Wonderful Stay at this residence inn, in Kapolei,Hi This is a beautiful hotel to stay at if you're visiting Hawai‘i Nei, especially in the Kapolei area. The front desk staff is friendly and courteous, making you feel welcome right away. The facilities are excellent — there's a nice swimming pool, well-equipped gym, and a convenient laundry room. If you’d rather not cook in your room, there’s also a grill area with two Weber grills available. By grills they have a patio area where you can relax with family and play games or just have a nice night cap. I’ll definitely be staying here again the next time I return home to Hawai‘i Nei. Much aloha!

The Hotel was nice, quiet, and clean. The pool was great and relaxing after all long day of sight seeing. During the evenings there were a few food trucks parked at the front of the hotel where you can grab a quick bite to eat if you don’t want to drive. There’s a Starbucks and Raising Canes next door.

$35 parking fee/night is unjustifiable for an unsecured lot. Also, the evening we checked in, the hotel was hosting a street fair where food trucks and booths were set up in their parking lot. When we arrived, a friendly hotel staff greeted us in the parking lot, gave us a parking pass and allowed us to drop off our luggage before we proceeded to look for a parking space. Things seemed fine until we struggled with finding a place to park. All the parking spaces were taken at the hotel and we had to park across the street on a dirt road in the event parking lot. Doesn’t make any sense that the hotel should charge us $35 to park on a lot that probably isn’t part of their property. Management should have reserved hotel parking for hotel guests.

Lovely! The staff were so accommodating and friendly, the continental breakfast was delicious and great variety, the facilities (fitness center, laundry) were superb. Your hotel was beautiful and we loved staying there!

Fantastic property with cooking facilities in room. Great decor. Breakfast was amazing although they ran out of the hot food and plates 30 mins prior to breakfast ending. Breakfast is also 6-9am which is very early for people on holidays and with jet lag. Hotel targets business folks primarily do guess this time works for them. The gym was very well equipped and quiet and the pool was a good size. As this hotel is mainly for business visitors it is not located in a tourist area. It is however 10 mins from the resorts of O’lina. It is walking distance to lots of food places and to Foodlands.

I dont usually give 10 out of 10 review as no one is perfect but couldnt fault this hotel from checkin to checkout everything super easy. Fast checkin, room large we had 1 bedroom 2 very comfortable beds, a separate lounge and kitchenette which had everything we needed. Super clean only had a shower but it was large however showerhead was too high would have liked a pull down showerhead or a bath but we managed. We didnt have housekeeping our choice but whenever we requested anything they were prompt and friendly. Breakfast a bonus and they rotate it , we would have liked bacon over the 6 days but not the end of the workd problem. Starbucks, 7eleven , and petrol station in walking distance. Each evening food trucks come to front of hotel for thise who like that. Parking very very expensive adds up over 6 days. Pool area clean and nice to relax by. They have a bar area and nightly activity programs. Really loved this part of our holiday. Would recommend to everyone. Kapolei area has just as much to offer as waikiki however you will need a car. Thanks for a enjoyable stay. We will be back.

Great hotel! From what I could tell they always have stuff going on to keep adults and children entertained. Live music, the pool, painting classes, majic show, karaoke just to name a few! The breakfast was good and filling. Staff was wonderful and helpful. The rooms were cleans and cute! I would definitely stay here again. My family tried a little something from them all…delicious is an understatement!!

The staff was excellent (Matt was very professional and helpful) Breakfast was very good! However the AIR CONDITIONER in our room was not working. They had this big portable Air Conditioning unit that they had a LARGE HOLE IN THE WALL THAT YOU COULD SEE AND HEAR THE TRAFFIC AND PEOPLE IN THE PARKING LOT OUTSIDE that was hard to program and you could not direct the Air Flow where you wanted and bounced off the wall next to the bed and made it very uncomfortable so I just turned it off. The Air Conditioning unit was close to the corner of the bed blocking access around the bed opposite of the bathroom and had to climb on and off the bed to get around to the living area and bathroom. The shower was not draining very well and would start to overflow into the bathroom so you had to turn off the water and wait until it slowly drained. Have been there with family members before and it was an amazing experience being part of the MARRIOTT Chain of Hotels.

I would have given a much higher overall rating, however live bands at a Residence Inn, I was not expecting. Not to mention the band was horrible. After a 12 hour flight, it kept us awake and I was unable to do anything the next day.

The full kitchen was a must have for this trip. I needed a freezer to freeze some food items to bring back home. It was like staying at a spacious studio apartment. Very comfortable.

What a beautiful new hotel! Rooms are modern, well designed and spacious. The staff there are amazingly helpful and accommodating. Lovely breakfast buffet area and bubbly, helpful team greeting diners. Jessica, Cliff and Kinohi in reception were outstanding. They could not have been any more kind or helpful. Jessica even walked outdoors to find me when my room was ready. They printed travel docs for me, etc. Overall a five star experience. Nice that there’s a Starbucks next door to the hotel too! Food trucks in front in the evening are a fun and local food experience. They even offer painting on canvas and live music some evenings. Highly recommend this hotel.

You really need a car to get around the area - and while that is on me, I found staff very unhelpful for the most part in helping arrange transportation or tours. They generally had an "oh well" attitude - including trying to extend our stay on the first day there. On the final day there was helpful person at front desk who suggested the "day use.com" website for us to use by the Honolulu airport. There is just not much to do in Kapolei without a car - again on me - but I found the staff to be average with suggestions or helping. I did not sense anyone wanted to go above basics.

Everything was good, the time i had any issues would be with house keeping, as we were checking out, i understand we were a few minutes let but this 1 particular hous keeper was harassing us to get out because she needed to clean the room. Which i totally understand but to be rude and constantly bang on the door while we were trying to make sure we didnt leave anything behind. So but as far as all the other house keepers they were very polite, very respectful. That also goes for the front desk. Everyone was cool except that 1 individual. We probably caught her on the wrong day but, oh well. Not sure if we'll be staying there again. It was our favorite place but now its kind of in the air.

Out of the hundreds of hotels I've stayed at in my life, the Kapolei Marriott Residence Inn is the ONLY hotel that the room was not ready when it was time to check in, and at the same time, I was denied a late check out the day of leaving. (I've traveled from Oahu to Africa and every continent) so it's odd being a local boy from Oahu and they basically twll you "Well too bad you're room wasn't ready at 3pm although you paid $350 USD a night) you still dont get a late checkout the next day" But the good thing is that the hotel is nice and Starbucks and 7-11 is a 2 to 3 min walk away from the hotel. And the Ka Makana Mall is NOT a 2 min drive away. Its realistically an 8 min drive with stop lights.

Breakfast doesn’t change at all..we stayed for six nights and seven days and only change we say is from bagel to bread. After staying for that long, I asked for two hours late checkout but was ignored. They could better to accommodate families and their needs

I have stayed at your properties in different states, this was the worst breakfast ever, and there wasn't any silverware, plates, eggs were runny, sausage undercooked and the juice heavily watered down. No attempt from staff to make it right. Otherwise, accommodations was super as always.
