Room very clean. Pool cleaned everyday. Staff at breakfast both welcoming and funny. Made my husbands day ! Evening meals spot on. Had trips organised by hotel, no problems.

The services it was very nice , they should fix the area of the boat , very quiet the pool very nice , food service good but very little menu , breakfast very limited, room very good 👍 bed are little hard but good

Excellent hotel, relaxing, brilliant staff and beautiful. Great boat service to East side and they can organise all transport to sights. Easy. Only negative (for me) was its a dry hotel (no alcohol served), as a beer at the end of a day sightseeing by the pool would have been nice.

Hotel Djorff Palace was one of the WORST experiences I've ever had. The website makes it look very nice but underneath the fairy tale Islamic castle appearance there is poison. Arriving at night by boat, we found a dock in very poor condition, no lights, no railing and the dirt pathway leading up to the hotel was unlit..cell phone lights saved us. Our bed, described as being a king was really a double and was rock hard (imagine sleeping on a yoga mat on concrete). My daughter and I were up all night in pain....she's much younger but still was miserable. The lighting, or lack thereof, was disconcerting, especially at night...in the room and outside on the grounds. Our Egyptian male friend was traveling around with us and showing us his country. He made a reservation at this hotel when I told him we had a room there. Shortly after this, the hotel cancelled his reservation because he was Egyptian and this British woman owner did not want "that" influence in her hotel! After our first night we decided that we couldn't stay there...not only due to the bed but the Racist owner of this establishment.....absolutely unpalatable. I went to the deck to check out and said we were leaving. We had a 3 night stay but couldn't do it. The owner knew who we were and lied to me and said all the rooms were booked which is why our friend couldn't stay.....with no apology about the bed either....her comment was "most people really like our hard beds!" DO NOT STAY HERE!

Très beau bâtiment. Au calme sur la rive ouest. La patronne est une personne de confiance ce qui est appréciable car rare en Égypte! elle saura vous conseiller, et vous trouver des taxi au juste prix ! Bémol sur le petit déjeuner qui est assez médiocre, avec un pain industriel. Cependant la piscine est très agréable et il est facile de rejoindre la rive est avec une navette gratuite mise à disposition par l’hôtel ce qui est vraiment agréable.

A true gem! Lovely grounds, pool, boat to the other bank on request, and the room was outstanding!

There is no bar. Nice traditional style hotel, great hosts with original touch. It's on the quiet side of the river

Had free boat available all day for transportation across Nile to east bank. Boat was enjoyable for sunset cruise alone cost 300 lbs for an hour

Weird place. One star because it is a beautiful property. One star because the bulk of the staff are kind and helpful. The owner of this hotel treats the staff terribly. Spent an afternoon trying to relax by the pool but couldn't because she spent the entire time (two hours!) screaming and berating the poor staff over the silliest things (blue cheese, a cup of tea). Said such mean things to them in front of me and actually ended up saying mean things to ME when I had an interaction with her. The room was so dark I had to keep the door open to see anything, even with all the lights on. The bathroom smelled so overwhelmingly of sewage it made me ill. The hotel was unresponsive on my day of check in and I couldn't get a boat across the river for two hours. You're better off staying somewhere else.

Checked out after just one of three nights booked. Owner conceded the foregoing as true/agreed the issues, but made no offer of refund for the two nights not stayed as full payment taken on arrival. Poor, disappointing experience. Other hotels in Luxor and Aswan were excellent. In short, better value elsewhere.

Local muito bonito, atendentes gentis. Porém, a comida é muito ruim e o local não é limpo. Tem tudo pra ser excelente, mas peca na higiene, na limpeza e na alimentação fornecida. Inclusive, em todos locais que fui no Egito recebi água gratuitamente, menos neste hotel.

The property is very spacious but the bed was horrible to sleep on. My wife and I couldn’t get a minute’s sleep. It was worse with the constant cigarette smell that seeped into our room from the outside- unbearable!!

The hotel is beautifully designed, all the staff are extremely kind. The check in was easy and the owners came to personally greet the guests. The hotel is located on the West Bank, and I took a car to get to the hotel in the West Bank which was hard for the driver to find. It would have been easier to take a cab to the Nile Queen Restaurant on the East Bank and call the hotel to take their free motorboat service which pulls up to the dock at the hotel. You can take their boat back and forth between the two side of the River when exploring the city. The have a nice restaurant and the food was delicious. Nice pool. The comforter and towel wasn't the cleanest; one of the towels had stains on it and I had an allergic reaction when trying to sleep, wasn't sure if that was the dust or sand in this area. I only stayed for 1 night so didn't bother letting the staff know but I'm sure they would've swapped out if I communicated this to them.

The place was okay. There was an issue when they gave us the room. The bathroom was clogged and they asked us to wait until the plumber come and fix the bathroom. So it was very inconvenient. Also; the time that we stayed they were doing so much constructions so there was a lot of noise and taking pictures around the place made it difficult due to the renovations happening.

Power saws cutting stone. There is a new building being constructed next door. Five stories. Construction begins at 7am. The bath in room Opal is leaking badly. Advised desk. The doors squeak badly. The bed squeaks horribly. The room has no support for carry ons. You are trapped for hotel food. Very mediocre. Service people friendly. Breakfast very good but simple. Very hard to get to from other side. No liquor there or around. No tv. Wi-Fi poor because concrete ceilings. A dramatic look but poor internals. Needs a professional overhaul. Do not recommend,

Whilst this would not be everyone's favourite location ot was exactly what we were looking for a, quite unique different hotel. Each room is different but decorated with excelent taste with a mixture of old and new pieces. For some a lack of TV might be a problem but for us this meant we actually talked and did not miss it. The choice of food on the menu changed every day with a daytime menu available at the pool as well as a different menu for the evenings available in the restaurant. The hotel.also has its own boat to take you across to the East bank if you want to visit.

Pros - Beautiful property located on the West Bank. Really unique hotel. - Free boat that takes you across to the East bank - spacious rooms and bathroom - Amazing view of the Nile - Really good quality towels - Great water pressure in shower Cons - Bed was very uncomfortable, small and squeaky. Felt as old as the place looks (Diamond Room) - Rooms are not well lit. - Wifi was non existent, couldn’t get any bars in the room.

Everything was delightful. We were fascinated by the traditional character of the complex and the rooms were large and totally comfortable. The staff took good care of us. This place offered everything we needed. Mellow !! A good value bring your cameras.

Architecture très originale. Les chambres sont grandes et agréables avec la terrasse avec vue sur le Nil. Le personnel est toujours souriant et empressé. Le bateau pour traverser le Nil est un vrai plus

Sehr schönes Hotel mit liebevollen Datails und Türmchen. Schön direkt am Nil gelegen mit Blickzum Fluss. Allerdings ist meine Freundin nicht so gut zu Fuß und es waren sehr viele Treppen zu unserem Zimmer. Zudem ist die Dusche eine Badewanne die für sie so nicht nutzbar war. Wir waren nur eine Nacht von daher kein Problem. Allerdimgs sollten einige Dinge erneuert werden, da aus der Dusche kaum ein Wasserstrahl kommt und die Fenster blaue Scheiben haben und es somit im Zimmer immer dunkel ist.

Very dramatic and unique boutique hotel in Luxor. Situated on the western bank of the river it is surrounded by pastoral farms and overlooks the downtown Luxor skyline, a pleasant mix of timeless and contemporary. Our, Ruby, was large with a 28ft ceiling and massive bathroom. The second floor views of the Nile boats floating by were amazing. Furniture in the room was traditional inlaid dark wood and comfortable. The staff are all friendly and enthusiastic. Any requests were met with an immediate response. The only suggestions would be water kettles in the room to make one’s own tea, and an enclosed dining area. The pool bar is the only dining option but is open air. I’m sure in the summer it’s fine, but in the winter with a breeze it’s coat weather. Roll down plastic barriers would solve the problem. The food is abundant, good variety, and very tasty at all meals. There is no alcohol so bring your own beer or wine. Being on the western bank of Nile takes you away from the ‘action’ of downtown Luxor but the Djorff has it’s own shuttle boat so you can get across quickly. All in all we had a terrific stay and look forward to visiting again if possible.

What a gorgeous place. Not only was the staff more than friendly but the location, while slightly out of the way, is superb. But the rooms and amazing architecture is the grand hit. Do not miss this place.

We stayed at the Djorff Palace for 2 nights. The staff were excellent. Very friendly and accommodating. Marina (owner) reached out to us via email before we arrived to see if we would like to arrange guides and drivers during our stay in Luxor. She gave us some great suggestions. Once we arrived at the Djorff she was there to greet us. It was lovely. The room was very clean and interesting. The Geckos did come to say hello but they did not stay long :) The hotel offers breakfast and lunch. The food was good, fresh and well presented. The lunch menu is available until 9:00 p.m. Alcohol is not available at the hotel but you can purchase it from some of the restaurants in Luxor. The water taxi is a quick and easy way to get back and forth from the East Bank. It is free from the hotel. It was very peaceful and serene which made a lovely change from the hustle and bustle of the East Bank and the temples. There is a pool on site as well. I would suggest that you bring your own blow dryer and iron if these items are important to you. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Djorff palace was a deliteful stay. The hotel owner and staff were very helpful in taking care of us andakensire our stay was enjoyable. They were happy to arrange our rides from the airport and back which was very appreciated.

A personal touch in all services. The owner Marina has a VIP treatment not only for the customer but for each and every employee. It was such a pleasure to stay and interact with all of these special people at the hotel. The hotel is the gem of the Nile and Luxor in general. Hope to be back real soon to Luxor and will look no further than this property for my stay!! Kudos to Marina and her vision for this property!

Incredible staff, beautiful property, an oasis after a day of sightseeing. The owner is lovely and has great advice for planning your day, as do the staff. Would high recommend and hopefully we will have an opportunity to stay again.

It's a beautiful hotel in an incredible location -- right on the Nile River, the views are stunning -- and it was perfectly situated for my trip focused on visiting the temples and tombs of Luxor and surrounding areas. During my 7-day stay at the hotel I also felt incredibly well taken care of. The staff were attentive and helpful and the service throughout my stay was terrific. Everyone made me feel genuinely welcome literally from the moment I arrived. The restaurant was also excellent. Overall Djorff Palace really was the perfect base for my visit to Luxor.

Fantastic stay at the Djorff Palace. The setting is magical located on the quite and beautiful West Bank, the Palace allows a peaceful stay along the Nile’s shores. The building itself is unbelievable, built with taste and lot attention to the details, wooden balconies and windows, the place in itself a journey back to the past. Thank you so much for the creativity, hospitality and friendliness.

Beautiful hotel in very quiet location overlooking the nile. Super design and very unique. Stayed only one night but would have stayed longer. Convenient free hotel boat to Luxor harbor.

The property is unique and beautiful. Our room was clean and the breakfast/dinning was very good. The food was good and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Our only setback is this is on the west bank of Luxor. if you want to be at the center of the city then you need to stay on the east bank. The hotel does offer a boat that can cross you over to the east bank but it is a little inconvenient as there is limited transportation (there is no uber here). Also, be aware that the owners reside in the hotel so you will see them around the property during your stay.

Et unikt hotell som er en opplevelse i seg selv. Det er som å leve midt i tusen og en natt! Store rom. Vakre uteområder. Vi elsket også omgivelsene! Med vannbøfler på den ene siden, et unikt landsbymiljø, og Nilen i forkant. En oase! Noe helt annet enn det hektiske livet på østsiden av Nilen. Vi ville aldri valgt et annet hotell i Luxor, om vi kommer tilbake.

Nos encantó alojarnos en este hotel en el West Bank de Luxor, si volvemos repetiremos sin dudarlo. La arquitectura del hotel tiene mucho encanto y carácter. Las zonas comunes son muy agradables y apetece descansar en ellas. La dueña Marina organiza con eficiencia excursiones y transportes. Nos alojamos en la habitación Pearl que tiene una ventana que da a la recepción, a nosotros no nos importó porque no pasamos a penas tiempo en la habitación.

The property is very nice and it feels like an palace. The staffs are super nice as well. Wifi is very good. one issue is to find the location of the hotel. The last 300-400 meter roads are very narrow and google map is not showing the exact turn, so better call the reception and then get the instructions from them. Otherwise I will definitely recommend the place.

This place is a true gem in Luxor. The room is so nice, staff very attentive, food was delicious, the pool so relaxing. Definitely this place was a highlight of our trip. The architecture of this palace is incredible. It’s amazing they have a boat to take you across the Nile to luxor temple. I just loved this place I wish I could stay here 100 more times!

This hotel is a wonderful place to relax after a hectic day of sightseeing. The staff are all courteous and helpful. The dining options are truly delicious. It's a hotel I look forward to returning to.

This is by far the best place I have ever stayed at. From the owners/ staff to the property. The Palace is an Oasis. Built and Decorated by the owners. Who are so extremely lovely and welcoming. If you need anything they are there to help you book it or show you the way. Theres a free ferry that can transport you fron east to west, vice versa across the river. They have a bar restaurant that changes menu daily by one of the owners. The food is again some of the best ive tried in my life. Very unique, fresh, (thing's my husband doesnt normally eat he ate up!) The view is spectacular. Theres a pool thats cleaned daily, extremely refreshing after the days in the Egypt sun. The staff are so friendly and nice. They always make sure you have everything you need. You can set up shuttles/taxis with them. Even guides. This property is safe, relaxing, beautiful, and all around made my experience in Luxor a 10/10. I am telling you, if you're going to Luxor, I wouldn't miss staying here.

The room is clean and staff are friendly. The architecture of the hotel is awesome. It's a great place to relax. Even though the hotel is a bit away from city center, the free boat provided by the hotel makes easier to get around. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the breakfast which didn't have much options and serviced very slow. Also, the food somehow upset my stomach.
