags in the funeral area as we had a later flight after our checkout would highly recommend it. Definitely stay there again. Excellent location straight outside the tram stop get the number three or the number eight into Rome Centre. we also had a little balcony looked out over the street.
