Checkin was easy and friendly front desk clerk. Hotel was clean. Beds were comfortable. On day two of our stay the people right next door had brought their dog and left their dog the whole day in their room and their dog barked none stop all day long. I spoke with the front desk about the barking dog and was told that the people paid their money for their dog and they couldn’t do anything about it. I then called Marriott’s customer service and she talked to the hotel manager and he told her the same thing that he couldn’t do anything about the dog. After speaking to someone higher up with Marriott, I was told that the pet policy clearly states that “you are never to leave your pet unattended for any reason” but Manager still refused to do anything about the barking dog. We finally had to leave our room and go somewhere to get away from the dog. I kept being told they paid their money for the dog but yet when I told them I paid my money they didn’t care. I will never stay at another Marriott again. Hilton is where we usually stay Also the breakfast wasn’t that great and what little that they did have out was gone as quick as they put it out because they would only put enough out for a couple of people at a time. No milk for the kids cereal. Had to apparently go get the milk from the store.

It is clean. I love the ability to check out BBQ supplies and board games at the front desk. The pool is tiny and next to a busy highway, so it's loud and not relaxing. The rooms are perfect for an extended stay with a good sized kitchen, large fridge, dishwasher and a full size dinner table. The tubs need to be regrouted. TV is oddly placed on a side wall and I kept smacking myself on it as I entered the room. Customer service was hit or miss. The evening person was terrible but the morning people were delightful.

Check-in was fast and easy. I appreciated the hotel being pet friendly. Having a kitchenette was a huge plus. The room was a good size.

We were met hy the kondest front desk staffer. The entire facility was spotless and stylish. Our room was extremely well-appointed and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with good lighting. I appreciated the attached baskets to hold items within the shower. I utilized the gym which was also well-appointed with multiple cardio machines and a plethora of free weights including medicine balls and kettlebells. We were heading to a breakfast, so dod not partake of the complimentary fare, but I did glance at it and found it to be more tha satisfactory with mini waffles, quiche, sausage, bacon, etc. This was a top-of-the line stay and within a very reasonable cost. Well done!

Great experience from check in to check out. We had a 7 day stay to visit family locally. Room was spacious, clean, and very quiet. Breakfast was served each morning and it was good. While the temps were hot outside the room stayed nice and cool. Laundry room was clean (need more quaters on hand).

We were not happy with the shower condition in our room.

We had an excellent stay here with a couple of minor issues. Overall, the hotel room and property was great. The bathtub was very worn down in our room but still very clean and nice. We also had about a dozen ants over our three night stay. Not a big problem and I reported it to the staff. We really enjoyed the lobby for night time game playing.

The cleanliness was horrible. The toilet was not cleaned properly, with feces marks left in the bowl. Very disgusting. There was various hair everywhere in the shower and a dead cricket in the restroom.

The floor was wet near the A/C . My husband and daughter walked on disgustingly wet carpet . We don’t know why the floor was wet.

Room had a bad BO smell and we saw a cockroach in the hallway. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was good.

The hotel property is nice, tucked in the back of a parking lot but conveniently located. Our first room had many issues (the door wouldn’t open and close properly, the floors stayed wet from humidity, it smelled musty, there was a big hole in the carpet, and the tv was broken. They moved us and we did not have those same issues in the new room, however the doors and walls were dirty. Overall the hotel seemed in good condition, breakfast options were good too but they need to clean the rooms better. And the room 212 shouldn’t be occupied till it is repaired. We absolutely loved Waco.

The hotel is outdated and in bad shape . Walls are dirty , chairs falling apart , overall bad condition. Breakfast was very good . People at the front desk are helpful . I will not stay here again.

I liked the convenient location and the hotel is quiet. Staff were great. However we found several dead insects in the room. Looked like dead roaches behind the microwave. And a lot of hair in the bathroom.

The first room they put us in was dirty and hot we went back they did put us in a cleaner room. But it just wasn’t what we expected from a TownePlace Suite! We stay almost exclusively at these hotels and this one was a let down

There was rust in the shower in the bathroom and there was a sign in the elevator directing guests to bring dirty towels to the front desk instead of a staff person collecting them from the room.

Air conditioner started making a bad squealing noise in the middle of the night. Body wash was empty. Staff was nice and room was ok.

Nice new hotel with a friendly and helpful woman at the front desk. But our room… The first one smelled so much like curry so we asked for a new one. And the second one (309) had a high pitched sound that drove us crazy. We stayed because my son had already used the bathroom but it was very annoying. I think it was the (power lines/S”station?) behind the hotel but another couple said they didn’t hear anything in their room on the same side so maybe it was the air conditioning unit? That room also had repairs from a ceiling leak that looked bad and a faulty tv remote. Probably wouldn’t choose this hotel again.

HVAC didn't cool the room. Big gap in bathroom between shower wall and Faucet. Very unprofessional for the cost.

The Manager was accommodating, attentive and responsive to our requests for a Handicap Accessible room. The room was clean and the staff were friendly upon arrival.

This was my second stay at this hotel. Both times, we waited almost 10 minutes waiting on staff to check in... This time they could be heard laughing and talking in the back. A bell or something needs to be in place, so people aren't standing there waiting. Otherwise, we loved our stay. The room was clean, The AC was cold, and breakfast options were good.

Great, fully equipped room, nice staff at check in. Unfortunately, there was no staff at the desk to check us out. We used the house phone as the sign directed, but nobody answered. Finally, someone came in to start a new shift and helped us out.

I have stayed at your hotel numerous times with my grandchildren. The people at the front desk are always so friendly and courteous. I always enjoy seeing Loretta at the front desk.

We checked in for two nights and had to move rooms FOUR times. No sheets for the pull out, chips on the floor from a previous guest, very bad smell in the rooms and finally an air conditioner that leaked on the carpet. One staff member was lovely. The other was rude, unhelpful and didn’t even attempt to assist. Don’t stay here!

I like the location. Its close to everything and right on the expressway and the price was right. Hotel was very well kept, clean, etc.

The hotel was conveniently located and the room (suite) was clean. The AC was a bit noisy and when I shut if off, dripping water or condensation could be heard from the unit. The pool was very tiny. This hotel is good for adults on business, but with modern decor, nothing attractive or inviting for kids. Lots of fast food in the area, but lack of nice dining options close by. Steak house next door was mediocre.

Rooms were nice. Breakfast was excellent; better than most included breakfasts. Area is more industrial than I would have liked.

Located in Bellmead. New hotel. A little confusing to get to hotel, at first. You end up turning down a lane that doesn’t look like it leads anywhere but it does lead you to the hotel.

Wow!! Will definitely stay again!! Bed was super comfortable, room was clean, but what I appreciated most was breakfast. First off, it is an amazing breakfast with lots of offerings. Second, thank you, thank you, thank you for not blaring the TV!!!

We enjoyed our stay. Came down to Texas to take care of moving our college student to another University in Texas. Our stay at this hotel was comfortable and convenient. We were on tge first floor outside the buffet area. Our room included a kitchen and dining table which made it so easy to eat our buffet breakfast privately. Beds were comfortable. I think it was a hybrid foam/spring mattress. Had the best night’s rest at this hotel. Bathroom has the brightest fluorescent lighting which could wake up the dead. Shower had decent water pressure. Totally needed the wake up environment with the impending early start for our day. Air conditioning doesn’t lack. A cool chilly room was perfect to sleep in and for welcome relief from the hot Texas summer. Free breakfast buffet wasn’t huge on variety but still okay for an included breakfast. Waffles were okay. Toast wasn’t too bad. But the eggs: quiche cups and half moon vegetable omelettes weren’t anything to write home about. Kept running out of eggs at the buffet. Coffee is in the pump carafes and choice of creamers in little plastic tubs is all you get. No half & half to pour into your coffee. The muffins were still a little frozen but thawed out nicely. Fresh fruit bananas and oranges were okay. It was free. Don’t go to the buffet with grandiose expectations. It’s quick nourishment. I recommend this place if you just need a comfy bed, cool temped room, and a quick not over-the-top breakfast to get you on your way.
