The hotel is an old convent and has all the potential to be spectacular. Unfortunately it was not. The parking area was confusing, nowhere did it say where to go and when you finally get to a gate, it is locked and took a long time to get opened. The gym was disappointing. They didn't even have a treadmill. Breakfast was very basic. Nothing to write home about. The rooms are also very basic, no frills. The renovations they did to convert the space intoa hotel are cheap and unappealing. Even leaving the parking area was a bad experience. They said the gate would open automatically and of course it did not so I had to walk all the way back and tell the same person they were wrong etc. All in all, it was disappointing. Will try other hotels going forward. This is more of an event place, rather than a business traveler hotel.

Einzigartig ist ganz klar das ehemalige Kirchengebäude, die verwinkelten Flure und der Charme von klassisch schick bis Barock. Was sehr negativ hervorstach war die Reinigung des Zimmers. Eine Fl. Altglas wurde aus dem Müll zurück neben die Kaffeemaschine gestellt, die aufgehängten (!)Handtücher wurden getauscht, die Kosmetiktuchbox (3Blätter Inhalt), das Toilettenpapier sowie das Duschgel wurde nicht aufgefüllt, gekehrt wurde das Bad auch nicht. Nach dem Betten machen lagen meine Shorts neben dem Bett auf dem Fußboden. Die Kaffeemaschine wurde nicht von den leeren Pads gelehrt, der Löffel dreckig in die Schublade zurückgelegt. Für 265€ pro Nacht ist das absolut inakzeptabel, zumal wir das Bett „gemacht“ hatten. Es wurde also korrigiert und dann mein Schlafanzug auf dem Boden liegen gelassen. Auch war kein Bügelbrett/Bügeleisen(wie beschrieben)im Zimmer, es gab nicht mal eine kleine Flasche Wasser und die Minibar war nicht nur ultra schmal, sondern leer. Wir spielten also Tetris und kauften den Inhalt selber ein. Ein vermeintliches Zimmer-Upgrade verfügte nur über zwei Einzelbetten, konnte aber gegen das gebuchte Kingsizebett getauscht werden. Es gibt absolut keinen Schrank zum einräumen der Kleidung. Wir lebten also aus dem Koffer. Die Parkgebühr betrug 25€/Tag und wird im Voraus abkassiert, das Frühstück war nicht im Preis inbegriffen. Auch der Wellnessbereich u. die Bademäntel hierzu kosten Aufpreis. Ein Blick in den Fitnessraum ist nicht möglich, da verschlossen.

First off a wonderful and modern design hotel worth the stay and breakfast. There is some work to do on the reception and the welcoming of guests, but the rooms are very nicely built and designed. The Cleanliness felt a bit behind, but not a disgust, just some dust. The Spa area is a very little one, with not much service, no towels, no bathrobe and you need to change before going there best! The Saunas worked, but small 2x. Slept well with good beds and Breakfast was great. Food choices and fresh. Location for a city trip is optimal for Eindhoven, so generally if you want to go, make sure you don't pay too much and enjoy the hotel for it's design and location.

Hôtel central avec parking. Déco soignée et adaptée au lieu. En plein coeur de Glow, donc très pratique durant cet évènement. Chambre tout confort et propre. Juste le réglage de l'airco/chauffage pas top. On y reviendra volontiers.

Absolutely loved the hotel and hope to return. The building has amazing detailing and beautiful finishes. It was also exceptionally clean. The spa was lovely and we dined in Brasserie Rita which was outstanding. Other than feeling like we were an inconvenience to the member of staff checking us in we cannot fault this hotel, but we'll put it down to a member of staff having a bad day rather than a reflection of the hotel. Every other member of staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Personeel was soms wat afstandelijk. Kamer schoon goed bed. Onze regen douche werkte als motregen douche. En verwarming was niet goed bij te stellen. Was door een raam te openen op te lossen maar dat is wat minder duurzaam. Bar personeel was aardig maar konden de klandizie niet altijd aan. Klinkt wat zwaar maar verblijf was uitstekend. Bij aankomst bleek mijn online betaling niet in het systeem te staan, de incheck werd daardoor rommelig. Kamer was basic maar prima, helaas erg stoffig, vieze badkamer en het putje liep niet door. Entree is heel mooi, sfeervol hotel.

A little disappointing in view of the price. A strange idea to have the ‘bathroom’ sink in the bedroom - nowhere to put toiletries, no proper drawer space or wardrobe. No water in the room. Breakfast was tired looking.

The hotel is located perfectly in the middle of Eindhoven. The rooms and the rest of the hotel are beautiful restored and a wonderful inspiration for home decoration. The atmosphere is outstanding.

Stayed at this hotel for one night, arriving 26. april. I booked a "Blue Virgin Room" as the homepage said that "this heavenly blue interior with halo hanging lamps creates an oasis of peace". Well, the heavenly blue interior was pink, and the peace there was nothing of as a rock concert was going on 50 meters from my room untill almost 1 AM. Impossibel to sleep? Off course it was. A couple of days before my stay I received an "all you should know about your stay e-mail". I learned about breakfast, spa, the foot bath, the ice wall and so on. My room was pretty basic , no wardrobe it draws to put clothing so you lived out of a bag. Hotel also charged me on my card without telling me for breakfast x 5 which I didn’t have and wasn’t even there for some of the time . It took 10 days to get money back .

The hotel looks impressive. It is impressive and the rooms are up with the best. Regrettably the fault lies with the human interaction. More like German non existant than Dutch friendliness! I asked for my bill....we prefer eco friendliness so email it to you....never arrived! Try to call.....and give up after 20+ minutes on hold....3 times....3 different days! No reply to emails either. Your call future guests. Impressive accommodation....let down by poor customer service!

Mit der Unterkunft war ich sehr Zufrieden. Leider hat man mir 2x Frühstück und 2x Gebühr in Rechnung gestellt, was ich erst Zuhause festgestellen konnte. Da ich alleine ein Doppelzimmer gebucht hatte, wurde das Frühstück und die Gebühr auch doppelt gerechnet. Mir wurde, als ich eine Mail geschrieben habe, das Geld voll erstattet, was ich sehr positiv finde. Ich würde jederzeit wieder dort Übernachten. The booking was made through Expedia and now neither Expedia nor the Hotel want to issue a proper tax invoice. An absolute no go for business travel. The hotel itself is great and I will return but for sure won't use Expedia again.

Absolutely loved the hotel and hope to return. The building has amazing detailing and beautiful finishes. It was also exceptionally clean. The spa was lovely and we dined in Brasserie Rita which was outstanding. Other than feeling like we were an inconvenience to the member of staff checking us in we cannot fault this hotel, but we'll put it down to a member of staff having a bad day rather than a reflection of the hotel. Every other member of staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

The hotel is an old convent and has all the potential to be spectacular. Unfortunately it was not. The parking area was confusing, nowhere did it say where to go and when you finally get to a gate, it is locked and took a long time to get opened. The gym was disappointing. They didn't even have a treadmill. Breakfast was very basic. Nothing to write home about. The rooms are also very basic, no frills. The renovations they did to convert the space intoa hotel are cheap and unappealing. Even leaving the parking area was a bad experience. They said the gate would open automatically and of course it did not so I had to walk all the way back and tell the same person they were wrong etc. All in all, it was disappointing. Will try other hotels going forward. This is more of an event place, rather than a business traveler hotel.

Elegant hotel with a beautiful breakfast terrace to enjoy the delicious food options. The room was very modern & comfortable. The staff were great & absolutely professional. Unique experience for it has a church building as part of the hotel that can be visited when not in use. Definitely one of the best hotels that I’ve stayed at & would gladly recommend to most.

First off a wonderful and modern design hotel worth the stay and breakfast. There is some work to do on the reception and the welcoming of guests, but the rooms are very nicely built and designed. The Cleanliness felt a bit behind, but not a disgust, just some dust. The Spa area is a very little one, with not much service, no towels, no bathrobe and you need to change before going there best! The Saunas worked, but small 2x. Slept well with good beds and Breakfast was great. Food choices and fresh. Location for a city trip is optimal for Eindhoven, so generally if you want to go, make sure you don't pay too much and enjoy the hotel for it's design and location.

The property is nicely designed with high quality facilities. Rooms, however, are extremely small. Staff attitude varies. While the reception were kind and helpful, the gentleman running the bar was very rude. As we tried to pass through the bar towards our room, he asked whether we want to order. When we replied that we are just passing, he positioned himself physically in front blocking the passage and told us not to pass there. We will never return to this hotel

The Mariënhage Boutique Hotel was everything I had hoped for—stylish, full of charm, and rich in history. Our room was beautiful, with thoughtful extras like high ceilings and lovely views of the church. Our room was beautiful, with thoughtful extras like high ceilings and lovely views of the church. The entire hotel is filled with unique relics, and the stained glass windows throughout the building are truly stunning. The location was ideal, making it easy to walk to a wide range of bars and restaurants.

Great hotel in Eindhoven. I was staying 2 nights to attend a festival and everything was great. Staff were very friendly and the building is beautiful. Very comfy large bed and the minibar fridge and coffee machine is a nice touch. Probably the beat shower pressure in any hotel too!
