Dorma Saldanha

Tudo ótimo. Hotel bem localizado, confortável e bem estruturado. A única observação é quanto ao estacionamento que apesar da informação que existe, não estava disponível, por estar cheio. Tive que estacionar em outro local, que apesar de ser perto e de ter sido orientado no hotel, estava chovendo muito e portanto não foi agradável.

Super staff, lovely room clean and spacious, all the amenities you need they even had room service available. Housekeeping was outstanding even when we left late in the day they still came to tidy up

Clean hotel, great breakfast (for an additional price), attentive staff, parking onsite (also for an additional price). The hotel is nice and modern, very clean, good toiletries. The area is nice, and there’s bits of great architecture, though not particularly walkable or close to any of the more traditional neighborhoods. It’s a convenient location if you need onsite parking, and close to the airport. Staff is very attentive. Room was quiet, but beds are very uncomfortable, and the pillows are quite poor quality. The sofa bed in the triple room is extremely uncomfortable. No amenities like gym or pool, just a small charmless bar in the lobby. Decent budget accommodation for a short stay, but rest is not great due to uncomfortable bedding.

Perfect location around corner from metro and buses. Rooms are clean. Breakfast was pricy and there are plenty of better choices nearby. Bar is 4 seats in lobby. Rooms are clean and bathrooms well stocked. Safe and minifrig in room. My only complaint is that after a long flight our room was not ready till 2:40 even though it states check-in is 2. They will hold luggage so you can go explore but all I wanted was a bed and a shower.

Clean. Quiet. Basic and comfortable. Courteous but stiff staff (except the person who checked me in was warm). Good breakfast spread; worth including in the booking. Great location--20 min Metro ride to the airport! Restaurants, laundry, groceries, bus lines, weekly market nearby. Need to fix that second elevator. Other than that, would stay here again.

Accessible Room Service and easy check in

Hotel in a great location, next to Saldanha Square and metro station. Room was clean and the beds are comfortable. Across the Hotel there is a Supermarket and I woke up with the noise of the loud speakers they have outside and in the parking lot (top of the building). We participated in the Sao Silvestre race and we got back to the hotel at 00:00 and we asked at the reception if the room service was available and they said yes until 1:00 am. When we got into the room we order the room service through the QR code and waited for 45min and no sign of the room service. Tried to call to the number and was not working and with a message that the room service was only until 00.00am in Portuguese but in English saying until 1am. On the app there was no information that was closed and they got our order. Called the reception that after checking with the supervisor confirmed they were closed. We end up order an Uber eats.

Location is great and away from the crowds but within easy reach of main attractions either by taxi or public transport. Eventhough the property indicates “Onsite parking options include a garage”. The garage was never available and I had to park at a nearby site.

Ok, nice staff. Decent hotel overall. But two major issues will make sure we will never go back here: 1. Absolutely no coffee machine in sight. Not in the room and not in the lobby either. We had to wait for 8 am to cross the road to the grocery store for our first cuppa joe. 2. The guest internet didn't work at all. So they gave us access to the staff internet. Which also wasn't good. Bizarre situation!

I’ve been very happy staying at this property. The staff are great, breakfast is good, very close to Metro, restaurants are within walking distance, and the rooms are spacious. The only reason I didn’t give an excellent rating is the bed and pillows are not very comfortable and there are no other facilities at the hotel beyond breakfast. For the price though, it’s been a good stay!

The room was very clean and modern. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rate was excellent. The breakfast was very good, though a bit pricey.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke great English. The room was okay, but there was a terrible smell of mildew. The bed was subpar, with no mattress cover or comforter, just a thin bed sheet and blanket.

Propreté de la salle de bain passable, surtout la douche pleine de moisissures dans les joints. Sol de la chambre usé à refaire, fenêtre très sale et ne ferme pas, on entend tous les bruits de l'extérieur

I stayed one night at EXE Saldanha. It was very reasonable priced and in a great location that is walkable. The staff are attentive, nice and welcoming. Someone mentioned that the mattresses were hard and that is a fact. The room comes with liquid soap and body wash which is great for anyone travelling light. I did find a bed bug walking on one of the beds after 2am. I called front desk and they swiftly moved me to a new room.

Washroom floors were not clean. Reception do not answer calls often, no service. Room was Small.

The rooms are somewhat basic but nice. The bathroom door was very flimsy and made a racket while opening. The location is very convenient to get around- 150 metres from the Saldanha Metro and plenty of bus options too. Try the Deja Vu cafe just around from the hotel.

I had horrible nights due to a broken window. I stayed two nights in room 602. The window wasn’t properly shut and I heard noise from outside, airplane every five minutes until late nights and starting at 5am, as well as ambulance and nightclub music. The staff were so incapable and rude. I asked the reception to change my room at first night but they just said it’s fully booked, and no alternative suggested or apology. I could sleep well, so I went to the reception again in the morning then they said I need to come back after 2pm. So I went to the reception when I came back at evening then they said it’s fully booked again. As they didn’t suggest anything or apology again, I had to ask if they have anyone who fix the window but they said no. I ended up staying the same room and could sleep at all. Only one thing that they did was to send a cleaner to try to open the door after I went to the reception at second night but she couldn’t do anything. I cannot believe that they don’t prepare any spare room in case for something happens. If the shower was broken, maybe I could take a shower two nights. Secondly, the attitude of the receptionists weren’t professional. They don’t apologize about their fault and they talk it sounds like my fault. The manager need to provide proper education for them. I will not stay here again.

The reception staff was welcoming, the hotel was close to subway and shopping. The room was ok in size, and clean. Unfortunately our room was facing a Fire Station that had a signal every so often.

There was *No Fridge* in our room. It looks 4-stars but the details are off. The shower was impractical - water spills everywhere and the floor is very slippery. Very little storage. Not enough table space to open our bags. The room felt like it satisfied a checklist rather than guests. It wasn't special in any way. But it looked nice. Great location for driving or transit (we used both). Parking with the elevator is cool but somewhat inconvenient.

Very good location, close to Metro station. You can go to Lisbon downtown via two metro line. Room was very average size viewing back of all other buildings, There is no fridge or coffee maker in the room, however, staff were very friendly and helpful.

Friendly staff, good location, fair price, the only (kinda petty) reason is not a 5 is cuz when you call reception from your room they don't always answer.

Comfortable-functional hotel in an easily accessible location. Helpful and friendly staff.

Infelizmente tive uma experiência complicada no EXE Saldanha. Ao chegar, informaram que não encontravam minha reserva e disseram que o hotel não trabalhava com reservas feitas pelo Hotels.com, mesmo o hotel estando disponível na plataforma. O gerente não demonstrou interesse em resolver a situação e tentou nos vender dois quartos, alegando que não havia quarto para três pessoas, mesmo estando em três hóspedes. A postura foi pouco colaborativa e, posteriormente, ficou claro que a informação não era verdadeira. Felizmente, um atendente muito simpático nos orientou a entrar em contato com o Hotels.com, cujo atendimento foi excelente. Após isso, o hotel encontrou a reserva e, coincidentemente, havia sim um quarto disponível para três pessoas. Como pedido de desculpas, foi oferecido o café da manhã, que estava muito bom. Apesar disso, o transtorno inicial e, principalmente, a falta de honestidade e disposição do gerente em ajudar deixaram uma impressão negativa.

Check in was easy and host was very friendly and informative.

Great location, and the stay should have been great, but the hotel service was mediocre. The toilet in the bathroom alternated between running constantly and not having any water to flush. We had to put in multiple service requests during a three day stay. Each time we had to physically go down to the desk in person, because no one answered the phone, when we tried calling (several times) Also our keys randomly stopped working during our stay and we had we had to go back downstairs, then wait in line, to get the keys fixed. Nothing terrible — all minor things, service was mediocre.

Super helpful and friendly staff. They spent time with us to help us figure out our day and the rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. Good breakfast too.

The hotel was very clean and well-maintained, and it smelled great throughout the property. My room was comfortable, the bed was cozy, and I appreciated the VIP treatment with a complimentary bottle of wine — a very nice touch! Parking was an issue since there was never space at the hotel, but the front desk staff was very helpful in assisting me with the street parking app, which made it easier. Two areas need improvement: calls to the front desk were never answered, so I always had to go downstairs for assistance, and the bar staff could be friendlier. When I asked for help opening my wine, the bartender was rude and made me bring the bottle down instead of simply providing an opener. Overall, my stay was comfortable, but better communication and service would make a big difference.

- polite front desk staff - relatively clean room, bedding, etc. - while it's not located in the main city center area, the hotel is close to a metro station, making it easy to reach the city center - relatively easy to get here via bus from the airport - perfectly fine place to stay, good place, for when travelling/exploring Lisbon

Location is walkable to the city centre in a very safe area. The neighbourhood offers dining options, shopping and pleasant vistas.

Outstanding location, beautiful tree-lined streets, all amenities such as dining, pharmacy, shopping and good metro transportation are within a short walk. Main square ( Saldanha) is just around the corner. Clean property, excellent attentive staff.

Foi uma noite, escolhermos pela fácil locomação ate o aeroporto, porém ficaria mais, localização ótima, recepcionista simpatica, quarto espaçoso.

Localização óptima, e fácil de chegar a partir de qualquer parte da cidade. Apesar disso, parece uma zona relativamente tranquila.

I loved that it wasn't right in town center, but you can walk(40 min) or uber very cheap (4-5 euro). Breakfast spread is amazing and worth the 10 euro. I arrived early and my room was ready and they let me check in. I was very grateful for that! Definitely recommend staying here! About 15-20 min drive to airport

Ex Saldanha is a 15 minute bus ride away from old Lisbon. We found the buses easy to navigate with the help of Google Maps. The hotel is nothing to write home about, no wow factor. The rooms are small but adequate. They are kept spotlessly clean. Do not bother purchasing the breakfast package. The choices are limited and tasteless. There are nice cafes a couple streets over. There is a super grocery store write across the street for water, wine and snacks.

The breakfast was amazing. The hotel is well located.

Quarto espaçoso, cama grande e confortável. Banheiro com shampoo, condicionador, sabonete líquido e loção corporal. Excelente café da manhã, tem muitas frutas, iogurte, queijos, pastel de nata delicioso.

The buffet was exceptional and all staff were very friendly and accommodating.
