Great value for the money! The room had good air conditioning, comfy beds and pillows, clean bathroom and quiet stay. Excellent breakfast. Very close to the U line for transportation. Parking in the underground ramp is 13 euro a day. Fairly reasonable for the cost of the room. Excellent location for inexpensive stay.

Freundlich kompetenter Empfang, U-Bahn in 10 min erreichbar, schnell im Zentrum Zimmer trotz Schnellstraße sehr leise. englischer Garten und schönes Traditionelles Wirtshaus in 15 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Parken in TG allerdings teuer.

Das Zimmer hat mich überrascht, da war eine Diskokugel in der Ecke, die sich durch einen Schalter sogar zum Drehen bewegen ließ und dann beleuchtet wurde. Hatte ich so auch noch nie. Sauberes Zimmer, gutes Frühstück und es gibt eine Bar mit leckerer Bierauswahl.

Das Hotel ist ziemlich neu und sehr sauber. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und die Zimmer sehr schön. Es ist sehr leise obwohl die Autobahn nebenan ist. Einziges Manko bei uns war die laute Lüftung, die dauerhaft läuft. Zur U-Bahn ist es nicht weit und in wenigen Minuten ist man am Marienplatz. Im Keller gibt es eine Tiefgarage…kostet aber stolze 13€ pro Nacht!

Hervorragende Unterkunft in der man täglich neue Bekanntschaften schließen kann. Das Personal ist exzellent und ausgesprochen freundlich. Heimische Atmosphäre. Tolle moderne Zimmer. Die U-Bahn und Bus sind 10 min Fußweg. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind leider nur mc Donald und eine Tankstelle. Es gibt Pizza und Snacks und eine große Auswahl an Getränken.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I am a hugely loyal client with IHG and have had the pleasure of staying in them all over the world. This place definitely earns the “funky” description many have given. Breakfast was great and the location was perfect for me as I needed to be near Motorworld. However it is a little further if you are looking to be closer to town and entertainment. The main thing that made the stay special was how great all the team were who worked here. They helped with everything I needed from bag storage and also assisted with late check out. Thanks for that. They are all so genuine and kind that I felt a great deal of hospitality in the stay. This is usually indicative of a good working culture. Thanks for this great service Great parking that is underground and secure. Some of you may be here to tent a super car which I was here and I had concerns about where to park an expensive vehicle. Their underground parking is perfect for this and will be therefore returning next year for my next car rental and trip around Germany. See ya next year!

A fair bit out from the city centre but with u-bahn a 5 minute walk away it's super easy and quiet location to get into town. Very nice modern hotel with all the expected amenities. Super friendly and helpful staff and a nice bar/lounge area as well.

Wir haben zum Oktoberfest eine Nacht im niu Loco mit insgesamt 8 Personen in 4 DZ übernachtet. Soweit so gut, die Lage ist super wenn man mit der U-Bahn in München unterwegs ist, ebenfalls die Entfernung vom Flughafen ist ein guter Kompromiss und mit dem Auto ist es an der Stadtgrenze auch sehr gut angebunden. Ringsherum ist nichts zu entdecken, daher U-Bahnhaltestelle Studentenstadt und Viktualienmarkt, Allianzarena oder Theresienwiesen sind direkt erreichbar. Check in war freundlich schnell, obwohl ausgebucht! Wir hatten Komfortzimmer gebucht, diese waren modern und behindertengerecht eingerichtet. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, leider in unserem Fall jedoch das Oberbett sehr stark verdreckt! Ein no Go, wir haben das erst am nächsten Morgen gesehen und auch gemeldet. Der eigentlich gute Eindruck wurde dadurch deutlich getrübt, uns mit einem Freigetränk abzuspeisen bei der Abreise als Wiedergutmachung reicht da nicht aus. Schade, das Konzept niu ist eigentlich gut.

Breakfast was large and had lots of options, staff was very nice. Only thing was my room had random stains on the wall, maybe it’s a part of the wall and can’t be cleaned and some spots in the bathroom looked not very well wiped down. That being said it’s in a nice area of the city and there’s a U-Bahn station 5 mins away.

Hallo zusammen, am letzten Wochenende haben wir euer Hotel besucht, es war eigentlich alles zufriedenzustellend bis auf die (geile Discokugel), die leider bei jeder Umdrehung gequietscht hat, so dass wir sie ausschalten mussten.😔 Und dann war da noch die Dusche… Ich bin jetzt nicht der größte und nicht der schwerste und ebenfalls nicht der breiteste… Aber das duschen war schon eine Herausforderung😅

Special mention of Tanya at the reception and Salome at the bar for great service Only breakfast served. Good variety of hot and cold food served. Easy walk to Studentenstadt metro station. Frequent trains to Munich city centre.

The property is clean and staff friendly and professional. It is not close to the English Gardens or downtown Munich. However the train station is a 5 minute walk and everything is 20 minutes away on that. The hotel room is small, but modern and clean. I didn’t care for the disco ball on the ceiling, but you can turn that off or keep it on if you like it.

Claudia and her front desk team were great! Room was clean, beds a little on the soft side but otherwise comfortable. Air conditioning did not seem to cool the room down at all so we had to keep the window open because it got warm at night. Breakfast buffet was excellent and decently priced at €18.50. Hotel has a nearby U-Bahn and bus stop right outside.

Solid option for its location and price. The hotel is clean and staff are nice. The disco balls in the room are fun but as the main source of light for the room they get old quick given you can’t turn them off and the one in our room was super noisy.

Das Hotel ist sehr neu und sauber. Der check-in war schrecklich. Die Begrüßung bestand aus dem Hinweis, dass die check in Zeit ab 15 Uhr wäre und nicht schon um 14:35 Uhr. Auch meine Bitte um Abrechnung der hinterlegten Kreditkarte wurde verneint. Wir bezahlten dann cash. Das nachträglich hinzubestellte Frühstück (war gut) ist dann pro Person 5 Euro teurer. Dies sagte einem auch niemand. Wie denn auch, die Dame am Empfang sprach mit uns nur englisch obwohl sie bei dem langen check-in meinen deutschen Ausweis lang genug in der Hand hielt. Es besteht auf jeden Fall Verbesserungspotenzial. Fazit: Nur im Notfall wieder dieses Hotel, da der Service einfach schlecht war.

Staff was professional, due to some flight issues we ended up arriving much earlier than 3 pm check in time. We got there at 9 am, was greeted professionally and with a warm welcome by the gentleman. He was kind enough for making it work and accommodate an earlier check in than 3 pm. Rooms and our stay was exactly what we expected it to be and everything was just shown in pictures and mentioned online! Highly recommend!

They have one of those receptions where the hotel people stare into some computer screen hidden at waist-level and move the mouse around for minutes without saying a word, so that you wonder if anything happens at all. (June 22, about 23:00). The rooms are OK, the Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis is very good. I skipped the breakfast, as they wanted 22 Euro. I checked it briefly before checking out, I think that price is not justified. I can recommend this hotel for last minute bookings for one night.

Nice hotel with a decent location. A little outside of the city, but relatively close to the u-bahn and close to busses. Breakfast was very good, and fresh even when I arrived later during the breakfast hours. The one bad thing was on check-out day when the cleaning ladies kept trying to get me to vacate the room several times, starting 2.5hrs before check-out time. They even came in while I was still sleeping, and then 2 more times before I checked out 1hr before check-out time.

Situated outside the city, this may not be to everyone's taste but it was great for me to get to the Allianz Arena, as the Ubahn station is only a ten minute walk away, which gives frequent trips both to the ground and the city. The hotel is clean and comfortable, the breakfast choice is very good, and the staff are great.

The breakfast was great with the variety of food. The location was not bad with McDonalds and gas station across street. The train station, however, is about 8-10 mins in the dark after sunset. I know it is pretty save out there but still I always walk with cautious when I have to walk by myself.

Beautiful, tastefully furnished rooms, somewhat stark colors in the bathroom, but all in all perfect for this price range. Very nice staff, although some don't speak German. Exemplary: If you forgo room cleaning for a stay longer than one night, you get a free drink at the bar. The Studentenstadt subway station is just a few minutes' walk away, and there is also a bus stop almost on the doorstep. Jet gas station and McDonald's directly opposite, so you don't have to go hungry even if you arrive late. Of all the budget hotels in Munich, the Niu Loco is the jewel in the crown!

Een heel fijn hotel. Kamers erg mooi, schoon en leuk met een discobal :-) Ontbijt is erg goed en uitgebreid. De locatie is tussen de stad en het Allianz stadion in. Je staat met 5 minuten bij het Metro station en zo ben je met 15 minuten op de gewenste locatie. Parkeren is 17 EUR maar je kunt ook in de zijstraten parkeren zonder kosten. Personeel ook erg vriendelijk!

Clean modern looking hotel with good facilities for the price. Good tasty breakfast with a variety of choice. The staff were friendly and helpful, felt safe here. The location is a little out of the centre but was a short walk to transport links, then not long at all to travel in, around 10 minutes. Would stay here again
