The location of this place is excellent with Park street right outside. The entrance is through the back of a building. The building itself isnt very well maintained with spit stains, dirt, etc around. The room was clean but sheets were old, faded and had holes. Pillows were small and flat. No hand towel was provided. We had to ask for a second towel. The water pressure was super low. We had to start the tap 15-20 mins before bath (shower didnt have enough water pressure to work). Staff was responsive, breakfast was decent.

The hotel doesn't look anything like the pictures posted. It's a run-down hotel with very bad rooms. The breakfast involves only bread and jam, given up on request. The rooms weren't clean either. The only advantage is its walkable distance to the US biometrics office - good for visa appointments.

This is a location choice as it's a great central starting point Park Street is good for a busy vibe with a range of restaurants. Reception is positive lead by the fantastic Parvin and the cook Morat is a Gent. Large rooms on 5 floor. You get to see the 1920 style building. All good G

This property is in Park street which is old city of Kolkata. Area around property is too noisy and dirty every where people and people no place even to walk. People just throw garbage everywhere and keep splitting everywhere no place to walk without splits. How people don’t have common sense they clean their faces but makes streets dirty. Regarding property it was old houses that converted in hotel, whole staff was very good they can cook breakfast and dinner on demands, make tea and coffee. Staff was honest. There is common area where you can dine in, inside room it was clean but bed sheets and towels was old and tear. Rest hot water was available. To be honest my family didn’t like Kolkata due to people everywhere spitting and throwing garbage and city is very very dirty and too much smoke. We visited Kalimatta temple where the Pandits made this place as business they forced us to buy their services else not allowed to enter temple these Pandits said it’s thier temple and go away if you don’t pay so we said sorry and return without going inside temple. Taxi drivers are good and never charged anything extra. In sort there are many places to visit on earth but don’t go Kolkata again or never recommended this place to visit as tourists.
