Hotel Pochote Mazunte

Me encanto!!! Tiene aire acondicionado, agua calientita, el cuarto en el que me hospede estaba divino!! Todo hermoso. Tiene balcon y asi

La habitación era bastante amplia y muy limpia, el baño era grande y cómodo. El personal muy amable y al pendiente y la habitación muy limpia.

You cant sleep!!! It’s so loud even with ear plugs you can hear the night club loud music all night, wild dogs fighting on the street, people talking in the cafe downstairs. It’s a shame because it is a really big, clean room and has air conditioning and Wi-Fi. But this side of the street is not good for sleeping. Be aware.

The hotel was good and it had the basics like AC, good wifi, hot water (takes a bit to come out hot), comfortable bed and nice balcony. However, I would have preferred to have a TV in the room since there is not much to do in the area and you could get bored at night. The hotel location is actually pretty great bc it is in the Main Street and is a few steps from the beach. I expected more from the hotel but it was ok. If you want to get away from your home routine and disconnect and just relax and do little to nothing, then Mazunte is your place but if you want to party or have tours to do or more entertaining things to do, please do not go bc you will be disappointed just as we were, unfortunately. If you are looking for tours or nightlife Near the area then Puerto Escondido or Huatulco are way better options. Also, if you decide to go to Mazunte, make sure to really plan how you will get there bc taxi from Huatulco airport was super expensive $1200 mxn or $62 usd only one way!!! Again, everything will depend on how you want to spend your vacation and what type of tourist you are. If you are more of a hippie style , this is perfect for you but if you are more of a classic or fancy tourist, neither the hotel or place is for you . We went there for 3 days but one day or 2 were enough to enjoy the area. If you only want to spend few areas in Mazunte, Zipolite and San Agustinillo there are tours that take you there from Huatulco or Puerto Escondido.

In principe is alles aan dit hotel erg prettig en fijn. Erg ruime kamers met groot balkon en een fijne douche en los een toilet. Voorzien van airconditioning wat er prettig was. Erg vriendelijk personeel, grote binnenplaats. Het enige nadeel is dat het aan de hoofdweg van het dorp ligt en het een vrij gehorige kamer is, dus als je een hele lichte slaper bent dan kan dit vervelend zijn.

En la recepción me recibió un chavo que estaba como drogado o ido, buena persona pero no me dio seguridad ni tranquilidad a parte en su celular tenía una imagen de la santa muerte en la pantalla, no fue una buena recepción. La habitación es amplia y limpia, pero necesitan fumigar, maté un alacrán y una araña. Entiendo que estás en contacto con la naturaleza pero pudo haber sido peligroso. Si tienen opción busquen otro hotel.

We enjoyed our stay, but we had an uncomfortable situation when checking out. We were “accused” of taking a small washcloth, and the manager wanted 200 pesos for it, approximately $10 US. Why on earth he thought that we would want to steal a dirty washcloth that we used in the shower is beyond me, but it left a bad taste in our mouths. We think that the child who cleans the room took the washcloth out of our room the day before we left. The manager even asked us to leave our bags unattended for a bit. My partner did not feel comfortable with this, so who knows if there was some sort of plot for someone to grab our bags from us. Otherwise, while our room was on a noisy street, it was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was good as well. However, I would not feel comfortable staying her again, given our experience.

Todo fue bueno .. el personal Muy amable .. solo estaría bien otro tipo de colchones ya que están muy duros para dormir.

Muy lindo ,solo que me tocó venta dando a la calle y se escuchaba algo de ruido,pero todo bien 😍 sin duda regresaría

Great little hotel in the centre of it all. If you are a light sleeper, this is not the hotel for you.

The room itself was nice but it needs insulation installed on the wall and a better door to keep out noise. Unless insulation work is done, its not possible to sleep here. Between the traffic, the restaurant noise from across the street that starts at 7pm, then the loud bar music just down the block and the numerous drunkers that install themselves on the small wall directly underneath all the front room’s balconies downstairs on the street, sleeping in this hotel is just not possible until 3:30-4am. It’s well located with stores all around and a 10 min. walk to the beach so it’s a shame for the owners as they have nice decoration and they even leave you ear plugs on your side table but the noise is even too loud and constant to be able to rest here. If you like to party Mazunte is good for you, if you want more tranquility, go 10min. down the road to Playa San Agustinillo where you will only hear the waves from your hotel room.

J’avais réservé à l’hôtel par le site hôtel. Com j’ai bien reçu la confirmation mais l’hotel m’a envoyé un mail dans la nuit pour savoir si je venais mail que je n’ai pas lu avant 12heures ayant programmé une sortie bateau et quand je les ai appelé ils m’ont dit avoir loué la chambre en me laissant en plan avec un taux d’occupation de la région a 90% soit en galéré Merci

The staff were very professional and curiously. The owner introduced himself to me. I even saw on street and he me with directions. Very nice, Mazunte is great experience.

Room was very nice and staff was super nice. I really enjoyed my stay.

Excelente ubicación y atención del personal

El lugar esta bien, solo que aquí dice que aceptan mascotas pero no sé comenta que hay un cargo adicional por ello, al momento de mi llegada me dijeron que no se aceptan mascotas pero yo ya me había adelantado a marcar y me habían dicho que si solo que tenia un cargo extra. Te marca que el cuarto es para 3 personas yo me quede en la Magdalena pero solo es una cama queen, te prestan otra cama individual por un costo extra. Creo que solo es cuestión de que sean mas claros en la pagina. No me gusto mucho el pueblito magico, pasaría ahi solo un par de dias y sin duda iria a punta cometa.
