City Express by Marriott Guaymas

Fue una estancia agradable, la habitación confortable y con buen servicio de limpieza. Un buen detalle de seguridad en el elevador, solo puedes subir al piso donde esta tu habitación, eso me gusto. El desayuno incluido muy completo y servicio de café todo el día. Me quedaría de nuevo en ese hotel en caso de regresar a Guaymas. Lo único que nos hizo falta fue una alberca, no tiene.

Excelente atención del personal. El estacionamiento esta al descubierto en un área amplia, lo que en ocasiones da desconfianza. Tiene su área de gym, pero no cuenta con alberca. Todo lo demás muy bueno.

Check in was great. Jasmine was incredibly helpful, despite my non existent Spanish. Hotel management should be proud of her. Security is great. Really liked that you needed a key card to use the elevator. On a negative note, the bathroom had not been completely cleaned which has detracted from our otherwise positive experience

This was the first time we stayed at a City Express, but we normally stay at lower-end/less expensive places comparable to this. Let's start with the good: *All staff was friendly--this included desk, kitchen, cleaning and guard. *Room was clean and comfortable. *Easily accessible and in a good location for our needs. Things that surprised me: *They make you wear those paper/plastic wrist band that are so uncomfortable! I hated that! We were there for 4 days and had to wear it everywhere we went. It surprises me that an establishment like Marriott would resort to making you wear those uncomfortable and annoying wrist bands. I would think that they would come up with a different system. *This Marriott does not have a pool. Surprising for a Marriott! *There were three of us in the room with only two towels--understandable. I called the front desk to ask for another, they told me I had to come down and get it. Surprising! Any other hotel we have gone to has brought it to us. *Sent son to get the towel. Stood at the front desk for about 10 minutes, but they did not help him. He is 15 and might not have asserted; nevertheless, he was there. All personnel left the front desk so he left. Rude! *Called several times before answer, told me to send him back. *Breakfast, not bad, but very little variety. Surprising! *Key cards reset each day. We had to return daily to get them renewed. Annoying! *Key card accessed gym day 1, afterwards guard had to let us in. Inconvenient!

Good parking. Pet friendly

Es un aberración contra el medio ambiente. El hotel es un hotel promedio para el fin que uno tiene de hospedarse ahí para solo pasar una o dos noches. Lo que esta muy mal es que se promocionen como un hotel 4 estrellas cuando en realidad solo es de 3. Las habitaciones son muy pequeñas, apretadas. Las pudieron hacer fácilmente 1 metro de largo más amplias cuando lo construyeron. El problema es que dicen ser 4 estrellas, si se promocionaran como 3 las habitaciones serían de un tamaño aceptable. El desayuno es bastante insípido pero adecuado. Veo pésimo que absolutamente todo en el desayuno es desechable. Platos, Vasos, Cubiertos. todo. Todo va a la basura todos los días. El impacto al medio ambiente es extremo. Una inconciencia total. Es un hotel sin alberca. Cosa rara para un hotel 4 estrellas que esta en la costa muchas veces a 45-50 grados. Por lo mismo no te ofrecen un servicio de toallas, sin embargo deberían ofrecértelas o bien prestarte una del hotel en caso de que quieras salir a la playa. Pedí una y la recepcionista me dijo tontamente que no lo podía hacer porque eran propiedad del hotel. A caray y entonces de quien mas podrían ser. Por eso la pedí. No le dije regálame una toalla. Por supuesto que la iba a devolver. La pude tomar simplemente del cuarto y regresarla, pero quise hacer las cosas correctamente. En fin. el hotel cumple su fin. No es excepcional. Me molesto mucho el impacto al medio ambiente. Yo no me volvería a hospedar ahí núnca.

I liked the cleanliness of the hotel. The breakfast was great and the employees were friendly. I booked two rooms and we had trouble with the air conditioning in one room the first day it was blowing hot air and they had to change it for another one. On the second day the air conditioning started having trouble in the other room and then it also started blowing hot air. It got so hot we had to turn it off. We had trouble with parking every night because there weren't enough for everyone.

Our stay was very good. The front desk attendant was very helpful and friendly. I forgot to get his name but very nice young man. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

Las habitaciones están sucias, olor a drenaje y el desagüe de la regadera tapado, el staff alimenta perros callejeros y al ser un hotel “pet friendly” no es seguro salir a caminar con mascotas alrededor del hotel, las chicas de recepción muy amables.

Sencillo, con lo necesario, limpio y el personal muy amable. Los felicito por haber colocado barra de seguridad en la regadera.

Los cuartos son muy pequeños y sin ventilación lo que hace orrible la humedad dentro de la habitación y los Minisplits se apagan automático en la madrugada

En general muy bien.. el único detalle es el internet es un show para conectarse no deberían tener tanta restricción para conectar, lo q si resaltó es la atención de la Sra Carmen de cocina excelente anfitriona, siempre atenta.

This is a working man's hotel off the highway in Guayamas. It is very basic. The room was fairly tight. The free breakfast was good with lots of fresh fruit and Mexican chiliquiles. It is dog friendly which was the main reason we stopped here.

It was good, but did wake up by the noise of kids running around the aisle

The staff was friendly and our check in was very easy. The hotel is very clean and modern. It is asily accessible from the highway. Will definitely stay here again!

Las instalaciones están correctas, limpias y nuevas. El checkin estuvo horrible, no servía el sistema y el personal fue muy intolerante en buscar una solución y explicarnos la situación. Duramos como 1 hr esperando.

Me cancelaron la reserva por supuesto rechazó el pago (no fué cierto) y luego que me dieron el cuarto estando en la habitación entró otro huésped al cuarto con su llave…(le dieron mi cuarto a otra persona !) pésimo servicio. Había una fila de reclamación de unos 5-6 huéspedes x problemas igual

No me respetaron la reservación y me hicieron esperar mas de una hora por que no tenian mi reservacion lista apesar que lo habia hecho con antelacion y cuidando de cumplir con los horarios de check in.

Para el checking inn duramos mas de 1 hora y media, habíamos como 12 huéspedes muy molestos esperando haciendo fila para que nos atendieran, era un solo empleado el que estaba en el mostrador, algunos clientes de plano se fueron a otro hotel muuuy mal esto

Location was a bit rough but just off main highway so not too bad. Stray dogs hanging around the parking lot and no "pet relief " area. Chose it due to pet friendly but really only "allows" pets.

Nice clean hotel. Pharmacy across the (busy) road. Lovely restaurant 2 min walk highly recommended.

The area behind the hotel was very unkept. There was garbage, dead vegetation, and dilapidated buildings. Not a picturesque view.

Hotel is easily accessible and there are restaurants next door that are within walking distance. Breakfast was good as well and rooms were clean. Thank you!!

El desayuno escaso

No te dejan entrar un poco antes y cuando llega las 3pm la linea era larga como de 20 personas y una sola persona atendiendo y muchas jentes querían entrar a su cuarto pero sus tarjetas se desprograman todos los Dias , me toco enrar a mi cuarto a las 4pm al siguiente dia la tarjeta la tienes que Volver a programar porque no te deja subir al elevador ni abrir el cuarto ciando fui a la recepción aviamos 5 personas por la misma situación y la resepcionista no estaba esperamos al rededor de 10 minutos para que nos atendiran , los pasillos muy calientes no tienen ventilacion los desayunos son los mismos no Canbin de Menús 3 dias seguidos , ya e estado en cd, obregon, Hermosillo y Guaymas la verdad fue mi última ves que me quedaré en un city expres..
