Good hotel overall and great staff but not as clean as I hoped. The room could use a good detailed cleaning on things such as trim and chair legs for example. The pool was not only cold but dirty. The water was less than clear and the pool was grimy on the bottom. Breakfast was good.

Basic but perfect! Used this hotel for layover from Toronto to Chicago. Friendly staff and all major retail chains around. Ample ev charging! Pool could have been a bit cleaner and breakfast was missing fruits. alhamdolillah it was not bad at all!

My stay would have been great if my room was clean. There was hair in the bathroom and also all over the floor. The couch had dried lotion on it. My children found black and grey debris in the bed they slept in. I have stayed at this hotel numerous of times and this is the first time I experienced a room like this.

The bathroom was spotless. The sheets were not as clean but I always travel with disposable sheets so that didn’t bother me. The carpet wasn’t the cleanest the couch had spots. But when I walked through the lobby doors it surely was spotless with smells of cleaning products. Breakfast was good to way more options than I expected. They are technology savvy the doors can be unlocked from your phone with downloading the app. I didn’t use the gym or pool so I can’t speak to that. The property was clean. The kitchenette was spotless. All in all I would most certainly stay here again.

We chose this hotel because last year we were so impressed with how nice it was. This year some of that shine was off. There was hair all over the bathroom and nail clippings in the carpet. The shower dripped all night and then wouldn't turn on in the morning. The sheets didn't fit the kids' bed very well. Overall the cleanliness of the room could have been better but the beds were comfortable and room was spacious. The staff we encountered was all very nice and helpful. The location for the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village worked out great and its in a nice area. We will stay here again.

I couldn’t have asked for a cleaner hotel to stay at. This place was hands down the cleanest, and believe me, I thoroughly checked. There are a lot of food places nearby, as well as shopping, etc. The staff were very friendly and welcoming which is a plus. You simply cannot go wrong staying here.

The exterior of the building and common areas was in good repair. Our room was disappointing. The shower was moldy and the bathroom floor had hair on it. The toilet paper was empty. The pillows for the spare bed were stained and there was the last guests trash in the can. The employees were friendly. The location was convenient to our destination.

I was very impressed by this location/property. The minute you walk in, it smells clean and fresh. Especially for being pet friendly. The rooms were really nice and clean, the AC worked really well. The mattress is super comfy! I would definitely stay here again.

This place was a pleasant surprise! It's a newer property and the lobby was well lit, comfortable and inviting. Check-in was easy and the front desk attendant was friendly. My room was spacious and clean. It was very much like a studio apartment, with a separate sitting area and small kitchenette, complete with dishes and a dishwasher! The beds were adequately comfortable. I was able to adjust the heat to my liking. The shower provided nice, hot water and the drain worked well. Free Breakfast was on the higher end of the spectrum for a hotel continental breakfast. Along with the expected Waffles, bagels/toast/muffins, cereal, yogurt and hard-boiled eggs were cheese omlettes, sausage egg and cheese biscuits, and oatmeal with a wonderful bar full of topping for it! Decent coffee and a nice variety of hot teas. Area was attended to and clean. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again

Went to Detroit to have a Tiger Baseball weekend with my wife. We arrived too late on Friday to attent the game soe we went to dinner and then to the room to watch the rest of Friday's game. My only complaint of the weekend was that the hotel tv didn't have Bally Sports Channel! How can that happen in Detroit?? We couldn't watch the game in the room. We take frequent trips to Detroit to watch sporting events. We want to watch the games on tv when we can't attend the night before the day we have tickets. Unfortunately we won't come back to your location because of this and will find a hotel that does carry the local games on Bally sports.

Waited a bit to get checked in. The woman at the counter was busy looking at someone’s wedding photos and took a while to get to us. Get to our room and the stainless steel fridge and counters aren’t clean. Whatever I can see past that. Go down to the pool… it’s greenish.. go back upstairs to shower. No shower gel. Went to bed. Noisy as heck. Morning wake up and ask for a room refresh since you have to request it and we needed shower gel/soap and fresh towels. Got back to the room around 6pm and no one had serviced our room. We usually love home2 suites and this was not up to their usual standards. I did hear employees complaining about being overworked so maybe that’s the issue. Just overall disappointed with this location. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Although the hotel is very nice and the staff were great also the surrounding area is great, for as much as it is for one night, we had a problem with the toilet leaking. Management was called but there was nothing that could be done because there weren’t any maintenance members on site.

We were unable to use the pool. There was a group that took it over, was aggressive with anyone outside the group, and made it completely off limits for other patrons. The onsite staff was intimidated by the group and declined the multiple (8 separate guest rooms) complaints. Rooms were relatively clean, service was below average.

We chose this hotel because last year we were so impressed with how nice it was. This year some of that shine was off. There was hair all over the bathroom and nail clippings in the carpet. The shower dripped all night and then wouldn't turn on in the morning. The sheets didn't fit the kids' bed very well. Overall the cleanliness of the room could have been better but the beds were comfortable and room was spacious. The staff we encountered was all very nice and helpful. The location for the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village worked out great and its in a nice area. We will stay here again.

Home2 Suites Taylor was the perfect choice for our Henry Ford Museum adventure weekend. My grandchildren spent all their free time in the salt water pool. Breakfast was a mixed bag; the waffles and cold cereal were as expected. The hot choices (microwave omelets, sausage egg and cheese muffins) should be avoided at all costs. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well appointed. If ever in the area we would stay here again.

The bathroom was spotless. The sheets were not as clean but I always travel with disposable sheets so that didn’t bother me. The carpet wasn’t the cleanest the couch had spots. But when I walked through the lobby doors it surely was spotless with smells of cleaning products. Breakfast was good to way more options than I expected. They are technology savvy the doors can be unlocked from your phone with downloading the app. I didn’t use the gym or pool so I can’t speak to that. The property was clean. The kitchenette was spotless. All in all I would most certainly stay here again.

One of our bedside tables had dried used contacts stuck to them. Clearly the staff forgot to clean the tables. Our room had us up all night because the room above us - anytime they moved all we could hear were squeaky floors like we were staying in an old war home. When I brought both issues up to the staff they said on that’s horrible and then offered no solutions.
