The hotel is very conveniently located, just to the left of the ferry exit. The staff are very friendly and all speak English. The rooms are very clean, and the hot spring baths are a real treat! There's a small bar on the first floor, as well as a lounge for guests to use, offering a variety of free drinks, coffee, tea, and even ice cream. There's also a restaurant on the basement floor, offering a buffet-style Japanese and Western breakfast and dinner, with a wide variety and delicious food. I'd definitely stay here again if I had the chance. Highly recommended!

ひとり旅で訪れた宮島 こちらの宿はフェリー乗り場のすぐ目の前にあるので利便性がバツグンでした。 お部屋も清潔で使い勝手が良く心地よく過ごせました。スマートテレビがあり、ランドリー設備があるのもポイントが高いです。 大浴場もとても清潔で混み合うこともなくゆっくりと利用出来ました、部屋からタオルを持っていかなくても浴室入口に置かれてあるタオルを使える点も良かったです。 朝夕の食事はバイキング形式で、一人でもゆっくり落ち着いて食事が出来て満足でした。 選んで良かったと思える宿でした。

Awesome place to stay. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms (ours even had a massage chair!), great breakfast including western options. Just across the road from the ferry terminal. Definitely recommended.

A beautiful stay at the Island of Miyjima. We stayed two nights and it was wonderful. A great room in Japanese style but with Western beds. A cosy guest only lounge with free tea and coffee. A relaxing onsen. We will come again!

El hotel esta muy bien y justo delante de la estacion de Ferry. Personal amable. Hay un salon comun donde tomar cafe/infusiones y degustar unos dulces típicos de la isla, todo gratis. Delante de recepcion tambien hay una panaderia con bolleria por si apetece comprar. Habitacion muy espaciosa. El onsen esta muy bien, con productos de cosmetica facial. Hay todo tipo de ammenities para el aseo, así como yukata. Nosotros cenamos en el hotel, buffet de comida, bebida y licores, y la verdad que bastante bien y variado

Excellent séjour de 4 nuits dans cet hôtel, ce qui nous a permis de faire nos visites à contre courant des flux touristiques. Le petit déjeuner est très abondant et délicieux, la chambre calme et confortable (dommage de ne pas pouvoir ouvrir la fenêtre). Joli onsen peu fréquenté au dernier étage. Personnel très souriant et sympathique.

Location: it's a few steps from the ferry/boat ports, so you don't have to lug your bags through the island. All the sensational things to see on Miyajima are in walking distance. Food: I only had breakfast, but people seemed to like the cocktail bar too. Breakfast wasn't complex: half continental, half Japanese, all fresh and good. I appreciated the salads every morning. Extras: the cheapest coin laundry I ever seen in Japan. Free drinks (including 10+ types of coffee/tea, soft drinks) and ice cream in the lobby. Rooms: much bigger than the Japanese average, with a fantastic bathroom and an enourmous bed. I personally didn't like the pillows, but that was survivable. Staff: the best thing in all these good things: everyone was always 100% helpful and kind. If you come to Miyajima (and you really should), this is the hotel to stay.

After battling crowds in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Hiroshima, Miyajima and the Hotel Miyajima Villa were just what the doctor ordered. So much that as soon as we checked in for a two-night stay, we extended by an additional night. Ideally located just steps from the ferry and a short walk to the island's attractions, the hotel is immaculate, comfortable and staffed by very helpful, courteous staff. The buffet breakfast got each day off to a good start and our afternoon soaks in the top floor onsen were a great way to get rid of the kinks.

Good stay, uncomfortable beds, we are not used to Japanese beds. We need wester style mattresses. But an over all great Hotel. The staff was extremely friendly, the hotel was clean and well maintained. The location couldn’t be better.

Great and helpful service from staff on the front desk and a nice hotel in a great location for travel from Hiroshima. The hotel itself is very clean, modern, and well equipped. Would have loved a cold bath and sauna along with the onsen but realize you can't have everything you want.

Everything about this stay was excellent. The hotel and rooms were nicely appointed with amenities and the food (bar, restaurant, and bakery) was all excellent. The onsen was fantastic, very well maintained and clean. Additionally, the location right next to the ferry and just minutes from the main shopping arcade was perfect. Itsukushima shrine and Mt Misen should not be missed! We wanted a few quiet days in between the big cities, and this hotel is the one to stay at!

The best thing is that it is right across from the ferry, so very easy to find. They facility is very clean and the meals are excellent. A little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. They public bath facility is great.

スタッフの皆さんが笑顔で対応してくださり、チェックインからチェックアウトまで気持ちよく過ごせました。 大浴場は畳敷で、足元が冷たく無いし滑りにくかったので、全世代が安心して入浴できると思いました。 海側の部屋に宿泊しました。残念ながら鳥居は見えない距離でしたが、桟橋の目の前で、荷物を預けて散策に行けるので行きも帰りもとても便利がよかったです。 また宿泊させていただきたいです。 ありがとうございました。

This hotel was truly the best I have ever stayed. Beautiful, spacious rooms and based on a breath taking island. The room was clean, spacious, and perfectly mixed traditional Japanese furnishings with modern. 100% recommend, I had the best sleep of my life!

Very close to the ferry when you arrive. The staff are lovely and helpful, however, the rooms are a bit strange. Our queen room with Mountain View didn’t have a window (other than the one in the bathroom), and the view was of shrubs outside, not mountains. Maybe because we were on the second floor… Breakfast buffet was very plain for the price you pay for this hotel, if you have to pay extra for the breakfast, I strongly suggest you skip it, it’s not worth the price. It’s a decent hotel but I don’t think it’s good value for money.

Our queen room with Mountain View didn’t have a window (other than the one in the bathroom), and the view was of shrubs outside, not mountains. Good-sized room with surprisingly tiny bathroom. Bathroom so poorly designed that it is very difficult to actually use. No place to hang towels or clothes. Angled step near bathroom door that makes falling easy. Spoke to manager about same. Room significantly overpriced for such discomfort. Would not recommend.

The staff rarely speak English. It’s very hard to communicate with them. They gave us a room next to the elevator. It’s very noise early in the morning and late in the evening. Excellent customer service provided by a young lady by the name Hazuki ,who spoke superb English facilitated check in and she explained all the services that were provided by the hotel including the rooftop Onsen. Superior food choices offered at breakfast , along with comfortable room options & a very hospitable staff made for a wonderful stay in Miyajima !

The best thing is that it is right across from the ferry, so very easy to find. They facility is very clean and the meals are excellent. A little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. They public bath facility is great.

The hotel was really close to the Ferry Terminal and we were able to drop our bags and head off quickly to see the sites. Restaurants close early on the island so eat around 5-6pm. Staying overnight lets you go up the ropeway at 9am before the day crowds hit (they are substantial). We went over on the JR Ferry and came back on the fast boat to the Hiroshima Peace Park. The Ropeway is excellent. Hotel breakfast is very good.

Charming place. Ideal so that you can feel a part of Miyajima island. Staff could not be more pleasant and helpful. Understand their western guests while still making you feel like you are having an authentically Japanese experience. So convenient to the fairy boat but just out of the way of all the tourist traffic. Ready to go back.

Location: it's a few steps from the ferry/boat ports, so you don't have to lug your bags through the island. All the sensational things to see on Miyajima are in walking distance. Food: I only had breakfast, but people seemed to like the cocktail bar too. Breakfast wasn't complex: half continental, half Japanese, all fresh and good. I appreciated the salads every morning. Extras: the cheapest coin laundry I ever seen in Japan. Free drinks (including 10+ types of coffee/tea, soft drinks) and ice cream in the lobby. Rooms: much bigger than the Japanese average, with a fantastic bathroom and an enourmous bed. I personally didn't like the pillows, but that was survivable. Staff: the best thing in all these good things: everyone was always 100% helpful and kind. If you come to Miyajima (and you really should), this is the hotel to stay.

Hikes on the island are really great, and the Itsukushima Jinja Otorii (Grand Torii Gate) makes for a great photo opportunity. The wild but very tame deer are cute but of course certain foolish/ignorant tourists insist on feeding them even though it is forbidden (and moreover bad for the deer).

Everything about this stay was excellent. The hotel and rooms were nicely appointed with amenities and the food (bar, restaurant, and bakery) was all excellent. The onsen was fantastic, very well maintained and clean. Additionally, the location right next to the ferry and just minutes from the main shopping arcade was perfect. Itsukushima shrine and Mt Misen should not be missed! We wanted a few quiet days in between the big cities, and this hotel is the one to stay at!

Very close to the ferry when you arrive. The staff are lovely and helpful, however, the rooms are a bit strange. Our queen room with Mountain View didn’t have a window (other than the one in the bathroom), and the view was of shrubs outside, not mountains. Maybe because we were on the second floor… Breakfast buffet was very plain for the price you pay for this hotel, if you have to pay extra for the breakfast, I strongly suggest you skip it, it’s not worth the price. It’s a decent hotel but I don’t think it’s good value for money.

El hotel esta muy bien y justo delante de la estacion de Ferry. Personal amable. Hay un salon comun donde tomar cafe/infusiones y degustar unos dulces típicos de la isla, todo gratis. Delante de recepcion tambien hay una panaderia con bolleria por si apetece comprar. Habitacion muy espaciosa. El onsen esta muy bien, con productos de cosmetica facial. Hay todo tipo de ammenities para el aseo, así como yukata. Nosotros cenamos en el hotel, buffet de comida, bebida y licores, y la verdad que bastante bien y variado
