Reva was so kind to pick us up at the airport at 10:15 pm, and she drove us back at 8:15 am; property is very close to airport, but has gardens and is peaceful. Kitchen use is allowed, and a breakfast of fresh fruits and juice is offered!

Very conveniently located above Faaa Airport. Reva picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. Our room was large and tastefully decorated. Outdoor sitting area and kitchen are available for dining. Delicious Hayden mangoes! Highly recommended.

Super convenient since next to airport and free shuttle. Spacious beds and clean room. Quiet neighbors and site. Friendly host and staff. Loved the access to hot drinking water dispenser, chilled water, communal stove and sink and washer. Internet speed variable throughout day, understandable. Shower faucet was either cold or super hot, with short transition in between, so needed constant adjustment to avoid being scolded, minor. Will absolutely come back again!

This was thoroughly pleasant place close to the airport. It was great since we arrived from SFO around 7pm and did not get out of the airport until 8 pm. The room was roomy and very clean. The gardens lovely. The host wad great and put out a wonderful fruit tray and some juice.

Great place for our one night stay in Tahiti. We came in late and left early but the garden area is beautiful and was a perfect spot to rest before starting our early day.

We had a good one night stay coming in from a cruise. Hotel shuttled us to airport the next morning at 5:30 am, which was too early for their breakfast but we got a good cup of coffee and croissant before breakfast hours. Also got a round trip lift into town 1st night for dinner in Papeete (Great town with a really lively waterfront!). Comfy king bed, quiet neighborhood. Several steps here and there on the property with which we were fine, but keep in mind if you travel w/ heavy bags or don't do steps. Or ask if there is a 1st floor room. A friendly, convenient stay

When we got there we had flown all night. Otherwise we would have left. Picture makes you believe they are on the water. They are up the mountain. Room had mildew growing up the walls in shower and bath walls, thought we had been taken to slums. We paid for superior room and got a queen bed. No chairs, we definitely overpaid for this home turned lodge

This was a lovely place to stay after the long flight to Tahiti. The room was immaculate, air conditioning was robust, and furnishings were comfortable. The owner was extremely nice: she picked us up at the airport and drove us less than 5 minutes to the Lodge. Breakfast ($20)was delicious but overly large-a nice splurge for your first day, but not worth it otherwise. I would definitely stay here again--it is a convenient and pleasant place to recover from your flight and launch your French Polynesia visit!

We stayed at the lodge for one night on our way back to the United States. We had a wonderful time at the lodge. They picked us up and they also took us for a fee downtown in order to get dinner. The room was very clean, however small. The breakfast was incredible and plentiful. Our flight was not until later in the evening the following day and they were kind enough to allow us to sit in the lounge area so we wouldn’t have to wait at the airport all day. That was an incredibly nice gesture and we really appreciate it. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay near the airport. It is suitable for those who are in transit as it is not close to the downtown area and would need taxis so I would recommend it for travelers who are connecting to an international flight or heading into other parts of Tahiti and need to be near the airport.

The host (and her friendly dog) picked us up at the airport and brought us the short 5 minutes from there to the lodge. This is not a fancy place, but it is clean and spacious and the host is available for whatever you need (e.g., she arranged a taxi and made dinner reservations for us). The King bed is very comfortable, which is important in our book. The WiFi isn't super fast, but is quite usable. We won't be able to comment on the breakfast because the host will be driving us to the airport at 5 am!

I arrived early and waited till my room was ready. At about 11 it was. All was in order and they had a batch of adapters for me to plug my phone in.The room was spacious and everything worked well. My breakfast, though extra, was a work of art. At night my hosts were gracious and allowed me to stay in the public area past checkout.

Comfy bed, clean rooms, great AC and fantastic host. Reva went out of her way to help us have a great stay. We loved the bungalow. It will be even better if the shower faucet can deliver good water temperature. It shift from super hot to super cold. Also, maybe add luggage racks for suitcases. The location is ideal to the airport and town. We will stay here again next time we visit.

I liked this stay but it seemed like it was isolated and a little rustic. The only problem was I could get only hot water for my shower 1 minute then it turned cold.

Super convenient place to stay when waiting for a plane that leaves later at night. The owner of the property was very welcoming and accommodated us even though we showed up on the wrong day! They have a shuttle that can pick you up and drop you off at the airport. I would definitely stay again.

My husband and I booked a 1-night stay at Manaeva Lodge before our flight back home from Tahiti. We reached out to the lodge ahead of time to request late check-out but never heard back. When we arrived, no one was at the desk, and the waiting area looked disheveled. We eventually got into our suite, which was clean and cool, and the proprietor brought us flower leis and fresh fruit, which were really lovely. But when it came time to go, we were not provided with the promised late check-out, and instead had to scramble out of our room, and take a cab, (rather than the free shuttle) to the airport, hours early. Ultimately, a somewhat disappointing conclusion to our stay in beautiful French Polynesia!
My husband and I booked a 1-night stay at Manaeva Lodge before our flight back home from Tahiti. We reached out to the lodge ahead of time to request late check-out but never heard back. When we arrived, no one was at the desk, and the waiting area looked disheveled. We eventually got into our suite, which was clean and cool, and the proprietor brought us flower leis and fresh fruit, which were really lovely. But when it came time to go, we were not provided with the promised late check-out, and instead had to scramble out of our room, and take a cab, (rather than the free shuttle) to the airport, hours early. Ultimately, a somewhat disappointing conclusion to our stay in beautiful French Polynesia!

I arrived early and waited till my room was ready. At about 11 it was. All was in order and they had a batch of adapters for me to plug my phone in.The room was spacious and everything worked well. My breakfast, though extra, was a work of art. At night my hosts were gracious and allowed me to stay in the public area past checkout.

We stayed at the lodge for one night on our way back to the United States. We had a wonderful time at the lodge. They picked us up and they also took us for a fee downtown in order to get dinner. The room was very clean, however small. The breakfast was incredible and plentiful. Our flight was not until later in the evening the following day and they were kind enough to allow us to sit in the lounge area so we wouldn’t have to wait at the airport all day. That was an incredibly nice gesture and we really appreciate it. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay near the airport. It is suitable for those who are in transit as it is not close to the downtown area and would need taxis so I would recommend it for travelers who are connecting to an international flight or heading into other parts of Tahiti and need to be near the airport.

The owner of the lodge is the most amazing person we’ve ever met in Haiti. She went above and beyond to make our stay beyond expectation. She woke up at two in the morning to drop us at the airport for free with her beautiful dog. She was always welcoming and made us feel very comfortable and at home thank you for everything. We really appreciate you. Definitely recommend to stay five minutes from the airport.

Exceptional airport to lodging and back to airport transportation is excellent. Owner and staff serve with a smile and positive vibe. Our bungalow was super clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Will happily return the next time we are at the PPT airport.

We enjoyed this lodge on a hillside away from the main city and very close to the airport. The owners were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. We only stayed one night but would not hesitate to spend several nights here on a future trip

We were only at the hotel one night but it was great. We had a garden bungalow that was perfect for our night before catching a flight. Reva was so sweet and picked us up after a late night flight and also drove us back to the airport the next day. They provided coffee and fruit in the morning. The location was in a neighborhood in the hills above the airport. It was peaceful with many tropical plants and flowers. Thank you to the host for the warm welcome and accommodations.

The description of distances to airport and restaurants said they were a 7 minute walk. Totally false. I walked for over 15 minutes and was barely halfway there. This "lodge" consists of some rooms under their house in a neighborhood high up on a steep hill. I would not have chosen this place had the info been more accurate. The early check in and airport pickup was what made us pick this lodge.

Reva was so kind to pick us up at the airport at 10:15 pm, and she drove us back at 8:15 am; property is very close to airport, but has gardens and is peaceful. Kitchen use is allowed, and a breakfast of fresh fruits and juice is offered!

This was thoroughly pleasant place close to the airport. It was great since we arrived from SFO around 7pm and did not get out of the airport until 8 pm. The room was roomy and very clean. The gardens lovely. The host wad great and put out a wonderful fruit tray and some juice.

This stay was perfect for a long layover and had just what we needed! The room had nice and cool AC, a cozy clean bed, and shower. The owner was wonderful and offered pickup/drop off from the airport. The food was reasonably priced and very tasty as well! Amazing service. We would definitely stay here again.

Treated us like family! Reva was so hospitable - gave us a complimentary light breakfast of coffee and local fruits, then connected us to her delightful sister Heia that gave us a full tour of Tahiti and Tahiti-iti. Beautiful caves, waterfalls, gardens, views, then she helped us get dinner. Very nice room. Then Reva gave us a ride to the airport at 6:20am.

This was a lovely place to stay after the long flight to Tahiti. The room was immaculate, air conditioning was robust, and furnishings were comfortable. The owner was extremely nice: she picked us up at the airport and drove us less than 5 minutes to the Lodge. Breakfast ($20)was delicious but overly large-a nice splurge for your first day, but not worth it otherwise. I would definitely stay here again--it is a convenient and pleasant place to recover from your flight and launch your French Polynesia visit!

Such a great place to stay for an overnight between our flight and island hopping. The staff and host were so accommodating and the breakfast was absolutely spectacular! Highly recommend for a comfortable night’s stay. The little resident cat was so sweet and affectionate and made our stay so much happier.

This was our first trip to Tahiti, and knowing that we would have someone meeting us at the airport to pick us up and take us directly our accommodations was a game changer. Our flight was delayed by five hours, and yet Mauruuru was still waiting for us upon our very late arrival. She was a wonderful host! We stayed in the deluxe bungalow room, and it was immaculately clean. We were pleasantly surprised with a tray of fresh fruit and fruit juice delivered to us in our room in the morning. There was coffee and tea available first thing. It is not a deluxe hotel, but it has a charming, authentic Tahitian bungalow vibe that we greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay here again!
